Meet the OCs — Faye Jordan
Faye is a returned WAC studying at her local college when she stops to admire the flowers of early spring, reminded of her time in Italy with the Fifth Army. She meets a fellow student and veteran in the process.

Jo felt very young here. Maybe young was the wrong word, although that was probably true too. Green. Society page headlines paled in the face of what the women she now sat amongst in London had seen and had written about. To be fair though, Jo thought, most society page headlines paled in the face of strong coffee.

Meet the OCs — Mickey Franco
Mickey grew up on the West Coast as the daughter of Turkish Jewish immigrants. The war brings her, an Army nurse, to an Evac hospital in the Pacific Theater; her story sees her back home, trying to regain a sense of her life. She has an unexpected encounter with a certain returned paratrooper after an urgent situation brings them together.
This project is currently on the back burner as I work on a larger project, but you can find her in this little blurb, and in this prompt fill alongside the aforementioned paratrooper.
