Dreaming of Absolution and Living and Learning

So I've had my fair share of mistakes and stupidity all my life. The thing is though when you know you're the one at fault you have to make things right and apologize. An apology can never truly atone you for something no matter what you've done. To truly atone for yourself is to learn from that mistake and never falling for it again. There's only so much you can do to say you're sorry. Recently I've been saying sorry alot. Through my immaturity and ignorance I have done many things to upset people. Sometimes even with my best intentions I have managed to completely screw the situation over and it was getting progressively worse. The only reason I have not completely ruined myself is because these people were some good friends of mine and shrugged it off. Not everyone is like this though and so I have to focus on learning from my mistakes and not letting the past repeat itself. I'm starting to question the point of these posts but hopefully I'll get closer and closer to achieving these words I speak. Finally excuse the title they are references to a certain gaming franchise close to my heart.
