Vireo Showdown; Bracket 4, Poll 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fun Fact!
Philadelphia: told from the very similar Warbling Vireo by how much cuter it is- having bigger eyes on a small head and round body do contribute to this bird's (scientifically proven) cute appearance
Tepui: with only 270 sightings on eBird and 10 photos, this is our least "reported" vireo in the tourney
Warbling: their song has been described as "a happy drunk making a conversational point at a party"

[image ID: a map of North America, with the southern Canadian Providences colored with a red band, which also dips into the northeast states. there is blue from just west of the Yucatan peninsula down to the center of Panama. between the two of these is a bar of yellow over the eastern States, as well as Cuba, Jamaica, and the Bahama island chain. red denotes breeding range, yellow is migratory range, and blue is non-breeding range. end ID]
