Soren and Corvus are already dating, they've been dating since the time skip or something. No one knows because they all just assume they're mindlessly pinning after each other. People only find out because they end up engaged and Soren just casually brings it up like it's a normal thing.

Nah, more like an alternate season 4 with Ezran opening communications with Piltover and Zaun which somehow escalates into Claudia blowing up the council instead of Jinx. The result is the team now consisting of Caitlyn, Vi, Maddie, Callum, Rayla, Soren, Corvus, Steb, and Loris. At best, Vi doesn't get hit and stays with Caitlyn but at worse, may god have mercy on anyone near Claudia's vicinity and someone is definitely going to get hit with a rifle and it's not Vi (Callum). Like I can imagine Caitlyn trying to shoot Claudia but Terry gets in the way.

But anyway, this scenario would still be a big mess.

Like, maybe Claudia steals some Hextech gem because she think it could help her in her goals. She probably combinies it with dark magic, and that's how she blows out the Council.

About the Xadia, Piltover and Zaun union, they all could help each other improve. Caitlyn and Ezran make a deal that will allow both realms to use the other's resources. They all end up benefitting from this alleance.

As for the fight between the team and Claudia, I can imagine what you said about Terry protecting Claudia, just like Isha protected Jinx.

Caitlyn would still be in the same revenge quest, since her mother still died, but since in this AU it's Claudia that killed her and not Jinx, there wouldn't be a falling out between her and Vi. But Vi would probably still be worried to see Caitlyn's rage.

About Callum getting hit with a rifle, it probably happens after he stopped Caitlyn from doing something bad in her search for Claudia, which could lead to Rayla opposing and maybe even fighting Caitlyn.

Soren would also oppose to Caitlyn, because, even if he is shocked too about what Claudia did and agrees they need to stop her, she's still his sister and he won't let anyone harm her. He could also try to reason with Claudia when he meets her, but that definitely wouldn't end well.

As for Jinx, since in this AU she wasn't the one to blow up the Council and kill Cait's mom, there could be more hope for her to make peace with Vi and Cait.

Maybe, during their hunt for Claudia, Vi founds her and, after a lot of fight and emotions, is able to reconcile with her.

sydney rowan and jedidiah centric. rowans in the nurses building for a panic attack or a migraine or maybe just for some medication, and interrupts a story from jedidiah, one his dad used to tell him.

(fun fact- theres a lot of very real mythology surrounding moons and rabbits!)

so rowan gets what he needs and settles in for it take effect or so he can calm down, whichever, and he gets to listen as well

its not actually a story his dad used to tell him- its a condensed and theatrical version of how he saved sydney. sydneys enraptured the whole time, barely even registering the words, while rowan is.. well, a little worried.

the basics of the story is a tale of the impossibility of necromancy. how even if you do everything right, it wont work. how using any animal sacrifice projects that animals spirit to the moon- where it will haunt you for the rest of your life.

jedidiah used a rabbit, both as the animal he used for real and the example. he leads them to the window and points out the moon, asking if they see any animal. rowan doesn't. sydney and jedidiah both see a rabbit. heart. the whole time rowans shaking like a leaf and thinks about how badly he wants to be away from the sky etc etc etc

im pr sure itll end up as a double pov with the story being told first through rowans eyes and then jedidiahs- so it registers first as an actual fictional story (since its so lesson-y, sounds like something taught to kids) and then it gets spliced with the real events

thats option one anyway. the second is the story told as campfire story from jedidiahs pov. idk which i like better, cuz i want soren to hear it but i also dont know how to fit him AND rowan into the first one and rowan is integral to a plot point or two tjat i want sooo

I mean Talos reminding Nick that Soren loved him was sort of odd (I will allow for the fact that she's recently dead, that makes it a little different), but recontextualizing it like this kinda makes it more intriguing....Also it's catnip to my Espionage Husbands brain.
