Summary:

Shore leave has just ended for The Enterprise and her crew, but the end of that time comes with an important mission. Hosting 2 Veritas officials of Earth for 2 months, and then their transport back to Earth. Veritas carries a great presence on Earth, the oldest known institution, highly prestigious, invite only. Working above all governments on Earth for as long as it had been recorded in history. The Library has a job to do, a job only its best Librarian and Guardian can do; they must prove that magic is restricted to Earth.
