SIMBLREEN SCHEDULE

Now that I finally finished my gifts, here's my schedule for the event.

I'll be giving out gifts the first weekend, October 18-20. I don't have a set schedule, but I'll be around mostly in the daytime, EST. I have two treats that I'll be giving out all three days. Come on by if you like vanilla sims. No tricks, only treats. I'll release everything publicly by the end of the month.

Hi all! Last minute as always, but I have a treat to hand out this weekend! 🍬

I will have my porchlight on tomorrow (Saturday 10/28) and Sunday (10/29) from about 7 am EST to 9pm EST, there may be some variation there, but that's about the times I expect to be active! 🧟

When my porchlight is on you can send an ask (off anon) requesting your treat and I'll send it to you! 👻

I have on treat for the weekend, same both days, and it will be released on Halloween, so don't worry if you miss trick or treating! 🎃

I'm posting my Simblreen notice/calendar a little bit early this year, because on my page, October includes a big, fun set on the first of the month. Last year I found myself feeling a bit sad about the fact that the treats I shared could barely be used for the Simstober Challenge & other fun things, since so close to the end of the month. So I wanted to make sure I shared this big set with plenty of time to use them for the season! Make sure to check out my Tumblr page, I’ve already started posting some items with autumn & spooky themes! 💋 💋

For simmers that are new to my CC, I make a lot of witchy and magical-themed items, feel free to check out my pinned index if there are particular things you are looking for 🔮💗✨

My treats will be presented the same way I have done it in previous years. Made as a public post instead of requiring people to send Asks. (If you do send an Ask, no worries at all, I will probably still answer you with a link to the post ☺️) I get overstimulated really easily so it is easier for me to do it this way. Forever In Between - Invictus

Robin appears to have stumbled into a rather nightmarish situation and it’s up to you to ensure he makes it out alive. If he dies-.. well, maybe that’s it, or maybe he just wakes up, or maybe he won’t die at all?! Probably best not to find out the hard way though, right?

Invictus is a multiple-choice Halloween special based on Until Dawn, various other classic horror games, a teensy bit (read: a lot) of brain rot, and an overactive imagination; mine or Robin’s, you decide.

I know that creepy, slightly gory things aren't for everyone so below is a list of potential trigger warnings and if you want to sit this one out you can block the tag "fib invictus" and we'll pick up where we left off storywise in November! 🖤🧡

creepy dolls, various monsters, weapons, blood, death, murder, corpses, fighting, injuries, needles, electrocution, experimentation (not the good kind) and general peril!

As a side warning: I will be continuing with regular previous/next links as it's still technically part of the story, though I will provide a link to skip past it all when the time comes, so look out for that when normal posts resume! My usual mon-fri schedule will probs go out the window too as some posts will have votes that last a day so I'll either take the day between those off or post later than usual idk we'll see what happens 🤸‍♀️

I've been busy with this project in the background since the end of July and keeping up with regular story nonsense whilst working on this and adulting in between was NOT it 😅 (if you noticed my regular posts lacking in their usual vibrancy no u didn't.. but ur also right cos i've had to be super lazy with it recently to keep up with two things at once, so SORRY! fkjfk)

Anyway, hopefully it's worth it, I had a lot of fun making this special and I'm pretty proud of it so I hope everyone enjoys our October shenanigans this year! ✨ Embers Academy Spellcasting Tournament ✨

it's basically a mix of a challenge where you submit your sims to participate, and a gift giving event! i want me and you to have more fun and involvement than just requesting and sending a link

so how will the tournament go? 🔥

it will consist of two major stages: on the first stage contestants will try to score as many points as they can, showing off their skill in different magic disciplines; on the second stage contestants with enough points will be able to enter the main event of the tournament: magic dueling! for the fun of it, you may also see some familiar faces from Glimmerbrook as npc participants!

must be a spellcaster, obviously!

the tournament is for students, so they can only be novice, neophyte, or acolyte

any age from teen to elder is acceptable. usually, students are teens and young adults, but who am i to say what story there is behind your sim? by the way, they don’t have to be from Morgyn’s school: guests are welcome, too!

give them up to 3 everyday outfits, one for regular wear and the optional ones for brewing potions and flying / magic duels if you want to. please keep the rest of their wardrobe to a bare minimum and limit cc usage to genetics and everyday outfits. maxis match only please!

i hope 2 weeks are enough for submissions, because the deadline is october 6th. the tournament will start on the 7th of october and will roughly take three weeks. on weekdays i will post the tournament gameplay, and on the weekends i’ll post the scores

but what about gifts? 🎁

when the final champion will be announced, i’ll send the set of simblreen gifts to all participants. regardless of whether your sim made it to finals or left early, everyone will get their gifts anyway!

SIMBLREEN 2024 SCHEDULE

I'm happy to announce I'm going to participate in my first Simblreen ever!

I'm going to share gifts on both weekends: Weekend 1: October 18-20 Weekend 2: October 25-27

Witching hour: October 19th from 3 pm to 4pm and 8 pm to 9 pm (CET) October 26th from 3 pm to 4pm and 8 pm to 9 pm (CET) I have around 7 treats, all are sims for download. I'm not sure if I'm going to make them public after the event, but they will be repeated multiple times and my porchlight will be open for a few hours, so everyone gets a chance! ❤️

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 Helena Zhao Is Dead will be back next Monday! There will be one post a week for at least the next three weeks. I hope that gives me enough of a cushion to work ahead, but I seem to have chosen several very involved scenes to do back to back, so I can't make any promises about returning to a more regular schedule long-term. You officially have a week to catch up if you're behind. 😈

A lot of time and effort went into these next three posts. The scene involves about 20 Sims altogether and I made about 75% of the poses! I'm really pleased with the outcome, and I hope you'll all like it too. I'm also planning to turn some of the poses into a Simblreen gift before October ends, so be on the lookout for that. 🧛🏻‍♀️🎃🦇

Simblreen 2024 Schedule

I'm not going to be doing porchlight trick-or-treating this year, but I do have several gifts to give away. I'm going to be doing a little scavenger hunt around my blog, hiding emojis with links to my treats around my desktop theme and pages.

All my treats will be available to be found from October 18th through October 24th. The 25th-27th I will be releasing my gifts publicly, though they will still be up on my blog if you'd rather hunt for them.

My gifts aren't necessarily Halloween-themed, but 2/3 of them are vaguely spooky-adjacent. I have 2 CAS treats (one with two versions, so 3 packages total), and one pose pack to share with you all!! (If I manage to figure out an issue with another WIP of mine before then, you might get a bonus CAS treat, but I make no promises.)
