A sports bar restaurant focused around French Lick’s hometown hero, Larry Bird. Lots of memorabilia from Bird’s personal collection was on display. College Ave., the brewery opened in 2015 inside the former St. Joseph church in the Lockerbie neighborhood. It comes from the same owners that brought Indy Chatham Tap and Ralston’s DraftHouse. Much of the building’s character remains intact, including salvaged pews and a reclaimed wood bar top. St. Joseph brews, Benevolent Belgian Blonde (Gold) and Confessional IPA (Bronze) are just a couple of their Brewers Cup award winning beers.
