i think im noticing something interesting
#or im just so wrong#im speculating i just wanna stress that im guessing and going off my personal observations#but it feels like anime and anime adjacent stuff tend to have the most fanart?#and for stuff thats further removed from anime....ppl who were into anime at some point usually are the ones drawing still#im only saying this cause i like to dabble in 5 million activities#so im in a various spaces that dont overlap much with the type of ppl in their fandoms#u know i gotta get my self insert romance fix#so its like oh anime leaning VNs get a lot if fanart of course#ifs and stuff like r0mance club (like realistic styled VNs i guess?) seem to not as much#d0l is a very abnormal scenario#the amount of fanart it gets is insane#and im telling u a lot of these ppl are anime watchers (or were)#(including me)#anyways im wondering about all this cause i wanna make fanart for some ifs i hope but i really feel like my art style#doesnt fit#it just has that anime feel u know#so i dont feel too confident#its like if i made fanart for r0mance club#like im sure ppl would be happy for any fanart but it just feels kinda strange with how stylized i draw things#but yea im gonna do it anyways cause nothing can stop me#but i wanted to get my thoughts out
