Please for the love of god stop buying “archival DVD” ESPECIALLY for anything you deem important!!!! There is no such thing as archival dvd, only dvd that is bad and dvd that is worse. You have about a year before dvd will start degrading and by 5 years it’s very noticeable.

If you’re getting any kind of home videos or photos of precious memories transferred from vhs or reels PLEEEEEEEASE. Just get a USB. And for the love of GOD back it up somewhere. A USB is not a permanent home for these!!!! It is a transportation vehicle! You can bring your luggage on to a bus but if you leave it when you get off the bus there’s no guarantee it will be there when you come back for it.
