An amazing master Simon Lee @spiderzero from whom I learned so much and hope to learn more is giving series of online master classes in April. My fellows doll makers, puppet makers and puppeteers! This coming Monday January 20th, one of the most amazing teachers I have met and a legendary sculptor @spiderzero starts his core and advanced classes. I am lucky to live in the LA area, so I could take his core class in person, but he has online classes as well. What does it mean to be a good teacher those days, when we can google or YouTube almost everything? What tools to use, what kind of clay is the best for my project, how to make dragon scales etc. We can have access to all the information, but Simon teaches how to put it together into a system that will allow us to succeed as professionals and as independent artists. Simon knows how to bring out the best artist in each of his students, respectfully guiding us through challenges (mine being anatomy, oy).
