#just had to pick my sister up because some dude on an electric scooter smashed into her windshield #I’m so shocked he didn’t die #he was totally at fault and blew a stop sign #it was in front of his appartment and all his homies came out and started screaming at my sister even though it was his fault #the cop was so fucking condescending to me and my sister and was like trying to explain how we shouldn’t leave the car there #I’m like bitch I grew up here #I know how shitty this city is #I called triple A and had it towed to our house #and we taped the window in the freezing cold #and my sisters blood is all over the inside of the car because there was so much glass #and the dude went to the hospital in an ambulance for a concussion #anyways I have 8 dollars in my bank account because my insurance wouldn’t cover my root canal and I can’t borrow money from anyone #I’m stressed out as fuck #god help me #god help us

I get emotional thinking about cicadas now, I guess that’s not normal but can there please be a heaven where every cicada smashed, crushed, and eaten can go to. Where the trees climb on into the clouds and there’s no parasites waiting to catch them and their eggs off guard, and the soil is always right for their brood to burrow and rest, and the trees are all breathing in sync and patching themselves up everytime their branches are used for eggs. now im thinking about how madonna is actually one of the scariest drivers. not only because of her lackadaisical approach, proclivity toward being on her phone/eating/applying lipstick/doing anything but driving WHILE driving, and her constant brake-checking ( ... ) but because she for sure has an aluminum baseball bat in the back seat, and while not especially inclined toward road rage ( she doesn't really GAF on the road ), if someone starts riding her ass? shouting at her from the next lane? flipping her off or harassing her??? just wait until she catches you. and she will catch you
