Огляд одного із моїх альбомів для малювання. Його я привезла із Голландії, це подарунок мого друга, який мене дуже заохочував до малювання. Через тонкий папір я не могла малювати у ньому аквареллю і тому на початку робила тільки якісь прості замальовки олівцем, є навіть декілька з персонажами до книги в стилі фентезі. Потім у мене була довга перерва в акварелі і я почала малювати там кольоровими олівцями і пастеллю. На останній сторінці варіанти для логотипу творчої майстерні "Незабудка". 📚Many ask about my sketchbook. The truth is, it’s a 4th book of different origin and of different suppliers in more than half a year of my search of an ideal sketchbook. And I’m not 100% happy with any of them. 🗝This one in particular was made in Russia specifically for this sketch trip to Bali, the cover illustration by @delnara_el, and I’m not going to tell you by whom it was produced, because I wasn’t happy how the supplier answers questions. As per why their supposedly french cotton paper produces patched washes with backruns and eats blues and greens to half of their applied density, I’m not shy with pigment at all 🤷‍♀️ and yet it’s advertised as watercolor sketchbook. Let’s be honest right? 😔With this new culture of aggressively promoting products through “ambassadors” there’s very little truth left in reviews of the products. 🤷‍♀️And I found that when I tell suppliers that Yes, I can review the product, but I’ll be honest with my followers, they more than likely to change their mind. ❤️I’m always fair. I never take “presents” or items for review if I know I’m not the right target audience, so I won’t be happy using it. We all deserve being honest with each other. Here's my impression of the Moleskin #watercolor sketchbook (60 pages, 200 gsm / 135 lb paper). It's cold-pressed and acid free, which are all good things. My book is ~ 8.5 x 11, so there's plenty of space to divide up with artist's tape if you like your ASMR that way! It's a sturdy sketchbook with an elastic to bind it shut, but it has a problem if you apply repeated watercolour layers. The paper can't really stand up to that, and you'll start to get permanent imprints of certain colours in the paper grain (which is annoying). Stands up well to masking fluid though. Still, I'm looking for a better fit! Any suggestions?
