I went with Solus for this because she's my Elf Adjacent Baby. In her actual universe (Star Wars) she's Three-Quarters Sephi (Space Elf) and One Quarter Human. She's also a Mandalorian. So here's my take of her armor in a more traditional Elf Style. Then a fun gala style dress for when she has to politican with the non-Mandos or the New Mandalorians. 0. the fool for solus vetra and aoika igarashi?

0. The Fool - when you first created your character, what did you originally envision for them?

Solus Vetra had such a different path when I first created her. For starters, she stayed with the Jedi until the bitter end of The Clone Wars. Her relationship Jai’ba’buir (her blood grandfather) was much less fraught. There was still pain it never bled over to the sheer degree it is now. But, I’m actually happier with the tension now. They’re both stubborn people with this fitting them more. Solus’ original pairing was with Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett. Bo-Katan was maybe a passing crush she had while Pre Vizsla meant nothing to her. In fact, those two frequently clashed until his death at Maul’s hands. She was somewhat tamer in a sense too. Creating her has kind of been like her dropping the Polite Act with me to really meet her. I love this version of her much better.

Aoika Igarashi has stayed many of the ways I planned for her to be. The stark look at what the shinobi system does in desperate times to prodigies. Her family is technically all civilians so there’s their poor reactions in the early years. Aoika was born at a time when being skilled enough made childhood a luxury. So much of her abilities would be of use at higher levels she was rushed through everything. Hiruzen cared deeply for Aoika but when it’s the life of one verses many...the many will win. I don’t think I anticipated how much of a lens she would become for many characters. There are a lot of people to compare and contrast her to; Itachi Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, her distance Senju relatives, the generation before her, and even those three years younger than her. A big thing I’ve recently realized with her is just how much she does not want the SpecOps Intelligence Job. She would much rather do her job without the tattoo on her arm and the porcelain mask. But, duty called so she had to answer. Her life for the village, every single time. Trauma and Scars just mean she survived and others aren’t so fortunate.

Tiberius let out a content sigh as he curled up against the nice, warm body beside him while a hand played with his hair and the little bundle between them curled up against him. “How about I go get some caf made up?” Eli asked thoughtfully as he moved his hand down to Tib’s shoulder to give him a light shake. “Pre has scheduled a meeting for this morning, remember? And we should have the wake up call in three, two…..”.

As on cue, a certain little ball of unholy energy slammed the door open and ran into the room, then right up to Eli’s side of the bed. “Breakfast!” The paint brat announced as he beamed up at them, which caused Tib to let out a defeated sigh while Eli ruffled Jona’s hair.

“Thank you, Jona.” Eli answered. “Shouldn’t you be helping your  buir feed Tristan?”.

“Tristan likes art too.” Jona reasoned as he looked at Tiberius and Aveza curiously. “Is Unca Tib an’ Vee still sleepin’?”.

“No, they’re grumpy at Uncle Pre. We have a very important meeting this morning.”.

Jona nod slightly. “I’ll go tell Mama to start the caf!” And with that, the brat bolted out of the room while Tib sat up and moved Aveza to his lap, earning a fussy whine in response.

“See, even he knows I hate mornings and Ziva’s going to be like this for the rest of the day.” Tiberius pointed out as he frowned at Aveza’s mess of hair, which caused Eli to chuckle. “Why did he have to plan it this early? Does he want me to kick Dred’s ass?”.

“Everybody has fun watching you deck whichever dumbass disrespects Clan Vizsla.”.

Tiberius rolled his eyes in response as he got off the bed with Aveza in his arms and walked out of the room, he smiled slightly as he felt the childish excitement from the boys. It was a nice feeling this early in the morning.

“There’s the smile.” Eli muttered cheerfully as he fell into step besides the younger man as they walked towards the kitchen of the rather large complex, which caused Tib to lean against him.

Pre watched as a particular young couple entered the kitchen, which resulted in Tiberius passing Aveza to her father and making a beeline to the counter to get his first cup of caf, it took at least three for him to reasonable during morning meetings.

“Ah, ah, ah, go sit down with Solus.” Pre said as he intercepted the younger man and redirected him towards the table, where Solus as sluggishly drinking her own caf.

Tiberius sighed but complied nonetheless and swiped Aveza back from Eli in the process before settling on the chair and started combing his fingers through her hair. “We should start stashing a hairbrush in here.” Tiberius muttered as Aveza rubbed at her eyes.

“Meanie.” The two-year-old stated as she glared at Pre.

“Daddy will kick his butt later when we’re sparring.” Tiberius assured her as he glared evilly at Pre, who rolled his eyes and retrieved the hairbrush that Bo-Katan had actually stashed by the caf maker and walked over it to his half-brother with the peace offering. “When does the meeting start anyway?”

“Now, actually.” Pre answered as Eli walked over with a mug of caf and handed it to Tiberius who looked at Pre as if he suddenly grew a second head.

“Where is everybody?”.

“Here. Tiberius, you remember that recent job on Coruscant, don’t you?” Pre asked as he nod towards Solus who was giving him the same confused look. “Solus Vetra, this is my younger half-brother, Tiberius.”,

Tiberius stared at him for a moment before looking at Solus. “Wait…...she’s that Jedi that jumped your sorry ass, right?” Tiberius asked slowly as it dawned on him who the former Jedi was as he stared at her. “You tried to kill me on Coruscant.”.

“I….That was you?” Solus asked in a bit of surprise as the two stared at each other while Aveza glared at Pre, and at least one of them were awake.

Pre looked down as Jona tugged on his pants leg and smiled at the boy who simply gave him an Ursa’s classic unimpressed look. “I has new paint.” Jona stated ominously.

“And your mother needs to limit your exposure to your Auntie Bo.” Pre responded, although a bit disturbed that he was being threatened by a three-year-old and noticed a very familiar, and rather rude gesture Solus gave him before she turned her attention back to Tiberius.

“It’s really too early for this, can I go back to bed, please?” Tib asked as he pushed the mug away and glared at Pre.

“Yeah, and save this for later? When we’re both more aware too?” Solus added as she cast a glare at Pre as well.

“I get it, you can find a date on your own, but making me wake up at this Force forsaken hour isn’t worth it.” Tib turned his attention back to the Kiffar toddler. “When was the last time you checked on the affairs of our clan?”.

“I want you two to meet in a more peaceful situation.” And Pre had checked in, he knew there was some difficulties over the affiliations right now, and Satine seemed to find it necessary to grill Tiberius over his own affiliations.

“Daddy?” Aveza asked as she glared at Pre. “Can we throws hairbrush at Unca Pre, pwease?”.

“Yep.” Solus answered as she smiled at the girl who looked at her then proceed to ruffle the brat’s hair, which earned an annoyed sigh from Tib. “We can certainly do that, since Uncle Pre needs to learn that some people like to sleep.”.

Tiberius pointed the brush at Pre. “Three against one, brother dear.” Tib stated as he proceed to do as the brat requested, which was intercepted by Ursa. “Ursa! Come on, he deserves it!”.

“I won’t disagree with you on that, Tiberius, but why don’t your return to bed? I rather not deal with you acting like this for the rest of the day.” Ursa stated sternly and glared at the count who glared right back for a few seconds Tib to sigh and push his chair back and turn towards the door with Aveza, then leave without another word. “Solus, why don’t you go back to bed too? Which means,” Ursa looked towards her eldest. “Jona, could you show Auntie Solus her room, please?”.

“Okay, Mama!” Jona rushed over and grabbed Solus’s hand. “C’mon, Auntie! Boo choose a room with lots of art an’ a fluffy bed for you!”.

“Okay, okay, I’m coming.” Solus said fondly as she picked Jona up, who grinned happily. “Ursa! I think I might keep him!”.

“Feel free.” Ursa said as the brat winked at them before the pair left the room.

“That went better than expected.” Eli piped up as he sipped at his own caf. “Alrich and I fully expected them to go berserk on you.”.

“Thank you for the vote of confidence, gentlemen.” Pre snipped at the Kiffar who smirked at him while Alrich ignored him as he tried to clean Tristan’s hands.

“Next time, listen to me when I tell you something.” Ursa said as she pointed the hairbrush at him with an unimpressed look. “A more peaceful situation would be any time but the morning. Even a battlefield.”.

“I’ll handle the proper introduction this time.” Alrich adds as he gave Pre the same unimpressed look, and Pre had no problems admitting he messed up either.

Playing Mass Effect Andromeda and seeing that Zaeed's son was there but remembering Zaeed made me realize that I forgot about the ME2 rather quickly. The only ones who really left an imprint were Grunt, Mordin, Thane and Jack. And I only liked Mordin in 3 , I liked Thane because he was actually interesting and fleshed out, I adore Grunt because I like Krogan's anyways and again, I only got really attached to Jack in 3, like I did Mordin.

I forgot all about the Asari milf justice car lady, the thief lady and.... idk who else there was. I remember Garrus and Tali but I'm gonna be honest, even though I like her, I forget Tali exists sometimes and Garrus has been homie since 1 so he's never gonna be forgettable. Even though Tali was in that one too.

I feel more attachment to the crew in Andromeda than the ME2 crew, even though they're kinda meh in their own ways sometimes, but they're honestly funny and I have fun with them. Drack, Jaal, Vetra, Cora, PeeBee, Suvi, Kallo, hell, even Gil and Lexi and I barely talk to those two at all because I find them boring, I barely even talk to Liam's annoying ass, but their background chatter with each is fucking hilarious, walking into the room and seeing Vetra and Jaal tell off Cora over a board game analogy almost made me pee myself.

I never really got moments like that in ME2, unless it was with Garrus.

Noun to Describe Them: Mandokar (the right stuff, the epitome of Mando virtue - a blend of aggression, tenacity, loyalty and a lust for life)

Temperament: She’s rather even tempered with an excellent poker face when it’s necessary. Chaos doesn’t bother her, making her excellent at handling stressful situations from medical wards to battlefields. As a Jedi Commander, her troopers adored her and when settled into Death Watch that rings true there as well.

Other’s First Impression of Them: Appearance wise, she’s almost dainty (5’5”) with an elven beauty about her causing people to underestimate her might. Then personality wise, she comes off as very charismatic with a keen eye for politics.

How did they get here: Even before going to Mandalore as a representative of the Jedi Order and Republic she was having doubts about things. Meeting Pre, getting acknowledged again as Mandalorian, and spending so much time with Satine sealed how much she hated her life. Having a minor mental breakdown, learning of a specific kind of Republic Rot, and she just finally broke. She tore through a false Mandalorian Clan on Nar Shaddaa to get proof, destroyed an information network, and then contacted Ursa. She wanted in on what Death Watch had.

Fun Fact: As much as she fulfills the role of Rally Master, with the context of Death Watch and greater Mandalorian Culture, she’s grumpy about the title. The traditional rally master armor is bulky and entirely red; she likes neither of those things. Her preferred armor style is a sleekier assassin style in blacks, grays, and silvers.

Free Space/Ramble: Because of how I write Sephi (Thustran based specifically) with some vulpine traits and being highly adept to the cold it makes her a little bit arctic fox-esque. Her grandfather (the man she’s the smaller, almost identical feminine form of much to her ire) has the Silver Fox going while she’s a slight prankster. Yes, she will abuse the Force to move a stylus a few inches away from someone without them seeing to be annoying.

Armor Notes: Solus specifically sticks her preferred color scheme in line with what her Clan would traditionally wear. This includes her left pauldron being black with the clan's signet in a muted gold. It's a display of millennia long solidarity between Clan Ve'tra and Clan Wren. Otherwise, she adopts the style of Death Watch, specifically the Nite Owls. Later on, when she has her twins, she tends to decorate her chest plate with one of their hand prints on each side.

beige for solus?

BEIGE – What do you consider comfortable clothing? Do you dress up for special occasions? Do you judge other people based on how they dress?

Solus’ comfortable is very much her flightsuit or like leggings and a tanktop with boots. She doesn’t really get cold so dressing to suit the weather is never a concern for her.

Solus is That Bitch about fashion, okay? She will dress up for every single thing she can. Her dresses have layered color meanings, serve different purposes (different cuts to so allegiance with different people), and her accessories say everything. She’s an Artist and a Historian at heart. Fashion plays roles in both of those hobbies. She’s also all about using fashion to subtly manipulate people. 

They see a Manda’lor’s wife in lace and silks and form Opinions. She’s “Soft” or “Delicate” or “Not really a fighter.” People see someone the can intimidate or write off. Because look at her; look at the heels, the fancy dress, the artfully applied makeup and coiffed hair. Her riduure were formal armor and their best trophies for events. She wears That. But, the second they’ve written her off is the second she’s won. Solus Vetra/Vizsla’s greatest strength is how well she makes moves from the Underdog Position. When all they see is a Pretty Face she’s already coiled herself to strike for the jugular. So many cultures use White to mean “Purity” but for hers it bears the meaning of “Death” instead. 

Oh she judges so many people on how they dress. It’s not about how much things cost (because she wears cheap and expensive pieces in equal bouts) but how well made it is. Fast Fashion, in any verse, is the absolute bane of her existence. Why would people so willing wear poorly made things to chase ever changing trends? If you wear it well enough anything can become timeless. There’s also the fact you can say so much with what you wear. Why stay willingly silent?

Whoever I pick, eh? Hmm…….about Jax?

Jax would probably be a bit wary of them both at first, but he’d warm up to them fairly quickly. With Lumi, he’d see why past her defenses and see for for who he is, he really is quite fond of her and would defiantly claim her as family, even if she and Fenn broke upWith Solus, he would probably be quite fond of her too, and love having another voice of reason around too.  He’d probably think she’s a bit foolish for Death Watch at first, but he quickly start finding her to be an impressive diplomat and leader, based on the changes he’s witnessed and heard from Tib.

Jax isn’t a trusting guy, but Lumi and Solus could probably earn his trust.

I absolutely would 100% write this because of the degree to which she would hate it. She has multiple arguments pre-planned for every argument for why she should be Manda'lor.
