Jay Jenkins was born on October 12, 1977. His stage name is Young Jeezy. He is a popular rapper who grew up in Macon, Georgia, and currently lives in Atlanta. Young Jeezy, who was formerly a member of Boyz N Da Hood from Bad Boy Records, is currently signed with Def Jam Records.

He is often referred to as the Snowman by himself and others. This nickname is said to be related to his prior job as a cocaine dealer, though Young Jeezy says that it is just his alter ego. This nickname inspired Jeezy to produce his own t-shirt line with a simple picture of a snowman with an angry face. While the t-shirts have grown in popularity, some high schools have banned the shirts because of the drug connotation undertones.

Young Jeezy has had a couple run-ins with the law. In 2005, Jeezy was charged for not making timely payments of child support for his ex-girlfriends child. Jeezy also allegedly has ties to a criminal group known as The Black Mafia Family. The FBI is currently investigating the group for organized crime and their relations with another gang, the Crips. Jeezy has appeared in many popular hip-hop songs in 2005 and has collaborated with artists such as Akon, Gucci Mane, Christina Milian, Jay-Z, and Fat Joe. His song with the latter two, Go Crazy, popularized Jeezy. Jeezy has his own record label called Corperate Thugz Entertainment (CTE), with several up and coming artists already singed on including himself, Slick Pulla, Lil Will, Bloodraw, and a group that goes by U.S.D.A. Jeezy is reportedly dating R&B singer Keyshia Cole. Jeezy reportedly plans to record a mix tape, Best of Both Hoods, with rapper Juelz Santana.

Rural or urban: In the middle(I lived my whole life in the city, but Rural is way more peaceful.)

Do you enjoy politics? As I’m sure it’s like for most. Politics is extremely stressful, however, I consider myself a political mind and so long as I can converse with intellectuals who’s aim is to actually find the meaning of things and genuinely cares about what they believe in and not pushing some ridiculous agenda I can enjoy politics...to an extent. 

That being said I have many beliefs that I believe the world is just not ready to hear and would love to get to a place they’d be open to it one day. It’s something I want to do for my people just as great leaders and the past. To be so forward thinking we’re ahead of our time. Rather than people getting ahead with digressing thoughts and attitudes.

Classical or romantic? If these words can be defined I could give a more definitive answer. I’m terrible with romance, yet I’m a bit of a romantic at heart sometimes. Classical as in old fashioned and traditional? I’m like that too, but I that that was romantic. Chivalry and all that.

Do you have a type? Definitely, though I suppose it depends on how you look at it. Pretty much every girl I’ve been in a romantic relationship with was latina, but what I like to think of as my “type” are girls with wild natural looks and slim but curvaceous figure.

As a side not I think all women are beautiful, and try not to discriminate, I find thick or even what some refer to as “plus-size”, I don’t know the respectful way of saying it, excuse me for that, aesthetically pleasing as well.

What are your aspirations? To be a great leader and warrior. I want to lead my people into a new era where we don’t shun and detest so much what is really part of our culture. I want to be a soldier for my people, like my grandfather. I want to use my real life experiences to inspire others through writing fiction loosely based on true events, maybe give people better undrestanding of the way I see life as a whole. I also want to depict things my eyes see in my art. 

What is your philosophy of life? As someone who loves philosophy, I think this is a great question. I think life and  death are the same thing. Living is just walking your own path, the end of that path is death. Death is the only thng that is certain. There is just so much more conflict in the world constantly, I see war eveywhere and not only that but we have new ways to battle.

Cowards can attack people and keep their identities hidden rather than do actual battle. We now can employ people on the other side of the planet to interfere in our own affairs to stack the odds in favor of people that don’t deserve to win Change is inevitable. You just have to decide in what what.

Overall I believe in honor, love, and respect. I believe people should fight their own battles, be allowed to face their demons without judgment, and be leaders instead of followers. What some don’t know it takes a great leader to know when to follow. It’s not wrong to follow, but people seem to get lost and forget whats important. They forget what they stand for because “winning” or “being right” is more important than the principles they uphold. I believe in standing by those who stand by me.

Jeezy is fresh off of the release of TM104 which marks his ninth and alleged final album, although we'll see if he actually retires. Jeezy had an extraordinary career that stems back to the late 90s when he was going by Lil J. Since then, he's made his imprint in hip-hop and pop culture and will forever be remembered for his efforts.

Yung Miami hit the 'Gram to show her appreciation for Jeezy today. The City Girls rapper shared two screenshots of what she's vibing to on her playlist. The first was a Thug Motivation 101 classic, "Tear It Up" ft Lloyd and Slick Pulla. "Mood," she wrote. "Man bring that old jeezy back!!" She posted another flick of Jeezy's "Mr. 17.5" from The Inspiration and declared him the GOAT. "BEST RAPPER DEAD OR ALIVE," he wrote.

Unfortunately for Yung Miami, it might not happen at any time in the near future. The rapper's been expanding his business deals. Over the summer, the rapper announced that he had struck a partnership deal with a telecommunications company Figgers Communications to make wireless services more accessible. Jeezy went from trapping to transitioning into a future in the telecommunications world. 

"There was a point in my life where I wasn't able to pay the phone bill," Jeezy said in a press release. "Now as a businessman and entrepreneur to be able to partner with Freddie, someone who overcame similar life obstacles, and to give people more access to handheld technology at an affordable price, it's a truly blessing."
