"Suret güzelliğini ararken siret edebiyatı yapıyoruz. Yok bilmem iç güzellikmişte, insanın içimiymiş mühim olan falan. Kusura bakmasın kimse sureten hoşlanmadığı birinde siret güzelliği aramıyor. Olası bir vesile ile arkadaş olan ya da tanışmış birileri zamanla birbirini tanıdıkça ülfet olup, tanımadan hasıl olan muhabbetle karşındakini hoş görüyor. Bu gayet normal. Cucuteni-Trypillia Culture (formerly called Trepil Culture) lasted at least 2,000 years in Neolithic and Chalcolithic Ukraine, beginning around 5,000+ years ago. The present example is typical of their goddess figurines.

Poor protection of archeological treasures and rampant corruption means a great many of these figurines went into the open marketplace shockingly cheap (imagine six thousand year old goddesses available for $175 or so). If you search eBay (especially with the antiquated term Trepil) you can find Trypellian objects and figurines for sale affordably.

Trypillians are believed to have been a nearly egalitarian or perhaps even a matricentric society that had no male deity and a high respect for mothers, who we may guess at least shared if not dominating leadership roles. The culture ranged from Kyiv into the Balkans, through Moldova and Romania. They had medium to large sized villages up to 2,000 wood-and-mud dwellings with thatched roofs.

They grew crops, and were among the earliest East Europeans to domesticate cattle though eating very little meat. Their settlements tended to be on rivers such as the Dnieper, Dniester, Buhg, Siret, and Prut, and near the edges of forests where there was good soil for agriculture and defensible from invaders off the steppes.

Their goddess then would be a fairly standard lady of agricultural, both animal and human fecundity, plus defensive warfare, the household, and waterways -- as were the majority of Neolithic goddesses.

I'm very tempted to add that their goddess also oversaw crafts, as Trypellians were amazingly creative, with many of their inventions still fundamental to farming and small building construction. They were the first Europeans to use carts, pulled by oxen.

They never arrived at a potter's wheel however and their excellent pottery is simply moulded by hand, the equal in beauty to Vinca and any other prehistoric Europeans.

Their diet was dominated by grain porridge and bread of rye, wheat, millet, barley, hemp, and oats. They also grew grapes, peas, beans (pulses), and tree fruits such as hawberries and wild cherries. They additionally kept honey bees. They approached being vegetarian with less than 10% of their diet being meat and fish.

As there was no environmental reason for vegetarian preferences, it had to have been cultural, and related to their Goddess as protector of animals. They may have been the first people to believe bread symbolized civilization and meat-eating barbarianism, which notion informed much ancient Greek philosophy and worship of Demeter.

The look of their goddess was greatly standardized. With few exceptions they had stubby arms that reached outward, wide hips but overall fairly slim, feet coming together in a point, in erect positions or bent at the hips for a seated or lounging position. They were usually the right size and shape to be used as an olisbos in fertility rituals.

They were usually nude though sometimes with designs that could represent garments but more likely tattooing or scarification. Vulvas were overt triangles.

On occasion they had "pinched" faces which archeologists call bird-faces though the pinched nose needn't be a beak at all, it's impossible say. Occasionally the stubby arms were pierced perhaps for use as a necklace or sewn to garments so that She could be constantly near rather than left in the home or a shrine.

Un putain de théâtre d’ombres, des costumes repassés sur des vendeurs de vent. Pas des leaders, pas des âmes : des bonimenteurs de marché. “Venez acheter ma brosse magique pour vos chiottes morales !” Voilà leur vraie promo.

Moi aussi, j’ai gobé. Elevé à gauche, nourri au vote comme une vache à la traite. J’ai voté, j’ai revoté, et le réel m’a mordu la gueule.

La finance m’a réveillé. Le grand jeu du fric, du vrai. Pas d’idéologie. Pas de morale. Juste prendre.

La politique, c’était pour gérer le bien commun ? Tu donnes 20, 30, 40% de ton salaire… et tu récupères quoi ? Moins d’hôpitaux, moins d’écoles, moins de flics, moins de respect. Et plus pour d’autres, ailleurs, loin de toi.

Droite, gauche, centre, extrêmes ? Rien. Tout pue.

On te baise avec le sourire et tu dis merci.

Tu veux entrer en politique ? Oublie. Pas de réseau ? Pas d’argent ? Pas de maître pour te propulser ? Tu vaux rien. C’est pipé avant même que tu sois né.

L’État ? Une entreprise. Ton école, ton hôpital, ton commissariat ? Des numéros de SIRET. Ouvre les yeux : t’es une ressource, pas un citoyen.

Alors arrête de débattre dans les repas de famille.

Arrête de défendre l’indéfendable.

Arrête de tendre ta joue au couteau.

Va aimer. Va rêver. Va donner, sans calcul.

Ça, c’est politique. Le seul acte politique qui mérite encore ton souffle.
