Drew: there would be some moments where he was p funny even when he was trying not to be (homophobic drew) also you could tell he really cared about everyone even if the feeling wasnt mutual, especially near the end of the series

Kristy: Oh Kristy you are so kind and beautiful you deserve everything❤️ it is such a shame that she died so early. I cant pinpoint my favorite thing about her but maybe its how kind she is despite how the world treats her. Also her design is cute

Flan: Hoshi didnt do too much with him with his writing probs cuz he was gay or whatever but he was pretty funny and he was sweet too. Sucks we couldnt see too much of it

Kimana: She was sooooo caring omg especially with the wolves near the beginning of the series. Her talent is also really nice I feel like its one of the more interesting ones out of all the others. I’m glad she was one of the survivors

Nate: As much as I hate him he did manage to make the chapters more interesting mainly ch.3. Lol I feel like of recent with our “discovery” of him being gay I’ve started hating him a lot less

Galetta: Her split personality thing was real cool. I think she is a contender for saying the most slurs throughout the series. Also she’s funny for liking a gay boy. Like cmon Galetta it’s obvious its gay you really had to fall for him. Also he’s not even all that.

Electra: Her ongoing quarrel with Kat near the middle of the series was interesting to watch and also she’s just an interesting character who’s able to hold onto her beliefs (we can see that when she’s not able to forgive Nate). Its genuinely kinda heartbreaking when she finds out that Kat was trying to kill her and we can see that she didn’t even hate her that much. Also Electra x Preston 4 lyfe

Manuel: Wish we were able to see more of him he was such a sweet heart the child abuse was kinda out of nowhere though. It would have been cool if Hoshi implied it? Idk its a touchy subject I cant speak on that too much. But when I was first introduced to him I was kinda able to tell he had to die😭 sad

Aika: Oh this one is complicated. Like she’s my fave but I feel like its even more than that kinda. Like I can’t even explain it I don’t even know where to start. Her rhyming attracted me at first of course because like when have you ever seen a character do that wooooow!!! but like other than that theres nothing else…. I think i kinda just started projected myself onto her after a while which is a bit embarrassing to admit but unfortunately true. This is why it’s hard for me to rewatch cgdr episodes sometimes because then I have to face her real personality and thats hard because she’s lowk like that one shes so crazzzyyy love her post. So when she got with my least favorite character you can only imagine how I felt.

Preston: Sadly he’s a little boring until chapter 2 where his secret is revealed. I think that’s why no one in the cgdr server really talks about him much. The scene between Preston and Electra though was really cute but UGHHHHHHHH NEED MORE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THEM UGHHHH 🤖🤖🤖 i think hoshi could have written at least small interactions between the two before his death. Why hoshi why why why

Kat: Honestly not a lot to say about her😭 She never did much to help the group and im surprised she made it as far as she did so umm.. her friggin willpower is guess. Well she was pretty entertaining. Actually shes a hot and sexy gamer gurl and she makes my wee wee go up i pick that.

Garvyn: He really just wanted the best for the group breh ohhh my god he did NOT have to die bro💔 Like he was strict about it but you could really tell he cared about them but maybe that was just because of his talent of being a general. Also related to Vik. Also Also I always forget he’s dead

Zin: She is such a support character it aint fair Hoshi it aint fair. She may have had a free time event iirc? Yeah i cant even remember. Honestly favorite thing about her was her execution

Vik: My favorite thing about him is how cool he thinks he is near the beginning of the series. Like rewatch that shit he tries so hard to be cool but he’s actually such a loser also really cute i think. If he was a food he would be a cupcake. My favorite cgdr drawing is the one where hes about to eat the lollipop. I like Vik a lot. Sometimes I get a little sad that all we see him as is Drews lover but I get it match made in heaven or whateva. That scene does things to me.

Marco: Marco sure is something. His beef with vik is funny and the club scene where he asks flan if he’s attractive also humorous. Chapter four made me very sad and i didn’t realize how much i liked him until his death

to offer an additional thought on castiel's headspace

dean up until the rupture argument is kind of blunt and rude to castiel, and had previously stated if mary was gone, castiel was dead to him.

now, dean is not obligated to forgive castiel, but when castiel hears "why does it always seem to be you" he hears "why do you keep failing" and assumes any affection dean had for him has gone.

so he decides to leave because he thinks that up until this point (and started putting up with him) after 14x18, dean has just been putting up with him, so even if castiel knows dean has requested he stick around in the past, hes presuming any past requests no longer apply.

and dean is presuming castiel has finally realized that dean is toxic or something, so he doesnt wanna hold him down, especially if dean saw how distraught cas's expression was and regretted causing it.

i understand where you're coming from, and you make a lot of valid points. i do disagree on a few points - and i'm aiming for a discussion tone here, not a critical one, so i hope it comes across that way!

on dean being blunt and rude - i think you're referring to 15x01, when dean asks if cas is okay and then ends the conversation? and the 15x02 conversation about reality and the 15x03 fight? the latter two I'm iffy on. i'm fine saying dean was blunt, and definitely rude in the latter convo. but i also think cas backs him into a corner and demands a conversation dean isn't ready to have. i talked about that a little bit here. that's not to say that dean can say whatever he wants - just that cas is starting these conversations when dean can't really handle them. also, a little funny that cas can often be referred to as blunt and/or rude.

the line about cas being dead to him. ugh. that one i want to blame on berens. but if i take it at face value, yup, that's an unfair and hurtful thing to say! i don't think dean means it but that doesn't negate the hurt it causes.

dean isn't obligated to forgive - yes! and i'd like to add that cas hasn't given much of an apology yet. he's said he's sorry but that's about the extent of it. i've seen people discuss cas "playing" sorry rather than being sorry in the context of s7. while i don't think that's entirely true here, and i do believe cas is sorry, i also think it would have meant a lot to dean if cas sincerely apologized and showed he meant it by giving dean space. cas is not obligated to do this either, of course.

me personally, i don't think whether dean asks cas to stay or not factors much into cas' decision-making. i hear you on past requests not applying anymore, and i see the logic. but for me, cas didn't really honor those past requests either. he came and went as he pleased. so i have a little trouble believing that this was the one time cas wanted to stay and was going to stay if he'd "been allowed," just because the past pattern is primarily dean asking cas to stay and cas choosing to leave.

also, i have no evidence for this, but i would expect the bunker reminded cas of jack. i would imagine staying there would be difficult even if everything was fine between cas and dean.

i think this is an unstoppable force (cas) / immovable object (dean) situation. cas needs to push forward, he needs to talk things through with dean regardless of the consequences, he can't bear to have something "unfixed" when he could "fix" it. dean needs space and time to process his grief and anger and fear, and he can't handle those boundaries being pushed. they're both deeply hurt and they both hurt each other. it's not fair to either of them and it's awful to watch.

and on your last point - yes, i care about them so much too 😭 i've been focusing mainly on dean's perspective here because i see so many discussions of the rupture that essentially blame dean for everything - but i do try to understand cas' perspective too, and i value it.

personally i think hyuna has a lot of death flags but VIVINOS also said that they were working towards a happy ending of some sort, i dont personally believe hyuna will die but i do believe Luka has quite a few death flags as well I want to pay attention to. Especially because wiege is looking at his backstory seemingly, it’s never good when they start showing ur past 😭

the mc can always die however, so I don’t think mizi is safe entirely though it’s unlikely she’ll die after all her development truthfully.

I wish I could say 100% I think Hyuna will survive but I’m very much not sure just off some key points, I’m quite anxious for her because it’s unlikely that the aliens will give her a fair shot at a round with Luka if that’s who she goes against in the event the special guest are entered into alien stage. Despite her stats being far better than Luka’s (and nearly perfect at that), her position as a force behind the rebellion makes me think that they’ll want to make an example out of her thus force a loss and execution.

However, I can’t say I believe she’ll FR die but probably go with the losing an eye theory and get heavily injured.

I also cannot see Luka living truthfully. I think it’s highly unlikely he’ll live to the end, but the moment between the two in that case will be VERY interesting to see and give some good insight! I think if anything, Luka might end up sacrificing himself for Hyuna by taking the shot or end up dead as a result of protecting her. We don’t know if someone will die in Wiege or the videos after, but I’m going to be SOOOOO anxious for the next few months 😭😭😭
