This idea is canon to me, you can’t change my mind. The father getting to feel the baby move? Getting to feel their heartbeat? TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!

Other familial applications for tsaheylu that I headcanon:

Couples making tsaheylu while giving birth. That way the father can literally provide his support and they can bring their child into the world together as partners. You make the baby together, you birth the baby together. 

The father makes tsaheylu with the newborn baby the same way the mother does. I LOVE that a baby’s first tsaheylu is with their mother, but I headcanon that their second is with their other parent. Relationships between fathers and children are just as important as relationships between mothers and children! Let them make those connections with their babies too!

Na’vi twins make tsaheylu in the womb and that’s why they’re so close when they’re born. Human twins already tend to be very close and share “twinisms” (some of the stories I’ve heard from friends of mine who are twins are WILD) but I feel like tsaheylu would explain that kind of closeness and “mind reading” so well for Na’vi twins. Plus, it’s cute! (Twins are always on my mind thanks to Jake and Tommy tbh).
