this mod adds a new interaction to stereos: "dance with baby in arms". it works with both infants and toddlers!

base game compatible requires the xml injector available for sims from teen to elder.

outcomes:

increases fun and social motives;

increases parenting skill;

helps fulfill the "party spirit" and "art & music" holiday traditions (alongside other related actions);

adds unique buffs:

known issue: the interaction works most of the time, but can be a bit tricky with infants — sometimes the baby starts crying, the action cancels, or the adult puts them down for no reason. this is just how the game behaves with infants, and sadly, it’s not something i can fix(

i think it's a useful little addition for different family events — hope you enjoy it! 💗

Hey everyone, I Hope you all are doing great. I've got a new update for the Kiss and Grind mod: a Wave Kiss Animation. Besides the name, this is basically a romantic small dance interaction. I didn't go with a dance-related name because I am still saving that for another interaction.

The animation is basically a couple's dance animation, but I have lowered the dance moves a little bit. So it can be played as both a romantic interaction and a dance interaction!

An Unexpected Audience

As Luca listened from the hallway, he found himself drawn into the haunting melody that echoed through the empty school theater. He had never expected to find anyone here, let alone someone so... captivating. The sound of the Steinway, smooth and full of emotion, sent a wave of curiosity through him. He couldn’t place it, but something about her playing—there was a raw passion in it, like she was pouring something personal into each note. It was almost hypnotic. He hesitated at the door, unsure whether to interrupt or stay hidden. His instinct was to remain unseen, but as the music drifted into the air, something told him to stay just a little longer. He shifted slightly, careful not to make a sound, as if this moment could somehow be stolen away if he made a wrong move. But then, something shifted. The music paused for a breath, and Luca heard footsteps approaching from the corridor. He panicked for a split second, but then a thought hit him—this place was off-limits. The theater was closed for setup, and the janitor was about to walk in. The last thing he wanted was to get involved, but he couldn't let her get caught either. His heart raced for a moment, but he knew what he had to do. He flipped on the lights, the sudden brightness startling her, and watched as her fingers froze on the keys. For a second, their eyes locked. And though he didn’t know much about her, he remembered her—she was the girl who'd watched him at the restaurant a few weeks ago. The way she hid when he caught her staring. It was almost the same feeling now: a quiet curiosity, unspoken but heavy in the air. He didn’t hesitate. Reaching out, he grabbed her hand, pulling her toward the door. With the door just inches from the janitor’s grip, they slipped into the hallway, adrenaline rushing as the sound of footsteps echoed behind them.

@atomiclight requested an in-game version of my cute cas animations, so here's both the all-in-one animation and (lazily) looped versions of the four animations individually in an animation pack :)

a few of the animations have clipping issues with larger sims. there's a gif on the original post that shows which ones. i originally intended them for close up uses, so the legs look kind of funny sometimes too.

put your infant in a crib or high chair — or your toddler in a high chair — and you’ll see a new interaction: "play with toy". you can pick any toy from their inventory, and your baby will start playing with it.

base game compatible requires the xml injector works with toddlers and infants!

infants can play in cribs while sitting or lying on their back.

if you have the "growing together" expansion, infants need to unlock the grabbing milestone to use this interaction.

playing gives a strong fun boost and adds this moodlet to your baby:

there’s also a small surprise — a secret moodlet with a 20% chance to appear after the interaction ends :)

the mod also works with my invisible high chairs. you can place your baby anywhere — on a kitchen cabinet, table or bed — and let them play while you do your own thing nearby 🧡

Animation | Just a Kid #2

I still don’t have enough animations for kids, so I present to you part two of “Just a Kid!” It includes a bored lying pose on the bed, waking up from a nightmare, and a comforting conversation 🤞

*Sometimes it’s tricky to use paired animations for kids with the pose player because they might play at the same time. To avoid this, I first place the kids in any static pose, and then I use the animation.

Use the teleportation sculpture carefully. It must be placed at the center of the object and face one consistent direction.
