jokes aside, not a lot of people do it and it's definitely not a requirement, but i love when fics remember how dangerous Void really is, physically and mentally. not in a big showy way, just subtle details that set you off a bit (e.g. something deeply unsettling happens. he reacts with annoyance and disgust, not fear, and certainly not empathy). it contrasts with his easy-to-make-fun-of attitude, and im a sucker for contrasts.

i've yet to find anything i particularly dislike in fics.
