Reusable mold making material and casting

One more challenge from Smart Art Box!! :D Who doesn't like to try new art supplies?! Feels like Christmas day when I receive these boxes...full of amazing products and new techniques! For that, a big thanks to Smart Art Box for sponsoring this video!

Composimold was the most exciting product in this box. It's reusable and captures amazing details from the pieces we want to reproduce. I can't wait to try it with resin!! The most challenging product was the ComposiStone. But I also learned a few things about this product: It dries very fast after mixed with the water... so it's better to make small amounts...just the amount needed for the project. Also is very important to respect the timings to remove the pieces from the mold...they need to be dry so you can manipulate them without accidents ;) All the products from this box are new to me and was very pleasant to try them and learn new things!! I loved the the DecoArt acrylic paints, the brushes and the owl is just adorable!!

Composimold foi o produto mais emocionante nesta caixa. É reutilizável e captura detalhes surpreendentes das peças que queremos reproduzir. Mal posso esperar para experimentar com resina!! O produto mais desafiador foi o ComposiStone. Mas eu também aprendi algumas coisas sobre este produto: Seca muito rápido depois de misturado com a água ... por isso é melhor fazer pequenas quantidades ... apenas a quantidade necessária para o projeto.  Também é muito importante respeitar os tempos para desmoldar as peças ... elas precisam estar secas para que você possa manipulá-los sem acidentes;) Todos os produtos desta caixa são novos para mim e foi muito agradável experimentá-los e aprender coisas novas!! Adorei as tintas acrilicas da DecoArt, os pinceis e a corujinha é simplesmente adorável!!
