As China Retaliates for and Mocks Trump Tariffs, Eurasian Consolidation Accelerates
At the United Nations, that support echoed in Moscow's envoy bluntly accusing the British of lying through their teeth and inventing an absurd story to defame Russia. In a half hour speech, Vassily Nebenzia, the successor the late Vitaly Churkin, excoriated the UK's theory that the Russian state poisoned the Skripals as revenge for his betrayal of the country and as a message to would be defectors, asking rhetorically why Moscow let Skripal leave in a spy swap with Great Britain after eight years in prison.
Why, Nebenzia mockingly asked, would the Russians poison ex-GRU agent Sergei Skripal and accept the blowback days before a presidential election in Russia and months ahead of the World Cup? Nebenzia asked why if Moscow wanted Skripal dead, it would resort to a such an absurdly toxic and risky assassination weapon, and why British government sources have offered multiple versions of how and where the Skripals came into contact with the poison: at their door, inside Sergei's BMW sedan, or hidden inside breakfast kasha or bay leaf Yulia brought in her luggage from Moscow (British pundits and supposed experts having ridiculed multiple versions of the crime mentioned in Russian media as a replay of the 'conspiracy theories' Moscow offered to disavow its alleged involvement in the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight 17 over eastern Ukraine in 2014, without mentioning the multiplicity of Skripal poisoning theories anonymous UK government sources have presented to their own press). In an appeal to states less inclined to be under Washington's thumb at the UNSC, Nebenzia repeated Moscow's willingness to join in a genuine joint investigation into the Skripal case, which the British have rejected both at the UN and at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
According to Nebenzia's boss, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, speaking at a joint press conference in Ankara with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at least 20 countries in the world are capable of manufacturing 'novichoks', the nerve agents said to have been used to poison the Skripals:
Trump White House and John Bolton-led National Security Council's Plans to Reimpose Some Iran Sanctions, Even on a Delayed Basis, Likely to Exacerbate U.S./EU Tensions
The Iranians also criticized the Americans at the Moscow Security Conference, with Defense Minister Amir Hatami declaring, "They spare no effort to hinder the creation of the Central Asian security system, because they believe that any consolidation in the security sphere runs counter to the interests of retaining the strength of America’s power, standing and dominance in the world". From Syria to the South China Sea, everywhere it seems the Eurasians have had enough of the flailing, failing petrodollar empire's games and lies. And Trump, to the chagrin of the failed bipartisan Washington foreign policy establishment, is making the U.S. position weaker, not stronger vis a vis the Eurasians and pivotal U.S. trade partners in Europe, led by Germany.
Trump's threat to tear up the nuclear energy deal with Iran is bound to further alienate Paris and Berlin whose industries have signed lucrative contracts with the Iranians and do not need the uncertainty of facing reimposed American sanctions in retaliation for agreements already signed with Tehran. It's noteworthy that Germany, while going along with the expulsion of a few Russian diplomats at the end of March, did not succumb to the pressure from Capitol Hill and the State Department to drop the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline to be constructed beneath the Baltic Sea. The appointment of longtime neocon fanatic John Bolton as National Security Adviser nonetheless signals that the Trump Administration is very likely to go forward with at least a partial withdrawal from the Iran agreement, which included representatives of the EU, Russia and China, with predictable negative consequences for relations between Washington and Berlin. In this respect, the Atlanticist orientation of former Stasi informant and mass refugee exodus welcoming Chancellor Angela Merkel, herself barely able to form a compromise government, hardly matters anymore. Now in her fourth term, the childless former scientist turned great and greatly loathed frau Bundeskanzler is an irrelevant lame duck.
Petroyuan Introduction Makes China More Confident in Declaring Support for Russia in Cold War 2, Slapping Down U.S. Moves in Trump's Failing Trade War
Compared to the impact from accelerated de-dollarization and use of euros or perhaps yuan in Iranian trade with Europe, Trump's waffling on withdrawing U.S. troops from eastern Syria is geo-economically irrelevant. The main action as London Paul states on the RogueMoney Radio and X22 Report programs is happening with the petroyuan and how it is drawing more economies into the orbit of an increasingly confident China. The Chinese are still willing to negotiate with Washington, but it's clear with their retaliation  targeting $50 billion in soybeans, automobiles and other exports grown and manufactured in Trump voting red states that they've had enough. That in turn is prompting several U.S. Senators, some of whom like Ben Sasse were never enthusiastic in their support of Trump to begin with, to denounce the President's policies as counterproductive and harmful to American farmers:
Senator Ben Sasse, Republican of Nebraska, said Mr. Trump was “threatening to light American agriculture on fire.”
“Hopefully the president is just blowing off steam again, but if he’s even half-serious, this is nuts,” Mr. Sasse said. “Let’s absolutely take on Chinese bad behavior, but with a plan that punishes them instead of us. This is the dumbest possible way to do this.”
Even in a country of nearly 1.4 billion people, the recent downgrading by Dagong Global the Chinese rating agency (which competes with the discredited Standard and Poors and other Western outlets which touted mortgage backed securities as 'AA or AAA' before the 2008 financial meltdown) can hardly be coincidental with Beijing threatening to dump U.S. Treasuries. The fact that China has already spent the last decade quietly converting its vast holdings of USTs into gold, OBOR infrastructure in developing countries and hard assets abroad is well known to RogueMoney and Dr. Jim Willie the Golden Jackass listeners. But the 'official' figures regarding China's UST holdings as of January 2018 remained in excess of a trillion dollars, giving Beijing greater leverage if the great Trump trade war escalates.
Xi Cleverly Uses North Korea Talks to Make Trump Look More Presidential While It Defeats His Initiatives in the Trade War -- Owing to Decades of U.S. Manufacturing Outsourcing to China
With the visit of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to Beijing, Xi has also demonstrated that China holds all the cards in deescalating the North Korea nuclear standoff and promoting reunification oriented projects like a Russian gas pipeline linking the North to South Korea. Kim has gotten the message with the expansion of highways and People's Liberation Army presence on the Chinese side of the North Korean border that he is not personally indispensable to Beijing, but his stated willingness to meet directly with President Trump puts this White House in Xi's debt. Those chips at the trans-Pacific bargaining table will be cashed in as we shall see in the coming weeks. Bringing Kim Jong Un to direct negotiations, while denounced as legitimating the North Korean dictator, is the one feather in Trump's 4-D chess cap he can present to supporters as proof that his brilliant plan is working.
For now, while Trump is flailing away at the Chinese and being denounced across the legacy media spectrum from so-called liberal Democrats to Never Trump-er neocon and globalist Republicans, the Washington Establishment cannot muster a coherent set of alternatives. The Swamp can only demand that U.S. troops remain in Syria forever, European allies who've already quietly bought into China's New Silk Road be brought back into line, and Russia be denounced in ever more shrill language. Like the Duke brothers at the end of the 1983 movie Trading Places, all the dollar dependent globalists can do is bellow who they are and demand that the machines be turned back on. Or applaud speeches from the soon to be former National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster at the Atlantic Council on his way out the door before getting a job at one of their irrelevant non-think(ing) tanks.
The Russian Analyst expects severe economic pain ahead for Americans, with our country much closer to the dollar collapse then when we started writing for RogueMoney over three and a half years ago. As former RM guest Peter Schiff said recently, the incentive for the 'deep state' to crash the monetary hypoxia suffering paper markets Trump has foolishly staked a great deal of his reputation as a doer and economic genius to trigger a 'blue wave' bloodbath in the 2018 midterms is strong. However, the World War III scenario many of the 'black pilled' among us like my Swiss White Russian friend The Saker have worried about, appears to be off. If for no other reason than Uncle Sam and many of its partners are soon going to be too broke to pay for a global conflict, and China and Russia have demonstrated their unity in preparation for any desperate military moves the imploding Anglo-American empire could possibly make.

Porton Down Unable To Prove Novichok Was Made In Russia
He further stated that establishing its origin required “other inputs”, some of them intelligence-based, that the government has access to.
Aitkenhead added: “It is our job to provide the scientific evidence of what this particular nerve agent is. We identified that it is from this particular family and that it is a military grade, but it is not our job to say where it was manufactured.”
He went on to say that there is no known antidote to Novichok, and that none was given to either of the Skripals.
Aitkenhead would not comment on whether the laboratory had developed or kept stocks of Novichok, but dismissed the suggestion from Russia that the agent used to poison the Skripals could have come from Porton Down.
“There is no way anything like that could have come from us or left the four walls of our facility,” said Aitkenhead. We refer you to our recent article and particularly question 7.
https://www.thesiriusreport.com/analysis-opinion/russia-demands-answers-uk-skripal/
The above statement by Aitkenhead is interesting for a number of reasons
Porton Down had not been able to definitively prove that the Novichok nerve agent was made in Russia. So what intelligence does the UK government therefore possess to implicate Russia?
If there is no known antidote for Novichok then how exactly has Yulia Skripal made a recovery from a nerve agent that can be up to 8 times more potent than VX?
Why would Aitkenhead not comment on whether Porton Down had developed or kept stocks of Novichok?

Russia Demands Answers From UK Government In the Skripal Case
Russia’s Questions
Why has Russia been denied the right of consular access to the two Russian citizens, who came to harm on British territory?
What specific antidotes and in what form were the victims injected with? How did such antidotes come into the possession of British doctors at the scene of the incident?
On what grounds was France involved in technical cooperation in the investigation of the incident, in which Russian citizens were injured?
Did the UK notify the OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) of France’s involvement in the investigation of the Salisbury incident?
What does France have to do with the incident, involving two Russian citizens in the UK?
What rules of UK procedural legislation allow for the involvement of a foreign state in an internal investigation?
What evidence was handed over to France to be studied and for the investigation to be conducted?
Were the French experts present during the sampling of biomaterial from Sergei and Yulia Skripal?
Was the study of biomaterials from Sergei and Yulia Skripal conducted by the French experts and, if so, in which specific laboratories?
Does the UK have the materials involved in the investigation carried out by France?
Have the results of the French investigation been presented to the OPCW Technical Secretariat?
Based on what attributes was the alleged “Russian origin” of the substance used in Salisbury established?
Does the UK have control samples of the chemical warfare agent, which British representatives refer to as “Novichok”?
Have the samples of a chemical warfare agent of the same type as “Novichok” (in accordance to British terminology) or its analogues been developed in the UK?
Additional Questions
On what basis did the UK government come to the conclusion that Novichok was used to poison the Skripals almost immediately after the incident whereas the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will need to analyse the agent for at least three weeks to reach a conclusion.
What precisely is the Scotland Yard investigation seeking to determine?
Has the identity of the individual or individuals responsible for the attack been determined?
Given the potency of Novichok why were UK citizens advised to clean potentially contaminated surfaces and personal items with e.g. baby wipes?
Why are there such inconsistencies in the UK media in terms of their reporting of the facts surrounding the poisoning of the Skripals?
Would you concede that it is perfectly feasible for any nation or individual  to acquire or manufacture a nerve agent?
Can the UK government provide categorical assurances that Porton Down have established that the agent used was produced in Russia?
Can you clarify precisely what the statement that the poison used was “a military grade nerve agent of a type developed by Russia” means?
Why has the UK government consistently refused to cooperate with the Russian government with respect to the Skripals?
Given the OPCW confirmed that Russia has destroyed all its chemical weapons, at what point did the UK government inform the OPCW that they were in possession of intelligence which refuted that statementt made by the OPCW?
Can you confirm whether or not there was any direct or indirect connection between Sergei Skripal and Christopher Steele?
Why would Russia grant Yulia Skripal a visa to come to the UK and then allegedly be involved in the attempted killing of her on UK soil?
Please can you clarify why it appears that a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust stated in a newspaper article that “no patients have experienced nerve agent poisoning in Salisbury and there have only ever been three patients with significant poisoning.”?
How can the UK government make accusations against the Russian state whilst failing to provide the evidence to support their claims to Moscow?

Clearing the Fog of War: Lies, Damn Lies, Damn British Lies
As the fog of last week’s actions lifts, several aspects of our present situation are much, much clearer. While the Anglo-Americans fall all over themselves to stupidly declare they have caged Trump, it is very clear that their claimed victory is pyrrhic, arrogantly delusional, and temporary. They were reckless and the blowback potential is enormous and revolutionary for the world, if the American people now join Lyndon LaRouche’s call to “cancel the British Empire.” At no time since Franklin Roosevelt declared his intention to end British colonialism, has the Anglo-Dutch Empire been so fragile and exposed. Here are the relevant features of our present situation:
1. The Syria chemical attack hoax, the Skripal poisoning hoax in Britain, and the British-inspired coup against our President are all one British strategic package. Britain, with its long-time poodle France in tow, is now out to lead the Western world in challenging Russia and China, who are claimed to be practicing something called “totalitarian capitalism.” Here is how British imperial scribe Allister Heath described the British motive for the poisoning hoaxes in Salisbury and Syria in the March 14 London Sunday Telegraph:“We need a new world order to take on totalitarian capitalists in Russia and China… Such an alliance… would dramatically shift the global balance of power, and allow the liberal democracies finally to fight back. It would endow the world with the sorts of robust institutions that are required to contain Russia and China… Britain needs a new role in the world; building such a network would be our perfect mission.”Across the pond, as they say, a similar foundational statement was made, at the very same time, by 68 former Obama Administration officials [note the numerological coincidence with the German Marshall Fund supported Hamilton 68 disinfo group which blames any anti-Establishment Twitter trends on 'Russian trolls' and seeks to conflate alleged Kremlin bot activity with the opinions of Trump supporters online-- JWS] who have formed a group called National Security Action, aimed at securing Donald Trump’s impeachment and attacking Russia and China.
2. The Russians now say they have incontrovertible proof that the White Helmets, an aid organization associated with Al-Qaeda and funded to the tune of millions by the British government and U.S. AID, staged the chemical attack in Douma, Syria, at the direct urging of London. The proof includes photographs and intercepts. At the same time, an independent Swiss laboratory working with the OPCW has stated that the poison used on the Skripals was something called BZ, an agent never developed in Russia but residing, instead, in the chemical weapons programs of both the U.S. and the UK. These claims are fully consistent with independent analysis LaRouchePAC has provided over the past 10 days. (See “There Was No Chemical Attack in Syria” and “Assad's Chemical Weapons: Another British Fairy Tale.”)
3. Already in Great Britain there is an enormous popular reaction against these lies, coming from the Labour Party and the Brexit movement. They appropriately compare the “classified” evidence for the poisoning hoaxes to the lies leading to the disastrous Iraq War. Similarly, here, the forgotten Americans who elected Trump to end this nonsense, joined with LaRouchePAC and protested loudly against the Syria attack all last week. That protest, by all accounts, pulled the world back from the nuclear brinkmanship and posturing fomented by Britain, France, and their Democratic Party and neocon colleagues in the U.S.
4. A major driving force in this situation is the impending financial collapse of the Wall Street and City of London financial centers. Far from practicing “totalitarian capitalism,” China, joined with Russia, is on a massive infrastructure building and economic development project joined by over 100 other nations in the world. It is the largest infrastructure building project ever undertaken by human beings and it has the express aim of ending poverty and raising living standards throughout the planet. China and Russia are also dedicating significant portions of their budgets to space exploration and fundamental scientific discovery. This is the “big thinking” we in the United States used to engage in. It echoes the American system of political economy. “Totalitarian capitalism” it is not. If President Trump accepts China’s invitation to join the United States to the Belt and Road Initiative, the Anglo-Dutch Empire, rather than Donald Trump, will be consigned to the dustbin of history.
5. The situation remains fraught with danger. Nikki Haley and John Bolton have committed the United States to a military response any time a terrorist in Syria can stage another phony chemical attack. Ukraine is another possible trigger point by those engaged in treason against our country and our President. It is also now clear that a desperate Robert Mueller is out to turn Donald Trump’s lawyer into state’s evidence against his client, a tactic the filthy Mueller has repeatedly used. Mueller’s tactic, this time, just may have eliminated the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Mueller is desperate because Russiagate has blown up, Comey is a flop, and whole sections of the Obama Justice Department are now racing to expose one another’s crimes.
So, as the fog clears, we find ourselves actually on the edge of victory. The question will be decided by the courage of the people of the United States, in demanding and acting to end the coup, to expose the perfidious British lies, and insisting on getting on with rebuilding the country and the planet. Lyndon LaRouche warned constantly against pragmatism in just this situation. Citing the words of St. Paul, LaRouche reminds us, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12). Be a force for the righteous and the good.
Join us in this battle. Tell the President to investigate and fully expose the perfidious French and British lies. Call the White House (202) 456-1111. Tell the Congress, “End the coup or your career will end at the ballot box in 2018!” (202) 224-3121
