Michael didn't say it, but both he and Zoe felt that Rohan taught them a lot from the moment he was born. He was so different than them in his demeanor and the way he looked at things, at times it forced them to adjust their frame of thinking. Just like Rohan, Marisol wasn't quite like Fiora or Don, so Michael assumed the same would be true of Don's first born, too.

Pietro Impellizzeri was a first generation Sicilian immigrant. No matter how much Michael's father strived to Americanize himself, he carried numerous superstitions from the old country that he taught each of his children to be wary of. Dreams in particular could either be a means of guidance or behave as an insight into one's future, he claimed. Michael recalls how burdened his old man could be if he had a nightmare, how it - if truly bad and mentally scarring - was enough to make him schedule a therapy session. While Pietro and Michael clashed many times over differing viewpoints, he never doubted his old man when it came to dreams. Ever.
