also. y'know what. 🌟 + sigma too :3c
!!!!!! yay, thank you!!! It's going to be a bit hard to account for all the overlapping and diverging timelines in this one, so I'll just give a very basic overview.
Tumblr media
When Hannah and Sigma first met, they were in college and shared a couple classes together. While Sigma made a lasting impression on her, being a decently popular guy who always stuck out in class, the same couldn't be said for the reverse; as to him, Hannah was just some quiet girl in one or two of his classes that he barely remembered. So when the both of them were suddenly kidnapped, locked inside a giant warehouse, and forced to play a game of life or death with a group of strangers, they had no other choice than to stick together to try and figure out how the hell to get out of this place alive.
Over the course of the game (and Sigma subsequently going through multiple different timelines where either one or both of us die and has to keep jumping back and forth across time and space to prevent that from happening), the two become practically inseparable. Wherever Sigma goes, Hannah follows timidly behind. The group needs to split up to search new areas? Sigma is the first to volunteer to be paired with her. Even if they do need to part ways for a particular section of the game, they are always the first to reconvene and check back in with each other. At first it's just familiarity, but sooner or later, they both come to feel such a deep, inexplicable bond that neither of them can describe, but always keeps them close to one another — as if invisible red strings keep tugging them back if they venture too far.
Eventually, it comes to a point where Sigma is practically smacked in the head with the notion that having met this girl has — and will continue to — alter the trajectory of his life forever; realizing that she is more important to him than his own life and that he would do anything to keep her safe, no matter what. And with news of a deadly virus spreading throughout the world and killing off 85% of the world's population, along with multiple other threatening organizations and cults running around, the only thing he can do is agree to team up with Akane Kurashiki in her plan to save humanity in hopes that he could make the changes needed to not only save the world itself, but the person most precious to him in it.

My personal review of Camila Cabello's Romance album.
- ssweet-moonnnn / Isa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Track no.1 - Shameless.
The title speaks for itself. This song tells a story of passion and pursuit. I love that feeling of wanting someone so much that it actually turns you into a fearless vulnerable human. A paradox, a walking contradiction on its own right. Also I really like Camila’s carefree adventurous sexy latina, I love that energy.
My favorite lyrics from this song would have to be: “In my dreams, I do anything I want to you. My emotions are naked. Screamin' my lungs out for you. Not afraid to face it. I need you more than I want to.”
Note: the lyrics “Write it on my neck, why don't ya?" reminds me of that time when Camila rapped for Lauren “Check on my neck.” I posted a video of that before.
Track no. 2 - Living proof.
I really like how vulnerable this song is, it is an invitation to one’s soul.
My favorite lines are: “Do you feel me? Can you feel me?" and" Show your demons, and I might show you mine.”
Note to this lyrics: This was a tweet from Lauren back in 2014 “Look into my eyes, that's where my demons hide" In 2015 Camila tweeted “show me all your demons”
Track no. 3 - Should’ve said it.
For me this song is a proof of how pride or ego can mess up a beautiful love story. Most often than not a person would let someone go because of her or his pride or ego. It makes one realize that this is life and is not like the movies but you can choose to be genuinely happy by fighting for who you love whether it be over pride, ego or someone else. Take that leap of faith because regrets can be fatal in the end. It also speaks of the importance of communication and voicing out the truth and how you really feel before everything is too late.
My favorite lyrics are: “So you want me now? That's funny. ‘Cause you didn't give a... back then. If you wanted me so desperately, you shoulda said it. You shoulda said it, love. I wish that you could turn back the time. You'd hold me closer instead of your pride. I knew it was you from the very first night. And it took you two years to make up your mind.”
Note: Camila says this album was written in a span of a year, 2018-2019, 2 years ago is 2016 from 2018. Who was with her? Lauren.
Track no. 4 - My oh my.
I love this song, the energy is fun, sexual, dangerous and flirtatous vibe. One of my faves. Camila is Karla Estrabao here.
My favorite lines are: “I said, if he kissed me, I might let it happen. I swear on my life that I've been a good girl. Tonight, I don't wanna be her.”
Track no. 5 - Señorita.
Very catchy, I remember when I first heard it I played it on loop in the shower. One of those fun songs you can suffer a last song syndrome from but I’m loyal to Lauren so I wouldn’t comment about Shawn.
Track no. 6 - Liar.
Another Karla Estrabao sexy tune. This song is about unconsciously wanting someone and contradicting your own self because the truth is, you really can’t help it, you want that person when you thought it is over, it was never really over.
My favorite lyrics are: “I said I won't lose control, I don't want it. I said I won't get too close, but I can't stop it.”
Track no. 7 - Bad kind of butterflies.
I think more so this is a story of someone in a relationship who wants another person. Call me delusional but something tells me that when Camila was dating she was still thinking about Lauren and felt guilty about it. She said in an interview that it doesn’t feel the same with someone you just date versus the one where you were passionately in love with and I agree a hundred percent.
Track no. 8 - Easy.
Fave lyrics from this: “Always thought I was hard to love. Til you made it seem so easy.”
I think this is my fave lyrics off of this song because I am so hard to love personality wise I can be too much for someone, a passionate explosion of some sort and the people who have been with me who truly cared about me loved that trait about me. It seemed so easy for them to love me.
Track no. 9 - Feel it twice.
One of the saddest songs in this record but I think this is another camren song. Timeline 1 year plus 2 years ago 2016, Lauren. Camila said this was one of the saddest moments of her life, I think this is the time where she and Lauren had a misunderstanding and lack of communication.
Fave lyrics: “Oh, I'm scared if I look in your eyes, I might see your soul. Sitting by the phone, holding onto hope. Spending all night wondering why you let me go. I wish you had felt how you're feeling two years ago.”
Track no. 10 - Dream of you.
This song is so sweet. Speaks about that person who you constantly think about and hoping you do cross their mind too.
Fave lyrics: “All I do, the whole day through, is dream of you. Can you please say you dream of me too.”
Track no. 11 - Cry for me.
Ultimate break up song on the record. I think Camila wrote this when Lauren was with Lucy because she was speaking about a girl with her ex at the end of the song.
Fave lyrics: “You said that, in this lifetime, you could never get over me? Are you over me?”
Track no. 12 - This love.
This is one of my favorites. This is a song for your soulmate. It is what I call endless love.
Fave lines: “Know just how to make me miss you. Goin' in our separate ways but when I'm back here in the middle. Losin' you I couldn't face. Waitin' for ya just in case once a year doesn't hurt, Said it's the last time, but nah, Tired of building up my walls, Just to watch them fall again.”
Track no. 13 -Used to this.
Talks about how a place you don’t like could turn into your favorite just because someone you are in love with made it special for you.
In an interview Camila said that she likes to make surprise flights for someone she is in love with. Remember the rumor airport flights between camren back in the day?
Note: Funny how there is a camren play in San francisco.
Fave lyrics: “And it bears repeating. How hard my heart's beating. When you tell me I should stay.”
Track no. 14 - First man.
I couldn’t really relate to this song because I didn’t have the same relationship with my father, I can relate more to Ariana Grande, I think we have the same father. Kidding aside, I like Camila’s dad.
xx

I know you mentioned that Bill wasn't included in ILM because you didn't know much about his personality. Out of curiosity though, if you had included him in the fic, how would you have integrated his history of being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse that couldn't have happened for the other characters? Or like, what approach would you have gone with?
Oh this is kind of a tough one! I don’t know Bill well, because I haven’t played Left 4 Dead, but that actually wasn’t why he isn’t in the fic. I stopped including survivors after Jane Romero, because DbD updates so much that I hit a point it was either add more characters but know you won’t have time to develop them and give them the character arcs they deserve because you’re nearing the end, or stop adding people, and it’s always better to whole-ass less then half-ass more—especially with characters that are awesome and really deserve some due diligence. While Bill is actually one of the earliest survivors released for DbD (he was...siiixth or something? Like right after Ace? Or Nea?), that’s only for PC. On PS4 and Xbox, he wasn’t added until much later, and I play DbD on PS4. So, for me as a player, Bill wasn’t actually released until after Ash was. When I started writing, I was kind of vaguely aware he existed on PC? But I had 0 personal experience with him, and so I went with my own/console experience when it came to writing.
As for what I’d have done, that’s a dang good question, and I’m not entirely sure— I’d definitely have thought about it longer if I had included him, but I’ll give you what I think I would have done? Obviously, Bill’s not from the world the rest of the survivors are. While almost any of the stories can coexist with minimal changes (NOES 2010, Halloween, Stranger Things, even Ash are more or less fairly easily compatible), zombie apocalypse—couple things I know they’re bound to notice, ya know? Still, I stand by multiverse being both unnecessary and not the best decision for the story I want to tell, so what I think I’d have done is this: (under the cut bc it’s gonna be long af--get ready for some quantum theory lol)
Okay, so the Entity canonically can operate outside of natural time. Meaning it can take survivors from earlier or later, and isn’t on the same space-time fixed relationship the world is. Now, time travel is tricky. Or anything with a complex portrayal of time. But there are three basic setups for time travel potential that actually make sense. They are as follows:
Anything that will happen, has happened (or the Artemis Fowl timetheory). This one is pretty straightforward. Sure, you can travel through time, but the universe you live in right now where you are choosing to go back is the result of the past you caused. The change you’re causing is past-tense already, and the only real agency you have is in causing the circumstances leading up to where you already are. This still allows for some fancy manuvering (for example: want to save a friend’s life? No problem. You can’t remove the motivation to go back, so you in the past still have to believe they die, but so long as you didn’t like, hold their severed head—if it’s a situation like say, you saw them blow up, you can save that person—you just have to make sure your past self still sees them “die” in the explosion and thus chooses, as you did/are, to go back.) This is my personal least favorite theory of space-time, but it’s a solid one.
The second is the The Future is not Set (or the Back to the Future timetheory). This one says time is flexible. You can go back and kill your father before you’re born, and the future will change. How ripple effects happen are varried—for example in strict timeline variations of this theory such as those in Frequency or Back to the Future, if you cause yourself not to be born, time will catch up with you, and while the impact you left on the world remains, you, as you no longer are born, will vanish from existence as the time stream corrects itself. However, more lenient time streams such as the versions in Continuum or Futurama exist as well, where even if your effects on the world prevent you from being born, the version of you currently alive continues to exist as an anomaly. This is by far, in my opinion, the most enjoyable solid timetheory.
And last (unless you count Time Travel is Impossible as a solid theory which I guess technically you can??), theory three (or the Doctor Who timetheory). This theory portrays time as possible to change and allowing for alternatives to be taken, but not in all places and ways. It presents very hard limits on what can change, and offers a much more inflexible time continuum than theory 2, as well as much higher consequences for causing alterations. Rather than direct cause-effect consequences, like vanishing because you caused yourself not to be born, usually the result of tampering and causing a change of large size is that you will create time paradoxes, which the time stream itself desperately will try to destroy/fix, usually horribly and with massive and brutal force. Things like Life is Strange fall into this theory as well, with Dr. Who being on the lenient end of this spectrum and LIS the strict. It offers the technicality of a changeable future, but none of the true and almost wild freedom offered by variations of theory 2. Basically, any large scale or personal change you cause will rip holes in the universe, and either you will give in to fate and re-allow the loved one you saved to die, or you push on through and accept massive time-space damage and casualties for the choice. I’ve got mixed feelings on this one myself, as I’ve seen it handled super well and made a thing that can be fun, but it also is the theory that pisses me off the most when written poorly haha.
Anyway, massive time theory talk over, in Dead by Daylight, the Entity can traverse time canonically. In ILM, the survivors only talk briefly, after meeting Jane, about theories for how that works, but here is what I would say if ILM had included Bill. To preface, there are two timelines that each follow the same set of basic rules, but have a little freedom in how they effect each other (not so much in how they effect themselves): the Survivor’s world/reality timeline, and the Entity’s pocket dimension timeline. Neither timeline can contradict itself and create paradoxes within its own space. So. Bill is from the same universe as anyone else. At one point, the early 2000s followed the narrative of Left 4 Dead, and the Entity grabbed Bill where & when he “dies” in canon. Only, some time after grabbing Bill, the Entity took another person which (completely unintentionally on the Entity’s part) triggered a massive Buttery Effect on the world, and greatly altered reality, causing not only the Left 4 Dead apocalypse to no longer occur, but causing Bill himself to never be born. Bill however was already outside of the world and in the Entity’s pocket dimension at the time, and thus was not there to be “erased” and exists as an anomaly. While he is paradoxical in his own world, he does not at all contradict the Entity’s established timeline—he adheres to it. While the memory of survivors is effected and updated by changes made in reality by the Entity, because there is no version of “Bill” in the world anymore, he did not have his memories altered (there was no “Bill” for the timestream to update at all, as he is entirely an anomaly now, so it would have no reason to try). The world they exist in has a time continuum that operates off a variation somewhere between theory 3 and theory 2 (the future is not set, but also there are fix points—however, these almost exclusively exist in regard to one’s own past. The big rule is that personally making the act of altering your own past intentionally by nature also alters your motivations for acting in the first place, and thus negates the possibility of you doing so. While you can change other people’s pasts, or accidentally effect your own, you physically cannot change your own intentionally, because you’d create either a paradox or a time loop, and it would rip you apart).
Dwight is more or less correct when he hypothesizes that they might have all remembered a world with Jane Romero still in it until an hour ago. However, all of ILM itself is that version of time/reality (ie the “last” or “final” version, as it were/the version that came into being when Jane was taken). Her loss butterfly affect updated people, and so they remember her being missing. While the Entity could hypothetically someday accidentally do things that make it so survivors aren’t born in the external reality, it cannot do so intentionally or accidentally-on-purpose, because it is bound by the rules of its own personal history/timeline, and it can neither intentionally nor accidentally do a damn thing to prevent what has transpired inside itself from happening. Similarly, since the survivors are established as existing inside it, even if they were erased at birth, they would still exit it intact in November of 2019 with all their memories. The Entity thus has no real way to hurt them even in revenge, unless it is willing to risk taking them again from a later point in time. Most small decisions do not have buttery effects that are very large at all, and in general time attempts to smooth out with the least possible changes. What happened to Bill was a one in a billion fortunate/unfortunate chance thing, and was such an unlikely thing to happen in the first place, the chances of a thing like it happening again are astronomically small, and almost completely certainly would not to occur. In some ways it would be nice for him though, because he could escape back to a peaceful reality where many people he lost are still happy & living. While they don’t remember him, people would still have the echos of their past inside them (feelings of deja vu, memories in dreams, attachment and familiarity with people you never “met”) and he could reconnect with them if he wanted and live happily with old Left 4 Dead crew and his new survivor family. : )

Not Dead Yet (Part 22)
*Why did this take me so long to write? Ah well it’s up now. Thanks for all the love! <3*
Pairing: Reader x Peter Pan
Warning: language
After Peter and I had stopped making out things got uncomfortably quiet. We sort of just stood there catching our breath and avoiding eye contact. What were we supposed to do now? Should I leave? Should I say something? What exactly is the protocol to what to do after you make out with your friend/leader?
“Well,” Peter broke the silence, “I’m just gonna say it. I enjoyed that immensely.”
“Oh my god,” I muttered, “Peter, really?”
“What? You didn’t?” he cocked an eyebrow up at me. “Certainly seemed like you were enjoying yourself.”
“I’m not saying I didn’t cause I did but this is weird, isn’t it?” All my nervous energy was bouncing about.
He shrugged, “It’s only weird if you make it weird, Lost Girl.”
“So what now? We forget this ever happened and move on with our lives?”
“Why would we do that?”
“Why wouldn’t we?”
“I thought we just agreed we both liked it.”
“Yes, so what?”
“So,” he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, “Shouldn’t two attractive people that are great kissers take advantage of that?”
“What are you proposing?”
“Simple. We go about our normal lives. In front of the boys you and I are as we always have been. If either one of us gets a craving then we sneak off behind some tree and make out until we can’t breathe.”
“You have some real intimacy addiction don’t you?” I rolled my eyes at him, “I can see the benefit though. Just so long as you understand that if I do do this it is only going to be a cheeky snog against a tree. I will not have sex with you.”
He let out a disappointed groan. “Fine. But if you change your mind--” I elbowed him hard in the stomach. “You are so abusive.”
“Stop being disgusting and maybe I won’t find a reason to hit you.” I smoothed out my appearance. “If we understand each other then I’m going to head back to camp.”
“Yes, yes,” he grabbed me again, “Seal it with a kiss?”
“You have a problem.” I gave him a quick peck that seemed to disappoint him before leaving.
From then on things weren’t that different. I mean things are definitely different seeing as how I spend my evenings making out with Peter but besides that things were the same at camp. Any of the boys that tried to give me grief about Peter’s rumour were quickly dealt with. Poor Carlos lost a foot due to his constant disgusting remarks. It was an accident anyways, all I meant to do was break it and ended up crushing it completely to the point we had to chop it off. After that the teasing from the others cooled down. It is amazing how many times I have to make these boys scared of me to get them to respect me. C’est la vie.
I will admit that things with Peter are awkward in a sense. I don’t take it upon myself to initiate anything. With all the boys around and the fact that I didn’t really crave kisses I never approached him about it. Peter on the other hand…
If I could count on anything it was that Peter has an addiction to a certain level of physical intimacy. I mean I already knew that considering his little night time visits to the other realms but that was sex. He’d leave maybe once or twice a month or so for a fix. With our arrangement though that was amplified by ten.
There I was just walking along in the jungle when someone pulled on my arm and I was pressed into a body. “Good morning,” he murmured in my ear.
“Morning,” I relaxed, “You know there are other ways to get my attention right?”
“What fun are those?” he pulled me closer, “We made our agreement a while ago but you’ve been giving me the cold shoulder since. I would have thought from how often you couldn’t keep your hands off me before that--”
With a roll of my eyes I pulled him down for a kiss. “Was that what you wanted?”
“You make teasing you a lot less fun when you just give me what I want.” he sighed.
“First you complain that I haven’t been hanging off you and now you’re complaining that I am? And you call me a paradox.”
“You know about that?”
“I do now.” I smirked at him and he returned the cheeky grin. “You act like you’re the first person to think as much. The amount of times Devin’s made fun of me for being the human embodiment of an anomaly are too many to count.”
“Well you have to admit you do do things that don’t make a whole lot of sense.” he flicked my nose, “Are you sure you’re not from Wonderland?”
“Seeing as how I don’t even know where you’re talking about I’m gonna go ahead and say no.” I looped my arms around his neck, “Now did you really come here just to tell me how strange I am?”
“I suppose not.” he pressed me closer and kissed me hard.
As weird as this was for me to accept I did enjoy kissing him a lot. My skin gets all tingly and my heart starts pounding and this strangely satisfying twist curls up in my stomach. Pressed together, mouths connected, hot breath passing back and forth. Not to mention the noises. Peter made a lot of little noises. Mainly little groans and a hushed whisper that never quite reached my ears. Every time we made out I understood a little better why girls wanted to sleep with him if kissing was half as good. It almost made me want to consider it but that was a temptation to tackle another day.
His hands skirted at the edge of my shirt before slipping under rubbing the bare skin of my back. I pulled back earning a disgruntled groan. “What?”
“You know what, watch where you’re putting those.”
“You are determined to make this as boring as possible, aren’t you?”
“Boring? Me?”
“Yeah, you can’t take things being a little frisky. That’s half the fun of making out.”
“Well then,” I pushed him so we both collapsed to the ground with my legs resting along either side of him. I ran one hand up under his shirt while leaning down toward his neck kissing lightly up to his ear. I raked my fingers back down his torso and gave his ear a playful nip. I sat back up and took in his blushing bewildered face. “Was that better?”
“Are you sure you’re a virgin?” he ran his hands up along my thighs.
“Just another thing that makes me a paradox, huh?” I chuckled, “And unless that’s your dagger I’m feeling I’d say that’s what you really like about me.”
His eyes widened even more as I stood up. I could feel my own face heating up after my bold little act and the fact that I was a hundred percent sure I knew what was really pressing against my thigh. Still it was satisfying to know that I could affect him like that so easily.
“Where are you going?” he sat up, “I think you should finish what you started.”
“Only in your dreams, Petey. I’m heading to training.” I picked up my club and hoisted it over my shoulder. “See ya!”
“Don’t call me Petey!”
“I make out with you, I got you hard, I’ll call you whatever the goddamn hell I want!” I called back, “If you got a problem with that then fight me. You know where I’ll be.”
When I got to training most of the boys were hard at work. What was I gonna do today? I didn’t need anymore training with my club and spear and sword wielding were a breeze. If I want to be a good recruit then I should master all forms including stupid archery.
“Hey, Nick,” I tapped him on the shoulder, “Lend me a bow?”
“You’re gonna try archery? Really?”
“I know I stink but there’s only one way to get better right?” I took the bow and notched an arrow. I let go and watched it fly. It hit the target but supremely poorly. Some of the more accomplished archers sniggered at me. Whatever, so they could shoot pointy sticks, I could crush their skulls with one swing of my club. Who really had the more power?
“Y/N,” Nick came up behind me and corrected my stance, “You’re too tense. Good form is the strength without compromising the ease. Keep a strong base and steady arm but keep your movements fluid.”
“Like this?” I pulled back another arrow and let it fly. It fell short of the target by a foot.
“Almost, you were being a little too loose. Let me show you,” He guided my arm from behind and this time when the arrow flew it hit close to the center of the target.
I shot off a few more arrows some doing better than others and Nick giving me some help and constructive criticism from time to time. By an accident that was in no way my fault one of the arrows somehow got aimed right at Nick’s foot at one point. It didn’t hit him but the little jumping dance he made as he tried to avoid it was one that made me laugh out loud.
“Great, I think I got it!” I took in a deep breath as I pulled back my last arrow. I got this. Keep my movements fluid and my stance strong and I should--
“AROO AROO!” the sudden crow made me fumble and I shot the arrow into the dirt.
“Dammit!” I turned around to see what was going on. Peter had finally made his way to training with a confident swagger that could only mean one thing. We were about to play a game.
“I have some great news everyone!” he shouted to everyone, “We have some new guests on the island.”
New guests? Now this was a first. In all the years I’ve been here the only guests we’ve ever had were the new Lost Boys. Judging by how only an hour ago I had Peter pinned to the ground I would seriously doubt he had gone and gotten a new boy. That meant that our guests were actually, for lack of a better word, trespassers. Ooh, this was sounding like fun.
“So, who’s stopped by our little realm?” one of the boys asked.
“A grand ship by the looks of it.” Peter told us, “If memory serves I’ve seen this ship before except they were running royal colors the last time I saw them.”
“Who are they? Navy? Explorers?” another boy spoke up.
“Much more exciting than goody-two shoes navy men or empty-headed explorers.” his smirk twisted into a devilish smile, “Boys and Y/N, we have pirates at our shore.”
