Favorite Connie headcanon?

My favorite headcanons shifts to which one every now and then, recently it's design-wise!

I really like the headcanon that Connie's hair gained a more spiky/sharper silhouette as she got older. I make her eyebrows angular too to push it.

It's not something I draw her in all the time, but that's my headcanon.

Y’know, I feel like we don’t give the writers enough credit when it comes to Soren

So often when a character is the “comic relief”, they start off with dynamic personalities and then lose them as the season go on (looking at you Cat Valentine and Steve Palchuk), but not Soren

No, Soren somehow manages to jump between being comic relief and genuinely serious and caring seamlessly. And it’s all the same character, too! He doesn’t feel like he’s switching personalities they’re just other facets of who he is and it’s amazing!!!

I hope you dont mind but, you're very good at drawing two people blending together, do you have any advice or tips for drawing something as simple as hugs?

use references!!! and when you draw figures interacting closely, some (or lots) of the body will get covered up by the other, but i think it really helps with posing to draw the complete figure. being able to see the whole form helps u gauge the 3d space the body occupies and how it should rest on/push/pull/interact with other objects

and from a composition standpoint, i think being able to break up each element and see its whole shape makes it easier to decide what to stylize or keep, and where it's OK to bend or break anatomy haha

Chris Pratt came back from one season break on parks and rec having lost 50 lbs for whatever his first marvel movie was and the light was gone from his eyes for the rest of the show. i haven't looked it up but I assume he got into Hillsong around the same time. it's actually startling how stark the difference is before and after. it's such a tragedy too because chubby golden retriever jack black impersonation chris pratt was actually fun and charming and the marvel guy makes you want to peel your skin off
