There was a man so dedicated to April Fools' Day that he flew hundreds of tires into a dormant volcano in Alaska and set them on fire, fooling the local public and the Coast Guard into thinking the volcano was active.

The architect of this prank was Oliver “Porky” Bickar, a World War II veteran. He had informed the FAA, fire department, and police about the prank. However, he forgot to notify the Coast Guard, which led to their genuine reaction and immediate investigation. Once informed, most residents of Sitka found the joke to be fantastic. An Alaska Airlines flight departing from Sitka was even diverted so that passengers could witness the faux eruption. Later, the admiral in charge of the Coast Guard in Alaska told Bickar that he thought the prank was brilliant.

From what I get in this scenery, Sebek is in the rain, so he's probably near where Meleanor is fighting 😭

its assumed he's wearing Baul's armour but I also think this is a new one bestowed upon him since he did express a desire to join Briar Land Royal Guards which then lead to him almost being engulfed in darkness...

His mask isnt fading magically unlike Lilia's, its more like Sebek's mask cracked from all that pressure (fire and lightning) around him so it signifies how unfamiliar he still is in using this armour😭

but that determined look on his face... I remember how in Dorm Sebek's vignette and from Silver's flashback, Sebek always experiences "failure" when using magic, but the reason why he's great at it to the point where he can attend NRC is that he persists!! AAAACKK I LOVE IT WHEN A CARD HAS UNDERTONES OF THE CHARACTERS PERSONALITY AND LORE AKDJAKFIA SEBEK IS SO COOL 🥲🥲💚💚✨✨✨

Also that top part of what he's holding looks so familiar!!! Its like Lilia's hatchet weapon... The details on the handle is so similar!!

I still remember the canon fact that Lilia's weapon changes form based on who's wielding it... Lilia is injured and can't fight right now so maybe he'll entrust his weapon to Sebek to protect them as Lilia rescues Egg Malleus JDJAJFJAJ as literally Silver and Sebek are the only "healthy" ones to fight rn in exception of Baul.

so in conclusion... Sebek might be wearing his Grandpa's armour and wielding Lilia's weapon!!!! The perfect Knight for Briar Valley... 😭💚💚✨💚✨💚

LISTEN UP: A LADIES LOUNGE IS BEING REMOVED DUE TO "SEXISM"

The Tasmania's Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) is a popular place in the state with free entry for TAS residents. But the ladies lounge is one of the best places inside. It seeks to highlight historic misogyny by banning male visitors, making men feel the exclusion experienced by women for thousands of years.

However, it is now being removed due to discrimination against "people who do not identify as ladies", and as someone who doesn't ID as a women (most of the time) FINE BY ME! Keep me out when I ID as a man. A New South Wales man (Jason Lau) took legal action against Mona, claiming that being denied entry into the Ladies Lounge when he visited the museum last April due to his gender was against the  Tasmanian Anti Discrimination Act (1998)

Why is it being banned?

The Tasmanian Anti Discrimination Act (1998) states that you are not allowed to treat someone differently based on an attribute or characteristic like, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability. source1

But there are exceptions to this rule.

"A person may discriminate against another person in any program, plan or arrangement designed to promote equal opportunity for a group of people who are disadvantaged or have a special need because of a prescribed attribute," the Act states.

Things like women-only gyms are for women to feel safe, promoting equal opportunity, and men's sheds are to promote men's mental health. source2

Mona's Ladies Lounge, however, is not a club and has no membership.

The judgment has ordered Mona to allow men to access the installation within 28 days.

🇮🇱⚔️🇵🇸 🚨 💥PARAMEDICS AND JOURNALISTS TARGETED ON 97TH DAY OF ISRAELI GENOCIDE💥

Israeli Occupation Forces ramped up their bombing and shelling of the Gaza Strip Thursday, killing dozens and targeting journalists and paramedics on the 97th day of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, six Palestinian civilians were killed and many more wounded east of Khan Yunis, as a result of bombing raids by Israeli jets.

Also in the South of Gaza, occupation aircraft bombarded the home of the Bassam Abu Namous family on al-Samasma Street, west of Khan Yunis, killing seven civilians and wounding 25 others.

Occupation helicopters also fired sporadically into Khan Yunis, killing 19 over the previous day, due to Israeli bombardment.

IOF soldiers also continue to bomb and shell various residential homes in the Qaizan al-Najjar neighborhood in the south of Khan Yunis.

In Gaza City, IOF warplanes targeted the home of journalist Mohammed al-Thalathiini, killing the reporter and bringing the death toll among journalists in Israel's genocide to 112 since October 7th.

Israeli forces also targeted the al-Bureij, al-Maghazi, al-Nuseirat and the al-Mughraqa Camps area in central Gaza with heavy artillery fire and bombing raids.

In addition to these crimes, a Palestinian youth was seriously wounded as a result of targeting by an Israeli missile fired from a drone on al-Bahr Street in Rafah, southern Gaza.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the north of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, the Abu Hatab family home was targeted by the Israeli occupation, killing six and wounding several others.

A multitude of wounded Palestinian civilians were also rushed to al-Shifa Medical Complex in the west of Gaza City, with three citizens killed from the Machi family, in the vicinity of the now defunct and destroyed Gaza International Airport that once existed in the enclave's capital.

In central Gaza, six Palestinians, including four from ambulance crews, were slaughtered when occupation jets targeted and bombed an ambulance on Salah al-Din Street, adjacent to the al-Maghazi Refugee Camp.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the Israeli occupation "deliberately targets" its ambulance crews, even when coordinating with International partners, with the PRCS warning against the targeting of the few remaining medical centers in the area.

A Palestinian residential home was also targeted near the entrance to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the Deir al-Balah area, resulting in the deaths of 12 civilians including journalist Ahmed Badir.

While in central Gaza, in the al-Maghazi Refugee Camp area, at least 17 civilians were murdered in strikes by occupation munitions, while Israeli forces also heavily bombed and shelled the al-Bureij and Nuseirat Camp residential areas.

In addition, Wafaa al-Bass, a recently freed prisoner held by the occupation, was killed in her home in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Since the beginning of Israel's genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip began on October 7th, 2023, in excess of 23'357 Palestinians have been killed, with an additional 59'410 wounded in Israeli war crimes.
