Смена образа нужна была мне. После того как я стала взрослой осознанной, мне стало жизненно необходимо сменить внешность, цели и работу. Встав рано утром, никому нечего не сказав, оделась и ушла в салон красоты. Придя туда, выбрав что я хочу с помощью профессионалов, меня стали перевоплощать. Работали все в несколько рук. Спустя пару часов, повернув меня к зеркалу, я увидела другую себя. Всегда боялась менять образ настолько кардинально.. После салона отправилась в ближайший торговый центр, выбрать новую одежду, в которой чувствовать себя стану по новому. Скупившись, нашла фотографа и записалась на фотосессию. �� вот новая я.. С новыми целями на жизнь, нашла новую работу, обучилась на программиста и сейчас занимаюсь дома с компьютера черновой работой. Взломы, разработки приложений и игр, засекречивание и много другого…

I needed a change of image. After I became a conscious adult, it became vitally necessary for me to change my appearance, goals and work. I got up early in the morning, without saying anything to anyone, got dressed and went to the beauty salon. Having arrived there, having chosen what I wanted with the help of professionals, they began to transform me. Everyone worked in several hands. A couple of hours later, turning me to the mirror, I saw a different me. I was always afraid to change my image so radically... After the salon, I went to the nearest shopping center to choose new clothes that would make me feel new. Having skimped, I found a photographer and signed up for a photo shoot. And here is the new me... With new goals for life, I found a new job, trained as a programmer and now I do rough work at home on the computer. Hacking, application and game development, classification and much more...

I said I might do this in the tags on the first post of last week's Chill Valicer Save update -- here's the full-sized images from the in-game photoshoot I had my trio do right before said update so I'd have at least one shot of them in the correct order and wearing the correct clothes for my "OT3 Math" Valicertine's Day post. And then I ended up using all three anyway because I couldn't decide which one I liked best. XD Did I really need to do this for a single silly tumblr post about how much I love my Valicer OT3? BACKGROUND —

Myata Berry was the laughing stock of Foxbury Institute. Although they boasted of an advanced science curriculum and "extraterrestrial theory" course, when she arrived she discovered that her extraterrestrial theories professor was a disgraced and at times eccentric and bordering on deranged, kept around solely to be a source of entertainment for the academic snobs that came and went within the faculty. But there was a certain charm to his lectures that brought in conspiracy theorists and fellow eccentric geniuses to his door. Myata was among them, quickly becoming his most prized pupil.

In spite of the board's best efforts to keep her out of the spotlight, she graduated with honors and more than a few research papers under her belt. She prided herself on her perfect grades, kept her academic rewards polished and on full display, and had a drive for success and competition that led to bitter and petty academic rivalries. It was all proof of her accomplishments in the face of adversity.

After taking a job at one of the leading labs in the country, Myata caught wind of rumors of alien abductions and other mysterious disappearances, strange weather conditions, odd behavior, and cagey government officials. At the very center of it all was Strangerville. Captivated, she packed everything up and relocated to the desert. She used her life savings to make the move and renovate a cheap trailer home (as she refused to live in anything that did not resemble at the very least a moderately expensive home, complete with an HOA and hardwoods throughout) and now resides there with her beloved cat, Peppermint.

With unusual neighbors and lots of talk of extraterrestrials and the supernatural, Myata is sure she'll fit right in. And she's bound and determined to unravel every mystery, no matter the cost.

For all intents and purposes, this is a "community project". I am willing and able to create and maintain the required override, the hundreds upon hundreds of unique 9-digit "IDs" for the "TagValueNumber", and the unique Strings, etc., but I can't possibly override every custom CAS item in existence.

Help me make this a reality, and also, keep your fingers crossed that the override doesn't break under the weight of the hundreds upon hundreds of entries I'm adding to it.

Oh hai, @sims4studioofficial. Can you add a BATCH FIX that <LOOKS THROUGH MY WISH LIST> allows us to add a "SpecialContent" TAG with a custom "TagValueNumber" to a whole folder of CAS mods? Even if you can't get the "CategoryNumber" to copy properly, a BATCH FIX will at least eliminate half the busywork.

🎓 HOW IT DO, PIKACHU:

If you're well-versed in creating or modifying CAS content, all you need to do is add a new TAG to your swatches - you can do just the first swatch, but you should do all swatches - and change the "CategoryNumber" to "127" (without the quotes), and change the "TagValueNumber" to the desired 9-digit "ID".

For everyone else who is new to this, instructional screenshots have been provided under the spreadsheet. Don't forget to grab the JSON files and toss them into "Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Custom Tags"to make life easier.

The Sims 2 Inspired UI for The Sims 4

After making my own UI override, I've been itching to look back in time and try to recreate The Sims 2 UI in TS4, and here it is!

I tried to capture the look & feel as best as possible, so I hope you can enjoy this mod and reminisce a bit c:

General Info

Changelogs Current version: updated for Businesses & Hobbies patch ✅ Latest mod update: 2 March 2025 PC/Mac: 1.113.277.xxxx Older game versions than the ones listed will not work with this mod.

UI overhaul in the style of The Sims 2's UI.

Over 500+ additional icons recolored for CAS & BuildBuy!

Sims 2 style cursor recolors.

Most text are kept in their original color, though they might get changed/updated down the line.

To install:

// Main mod

Before installing/updating, remove any old versions of Sims 2 UI whenever there's a new mod update and clear your caches.

Download & extract the zip file within your Mods folder.

Install the latest UI Cheats Extension mod and make sure it loads after the Sims 2 UI mod. Current version needed: v1.47

Main Menu Override - now separated from the main mod.

Loading screen: download only one loading screen file. Available in: 4:3 - 16:9 - 16:10 aspect ratio.

Opening screen: file to replace the intro TS4 screen. Choose the file that pertains to your game language.

TS2 Cursor: recolored TS4 cursor to match with TS2's cursor. Unfortunately, some cursors are missing their recolors (rotate cam & grab+arrows in CAS).

Romance Festival

He does this a lot

Flat decided to pop over for a visit, and this was a nice chance for his niece and nephew to get to know him better. For some reason though, Flat and Trigger had to talk in the bathroom? That's not weird in the slightest, guys. Not at all.

Speaking of, Trigger is now on the back-end of his phase, but the consequences of his actions are rearing their heads. He's quick to shout something out, or insult someone, and Buck has decided he has had enough of it, and starts dishing out time-outs left and right.

Susie is not spared from this either, and while in the midst of creating her abstract art on the kitchen linoleum, she also is forced to seethe in silence, to "think about what she did". She knows what she was doing, this is ridiculous!

The next day was more pleasant, because it was the Romance Festival! Mary Lu and Buck had never been, so they gave it a try.

Mary Lu sought out words of wisdom from the Romance Guru, but all she had to say was something about back massages? I guess that's a good thing?

After that, they renewed their vows, which is the closest they'll get to having a "proper" wedding, given that they just eloped in the main room of their house. It was very sweet, and extremely cute, and I liked it a lot.

Before the festival, Buck was feeling kinda flirty. After the festival, he was feeling extremely flirty, (idk how he functions at all around Mary Lu, given that he gets "very flirty" whenever he's around her) and so he decided to combine his interests: romance and the outdoors.

(i kid you not he had the want to woohoo in a bush for agessss like it would not go away and so i dragged them from San Myshuno all the way over to the Bluffs to make it go away) (also if you'll remember my weird woohoo comments from the last post, this time was a spectacular. i guess they're on the same page now?)

Once they were done with their fireworks, they got in the hot springs nearby to cool down for a moment.

The next morning met them with quite an issue: the bills have come in, and despite the fact that the estimate was around 1k Simoleons, the bills turned out to be five thousand Simoleons. They have never had that much money, and now wasn't any different.

Mary Lu had been feeling the strain of being the sole money-maker in the household for years, but with such hefty bills, she had a conversation with Buck, that someone had to help her, whether it be himself, or even Trigger.

Buck decided to take action immediately, by sorting through the decoration box, and sell anything they didn't need.

That didn't really help, seeing as they didn't have that much decorational stuff anyway.

Over the next few days, Mary Lu worked on her talking skills, and ended up asking Flo for a small loan, as well as another Sim she met, Mariana. By the end of the day, she had gained 1,000 Simoleons, but they were still a few thousand off, and they had lost their power.

Mary Lu then sold all sorts of knick-knacks she had on her, including that one future cube that she didn't even want anyway, and then she hoped for the best, and went to work. Maybe this would be a lucky day, and she would get a raise.

Unbeknownst to Mary Lu, Buck had planned a Spooky Day party, and he hoped that the guests took the lights-out effect as an aesthetic choice.

When Mary Lu got home, towards the end of the party, she had reason to celebrate along with everyone else: she'd brought home just enough to pay the bills, leaving them with 276 Simoleons, but at least they didn't get a visit from the repo-man.

The Sims 4 Main Menu Inspired by The Sims 2

I made an override for the newly refreshed main menu in TS4. The last played family shown as you open the game made me think of loading screen in The Sims 2, so i thought, why not?

The backgroud is heavily inspired by Sims 2 loading screen. I made the art myself and used the icons from The Sims 4, to match the game's aesthetic. The override only changes the background image in main menu.

This is the first time I made a CC to The Sims (and finished it) and tbh I have no idea if I did it right lmao, but at least I'm proud of myself.

28/01/2025 UPDATE

After latest update, the game started using backgrounds that are images downloaded via internet connection. They replace the default image or any main menu override.

However! LunarBritney made a MOD THAT DISABLES ONLINE BACKGROUNDS.

It will NOT conflict with my main menu override. I recommend downloading it!
