Riddle is tense, pacing back and forth with clenched fists. His usual strict, orderly demeanor cracks with worry.

"This is unacceptable! How could something so careless happen to Yuu? We must find the antidote or the remedy immediately!" But beneath his stern tone, he’s conflicted—he’s never been good at expressing affection, and the thought of a “true love’s kiss” unsettles him. Still, he leans down to gently brush Yuu’s hair away and murmurs, "If a kiss is what it takes… then I will do it. For your sake, Yuu." He places a cautious, respectful kiss on Yuu’s forehead, hoping it will awaken them.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona looks frustrated but hides his worry behind a mask of sarcasm. He slouches beside Yuu’s bedside, trying to seem indifferent but clearly shaken.

"Of all things to get knocked out by… a freakin’ spindle. Only you, Yuu." He clenches his jaw and mutters, "…Guess I gotta man up and kiss you, huh? Don’t get any weird ideas." When he finally leans over, his kiss is rough but tender, full of unspoken care, and he waits silently, hoping it works.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul’s expression is calm but tense. His calculating mind races for any magical or practical solution.

"Sleeping curses are a pain… but that ‘true love’s kiss’ trope is quite archaic, isn’t it?" He kneels down, gently taking Yuu’s hand in his, his voice low and genuine, "If that’s what’s needed to wake you, then allow me to be your prince charming." His lips brush Yuu’s fingers first, then their forehead, a surprisingly sweet gesture full of warmth and hope.

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim’s eyes brim with tears, his usual bright and carefree energy dimmed by worry.

"Yuu! You can’t stay asleep forever, okay? Please wake up!" He presses a soft kiss to Yuu’s cheek, whispering prayers to the seven, "You’re the brightest light in my world. I’ll wait for you to come back." Kalim’s warmth seems to fill the room, a beacon of hope against the darkness of the curse.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil stands poised and elegant, but the faint tremble in his hands betrays his inner turmoil.

"Such a tragedy… Yuu, you mustn’t leave us in this state." He delicately presses his lips to Yuu’s temple, eyes closed as if sending all his hopes and love through the kiss. "I promise, I will guard your heart until you awaken." His quiet strength offers comfort like a gentle lullaby.

Idia Shroud

Idia rarely shows emotions openly, but seeing Yuu in this vulnerable state cracks his usual cold exterior.

"D-damn it… this shouldn’t be happening." He sits close, wrapping Yuu’s hand in his, his voice a rare mix of desperation and softness, "If I have to kiss you to bring you back, then I will. Just… don’t leave me." His kiss is shy, awkward, but full of heartfelt longing — like a promise that he’ll always be there.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus’s usually stoic and majestic presence softens completely as he kneels by Yuu’s side.

"My beloved Yuu… awaken." His voice is a soothing rumble, and his hand gently cradles Yuu’s cheek. The kiss he gives is deep and reverent, a true love’s kiss filled with ancient power and pure devotion. "Return to me, my light."

Queen Oscar Marrying King Max and going from Australia to the Netherlands is quite a shook to the system. Him just sitting there looking annoyed at everything and everyone because the way of life is much more formal than back in Oz. Max having to drag it out of him what the problems are, maybe he gets a little tipsy at a dinner and starts whining about how much he misses cuddling he's fellow omegas

Oh pls! Oscar being so far from home and it's so so cold and Max tries to be nice but it isn't the same as being home with his friends and family and cuddle piles all day!

He is grumpy and a little unhappy but whenever max asks what he can do to make it better Oscar backtracks and doesn't really tell him because he wants to be a good queen and a good partner to Max.

Max eventually managing to drag it out of Oscar after Oscar gets tipsy at a party and he is determined to make things better! He cuddles a lot more with Oscar, gets him warm soft blankets, and then brings him some Omegas, eg maids or even one of his knights and just plonks them into the nest with Oscar skkd. It's only awkward for 5 min, then the Omegas are all purring and cuddling cos it's judt natural!

i enjoyed this ep. it felt more like a satan pit seq than a midnight one tho. i get that it is saying something about fear but im not sure what it is? if anyone can enlighten me i welcome the input lol best i can do is "having a purpose (job) makes u less scared of things"... or "fear makes u make dumb decisions"... but i dont know. it feels less laser-focused on a clear idea or take on fear than midnight was. (again maybe if it was more of an "among us" set up and they couldnt easily tell who had the creature behind their back... the theme of "sound" should be bigger as well. but it gets confusing with all rules and stuff)

i think it's less strong than midnight or waters of mars bc it's just like... wooo doctor who vs military figures... groundbreaking. while those eps had the tourism and scientific expedition angles. but oh well. best things i liked was the captain character, belinda being Competent, and the art direction. 7/10?
