Theo cracked a smile at her reassuring him there were other movies other than horror. "It's not my go-to but I will watch them if that's what you want to put on," he said politely, it would be at her house after all!

He nodded to her confirmation he should bring popcorn, he was sure he could manage to get his hands on some. He could always sell a few things if he needed to or do some extra weekend work like ask the neighbours if they wanted their lawns mowed. Not that he had much experience with that but it's what people did in the comic books, had to be money in it somewhere.

"Yeah, let's go," he encouraged for going to see the FBI building, he was far more excited than he was letting on but was already picking up his bike to go. "I- uh, I'll have to follow you." He smiled to her a little sheepishly as he had no real idea where to go. "They won't kick us out or arrest us if we go?" There was no chance his parents could afford bail!

Unaware of Theo's hesitations and worries, Cassandra was happy to hear he'd like to watch movies at her house. "Amazing," she exclaimed with a smile, "and we have other movies too if you're not a fan of horror." It wasn't her favorite genre, but it was Mina's, and she was happy to watch these movies with her. But if Theo liked action better, she wanted him to have fun!

"Sounds like a plan." Her kitchen's cupboards were filled with snacks, but she knew it was polite to bring food when invited to someone else's house, and she didn't want to make it awkward by telling him not to bring anything.

"Should we go see the FBI building then?"

leaves their dirty clothes on the floor - neither of them are really that messy. anything that goes on the floor in their home is in danger of getting covered in fur or claimed as a spot to sleep by a pet, so it's best to put dirty clothes straight in the laundry basket.

forgets to run the dish washer - archie!! it's his one job in the kitchen and he still forgets to do it. rosa leaves him sticky notes bc they help him remember things.

pumps gas for the car - most of the time archie does.

drives when they’re going somewhere - i'd say most of the time rosa drives. archie gets easily distracted but also just doesn't enjoy driving that much. rosa drives and archie is in charge of snacks and pointing at random shit out the window.

rearranges the furniture - rosa is the mastermind behind the way their house looks. she has a better eye for that sort of thing. archie, however, is very helpful when it comes to the actual furniture moving.

falls asleep with the TV on - rosa. archie thinks it's really cute and always covers her with a fluffy blanket and kisses her on the forehead. sometimes he carries her back to their bedroom and tucks her in there.

gets to use the bathroom first - that would be archie. he's in and out pretty fast so it might as well be him.

decides the temperature for the ac/heater - rosa. archie forgets they even have an ac.

sets up holiday decorations - they do it together, of course!! these two are the types to get very excited when it comes to holidays. there is a lot of fun and laughter decorating in their house. archie likes to put mistletoe all over the house as an excuse to kiss rosa at random moments.

leaves the lights on - archie. how many times can i say in one post that he's forgetful? he's working on it, i promise.

uses the bathroom with the door open - honestly, i don't think either of them care at this point. they've known each other too long and it's just not a big deal.

fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber) - well, archie likes to attempt fixing it himself and rosa always has her phone out ready to call as soon as he gives up.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

blake likes going on drives on her motorcycle around town especially if it’s cool out. she’s such a cliche but i love her.

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

ngl this question is such a random one wasn’t sure how to answer this. hmmm if she’s around people she would just ask them? she’s shameless and not easily embarrassed so it wouldn’t be weird. if she was alone, she would use whatever that was lying around to do the job.

What causes them to feel dread?

blake isn’t too scared of many things but i would say she dreads the day that she has to say goodbye to her grandma. the two are pretty close and thinking about not seeing her again is upsetting.

Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe?

an interesting question! originally, she was an oc i made to give a reason for my mind blind mc in quitting the band she joined during the two-year break before starting her training as miv agent. she was never that fleshed out back then so technically smalltownverse is her canon universe? tldr; the answer is yes lol. although, there are a few pictures of her face claim that makes me think with some revamping she could be cool in murderverse

Hellooo, so, I’m sharing my small town verse oc’s so far:

💃 Frankie (Francesca) Van Herten (fc: Madelyn Cline):

♡ Frankie used to be the captain of the volleyball team back in high school, member of the theater club and took classes at the dance studio (which is what really makes her happy)

♡ She came back to town two months ago after graduating from college (she studied marketing after her parents insistence)

♡ She is determined and strong willed. Someone who likes being direct and taking the initiative (except she has problems doing this when it comes to her parents).

♡ Frankie is also a social butterfly and she genuinely cares about the people around her, especially those who are important for her.

♡ Frankie's father is a doctor and her mum is a lawyer. They both used to be big names back in the city but moved to the town when Frankie was around 7 years old after an important case caught the media attention and the resolution left Frankie’s mum with negative press. They both are really talented at what they do, her mum just got really bad luck, so that’s why they moved to a town where they knew a lawyer was needed.

♡ Her parents really care about her but they are really dedicated to their work and not always present. However they insist she needs to move to the city if she wants to become “someone important in the world” and are really pushy about it. Frankie has tried to explain multiple times she doesn’t want that, she loves the life in the small town and what would make her really happy is to teach dancing (they obviously pretend not to listen lol)

♡ Despite their insistence to move to the city right after she graduates, she has been able to convince them about staying 1 year in the town while she works for her mother office before moving away

♡ Frankie has had a crush on her friend Daphne older brother since she first saw him at the age of 11 but is convinced he sees her as nothing other than her “little sister friend” even after she comes back from college (please they are SO dumb, someone punch them in the head). She tries to convince herself she has moved on, but “sure, hon”

♡ Currently looking for more friends! Maybe some girls from the dance studio or volleyball team?

🧠 Mina (Wilhelmina) Kyung (fc: Rosé):

♡ Mina is the textbook definition of smart at brains, dumb at heart AND dumbass lesbian lol

♡ She is an extremely nice girl and the perfect daughter; has no problem in helping others when needed. However she can be a little awkward at first, getting a little tongue tied at times but tries to play it cool ✌️ (yes I inspired her a little in Amy from Booksmart lol)

♡ Sometimes that comes as a problem because she works at the local diner and she can’t get tongue tied for too long if she wants to take people orders. But she needs the job to make ends meet so she will pull through

♡ She had perfect grades at high school and was probably her class valedictorian. After it she had multiple scholarships from Ivy League colleges but had to decline all of them when she found out her mum was sick (her father abandoned them when Mina was around 5 years old)

♡ All of these things put a lot of frustration inside of her, but tries to push it away in favor of her mother’s sake.

♡ She really loves photography, her most valuable possession is her grandma’s old camera. Probably also knows how to play the guitar lol

♡ When the old family car breaks down, good girl Mina gets more than she bargained for when the only available employee is a cute girl who also happens to be a gang member 😳

🎨 Dani (Danielle) Gwon (fc: Seulgi):

♡ She is the new person from the city who moves into town. Everyone can tell she is from the big city and wonder why someone like her would move to such a small town

♡ Dani is a talented artist. She created a stunning art piece as a present for her fiance, however he copyrighted it, sold it (which made him rich) and dumped her.

♡ This obviously shook Dani’s entire life. She was completely co-dependent of him and this broke her into million pieces, falling into depression and making feel empty and without inspiration. 

♡ Despite trying to pretend everything is okay, the situation clearly left her really closed off and scared of getting hurt again

♡ The art piece was talked about in almost every media outlet with her ex-fiance face appearing everywhere; she needed to escape all the memories the city held

♡ Dani remembered seeing some time ago a painting about a certain place that gave her the feeling of peace and happiness, after some investigation she discovered it was this town. Hoping to find that peace and hopefully get inspired, she decided to move.

♡ Little did she know she would be meeting the artist of said art piece running his own art gallery! 👀 

♡ Currently looking for someone to become her friend!

⛸️ Sam (Samantha) Yung (fc: Jinsoul):

♡ Sam’s father is the town sheriff and her mum owns multiple buildings all around town (so she is basically a landlady?)

♡ Sam has taken advantage of her parents position her entire life, becoming used to getting out of trouble easily. This has made her entitled, manipulative,  reckless and vain, as she is used to getting away with what she wants

♡ I know this is a coast town, but it has an ice rink and Sam has been doing figure skating there since she was 5 years old. Right now she works there part time as a coach and choreographer after an accident

♡ She takes dance classes at the local studio and is in college on the neighboring town

🕊️ Would your OC ever get married or are they already wed? If they’re married, describe what their wedding was like! If not, describe their ideal wedding (or do this if you feel like it anyway!)

Sage hasn’t really thought about marriage like ever. She’s not the type of person who thinks that marriage is the end goal in a relationship and doesn’t see it as a necessity. That being said, she’s not opposed to it. If her partner decides that they want to get married in the future, she’s more than happy to get married to them. In terms of an ideal wedding, Sage would probably prefer something small and simple. She would probably only invite her family and closest friends.

🦋 If your OC could change everything (or just something) about their life would they? What would they change? What do they think would happen if they did? What would their loved ones think?

I don’t think that Sage would necessarily change anything about her life. She’s quite content with it. A lot of people often tell her that she should move to the big city as it offers a lot more opportunities but she’s happy living in Crescent Bay. Sage isn’t really the type of person who dwells on the past or the what-ifs. She believes that things happen for a reason.

👀 Describe your OC through the eyes of another person! (bonus + specify who)

Sage Lockhart is an incredibly smart, witty, and determined person. She is extremely skilled in her craft of photography and her drive will surely bring her success in her chosen field. However, these very same traits can also possibly lead to Sage’s downfall if she is not careful. Sage’s intense competitiveness and need to be the best at everything often leads her to drive her peers away instead of embracing the opportunity to work collaboratively with them. I advise Sage to become more of a team player and to have a more open mind as it surely will benefit her in the long run. (One of her professors from college, maybe.)
