More StH AU because I'm unhinged

It's my birthday and I'm feeling unhinged so have some StarGoth and some light SilverFreckle - "C'mon, Deacon. Mom said we can visit them." "Visit who, again?" Deacon asked as Chase dragged him down the hallway. He remembered a few days ago when his cousin was talking a mile a minute about 'people in test tubes or some shit' that he just 'had to see'.

"Well, his label is No. 2 but I haven't been calling him that," Chase said as they entered the room. Deacon looked around in awe. Chase was right. For once.

Metallic-looking humanoids were suspended in liquid, only two of them awake and looking at them. Deacon watched as Chase went over to the one that was black and grey. The one with the label 'No. 2'.

'Hi, Buddy' Chase signed. The humanoid creature lit up when Chase signed out a name other than his label. They started signing to each other, going too fast for Deacon to process. So, he focused on the other one who was awake. The label below her said 'Little Silver'. She looked beautiful, and....very accurate to her name. Silver skin, silver hair, silver clothes. Even silver scleras. With a pink gemstone as her pupils. She was wearing what looked like a full ballgown. Even little heels. Her hair was styled in a slight wave, but also looked to be...not moving.

Chase tapped his shoulder, and he jumped slightly before blushing in embarrassment.

"Buddy says to just call her 'Silver'. He's taught her some of the sign I taught him, so, she'll go slower for you," Chase said. Deacon looked over at No. 2 or 'Buddy' as Chase was calling him. 'Buddy' nodded at him, then gestured to 'Silver'. Silver, now seeing that he was more aware, waved at him politely.

'Hello?' Deacon signed. Silver's face lit up, and she began signing to him.

'Name?'

'Deacon.'

'Nice name. Call me Silver.'

'Pretty name.'

Silver looked to giggle when Deacon signed that, and now Deacon blushed slightly because of how pretty she was. Silver was signing again.

'Chase nice. Makes Nox happy.'

'Nox?'

'He chose name. Likes Buddy when Chase says it.'

Deacon looked over at his cousin and 'Buddy'/'Nox'/No. 2. Chase was showing him some drawings, then the two were signing to each other. When Chase turned the page, Deacon saw in in the humaniod's also gemstone eyes. The way he looked at Chase.

'Chase name not real name. Buddy looks happy.'

'Chase not real name?' Silver asked. After a few seconds, though, she shrugged. 'Looks happier with that name.'

Deacon agreed. But, he could definitely tell. It wasn't just a friendship between those two. It was something so much more.

He just wondered if Chase knew what he was getting into.

Burntpaw (Burntpetal) (10 moons)- An unusually spotted rosette dark ginger tom with copper eyes who’s confident and quick to help. They are being mentored by Wolfblur.

Rainpaw (Rainshadow) (8 moons)- A long furred dorsal striped black she-cat with dark blue eyes who’s troublesome and quick witted. They are being mentored by Greenspots.

Moonkit (Moonpelt) (4 moons)- A black ticked and white she-cat with one cyan eye and one silver eye who’s charming and quick witted. Bubblingkit was born to Diva alongside her littermate Yellowkit. While Yellowkit died young, a victim of heatstroke, Bubblingpaw was apprenticed to Sunfoot at six moons old. She grew to be kind and compassionate to her clanmates but willing to chase off outsiders who might harm the clan. She earned her warrior name, Bubblingchomp, late at sixteen moons old due to spending time recovering from a leg injury during her apprenticeship.

As a warrior, she became a strong hunter, able to not only find prey even in the cold leafbare months but also sharp enough to tell when potential prey is ill and unfit for hunting. At one point, she took severe injuries while defending clan deputy Luci-Purrpelt from a hawk, surviving but with long scars down her side. It was her act of bravery saving Luci-Purrpelt from the hawk that caused her mate Acornflick to fall in love with her, the pair going on to have a number of kits together. Acornflick is also a happy step dad to three kits that Bubblingchomp had before becoming mates with him: Pouncefleck, Jaggedlake, and Silverfreckle.

That said, she's also no stranger to betrayal. When Luci-Purrpelt, the cat she'd saved from a hawk attack, was exposed as a kit murderer, Bubblingchomp was the one to keep Luci from being able to take her kits (Fluffykit and Pondkit) with her into exile despite herself being pregnant with Sharpkit, Mitekit, and Harekit. In return, Luci-Purrpelt repaid Bubblingchomp by jumping her out in the territory some moons later. Bubblingchomp survived, but was left with scarring over her face.

Now in her older years, Bubblingchomp feels she still has a few moons left in her before she has to retire.

07.29 - “Shallow Waves” - It’s been another day that hasn’t quite started until the afternoon. The big experiments here lie in the application of the shadow and the color of the brows. I started my shadow from the inner corners and worked out today, but then I liked the way the first color turned out so much I didn’t want to add the other blue on top of it! In an attempt to get a little more of the dark blue on my face I decided to finish my eyebrows off with it. That didn’t look QUITE right, so I put more of my standard powder on it and it magically turned out the color of my lips, tying the whole thing together. Keeping with the water theme, I went a little overboard with the silver spots on my face. The first week is up! Tomorrow I’ll have used every color on the pallet and the mixing and matching of old familiars will commence! Chase is a servant, and just so happens to run into Buddy/Nox while running errands one day~ Chase is the servant of a wealthy, but kind gentleman. And Nox wonders why he can't get Chase out of his mind~
