so excited to finally share this piece since it is a part of emerald city comicon's official zine! i've had this idea stored in my brain for many months and the zine was the perfect opportunity to execute it, this year's grunge theme makes it kinda super fitting too ^0^

i like to think that this is Ragbag's first time attending a con and the only one prepared is Dez, so everyone kinda just follows them around hehe we've got Kendal in the back being indecisive while Gabe is hyping him up to buy some merch. Mason's found other cat people to take pics with, and Cal's just vibing with his free coffee :]

hiii I updated Kendal’s ref sheet :3 I was growing tired looking at his old one since it felt a little unfinished 😮‍💨 (also I gave him arms!) can’t believe I first fleshed him out almost 2 years ago but feel like I’m just getting started and getting somewhere with the gang 🥹 can’t wait to draw more of them!! me and da bf have been brainstorming :3c

and last but not least, meet Mason, ragbag's lead guitarist!! 💙 he's a man of few words, but you can count on him for a helluva good time :) he's got cousin privileges to bully Cal and is often sent on errand side quests with Dez hehe he's been cooking the longest but i'm happy with how he turned out and can't wait to develop him more with the rest of the band :')

the gang’s all here !! wanted to draw a lineup of everyone’s height difference hehe :] sadly i lost the file of all of them where they properly proportioned in full body so I can’t move them around again like in the cropped version 😭 i think the next things i wanna draw is an updated version of Kendal’s ref sheet and then a full illustration of the band hehe, then we can make some fun little mini comics and memes :)) yahooo!
