This year we chose a 9’ Charlie Brown style tree @wetooktothewoods...1’ taller than last year...I thought it was difficult getting a tree stand last year that looked pretty but this year same issue...still using last years’ idea....I have had this basket for years .....put 3 stone blocks from @homedepot around the interior circumference basket bottom , plus a large river stone in the center ...then we place the tree stand on top of all that with the tree already in the stand...I wanted the stand stabilized so I placed many large smooth river stones on the stand to make sure it did not tip over, which you could see..I liked the look so much I just added a bit of burlap here and there , cut into napkin sized squares and then randomly stuffed in between the stones...turned out very pretty ..I’m glad I have it figured out for next year..I see basket “collars” , to cover the tree stand are still popular in catalogs but i just made my own with what i had .. #deborahgibsondesign #christmastreesrand #smoothriverstones #burlap https://www.instagram.com/p/B5i-6CpD7Io/?igshid=12qacoer9q12h
