So this is a fully random question, with a fair amount of context.

You see, I wanted to try making a video game, and I have some uh.... high ambitions. Each game is set in the capital of a nation called Ashfell, Sparkway City. All are set as different stories within the city, some centering around the Starlight Square (a small town built within the city that's all centering around a single franchised entity: for any world building fans, I'm adding this here, it interacts with the rest of the city quite well since they funnel that money back into the local economy via local sourcing. Plus it's an experiment to build more jobs by zoning a large city into microtowns with free housing and ease of getting jobs in the location), some centering around the concept of life and death, and more. I have 4 games I want to make, each one having different mechanics and styles.

Most of the games will have queer elements as well. Also populated by humans and furries.

Game 1: Nexus (title in progress)

This game is a 3D open world game, set around depression as a whole. It would have survival and psychological horror elements in it, especially after dying in the game a few times. Most early deaths would be self inflicted.

Things to note: there may be more than one game mode involved. Inspired by some free roam horror games (can't think of any)

Game 2: Dream Guardian

This game is a Metroidvania, inspired by Hollow Knight in some design choices. Weapons, spells, and traversing abilities unlockable of course. Follow the main character as she goes on quests to defeat evil throughout Sparkway City!

Things to note: an optional mechanic may be added that may cause psychological damage to the player. The mechanic will be OFF by default, and the player will have to go through 3 layers of "are you sure" before turning it on.

Game 3: Rhythm game (title in progress)

Starring the audition attempts of Trixie and the Tricks (a fully queer band trio) across Sparkway City as they try to get a permanent gig to perform with, this game is based on Guitar Hero and Rhythm Heaven Fever, lol.

Things to note: either I'll have to compose the music myself or someone may have to help here...

Game 4: Carved (title in progress)

A survival horror game that starts off nice enough, but quickly goes south as you have to escape the area you spent your whole life in. Inspired in design by Into the Pit. Yes I watched a playthrough, hush. The style fits what I'd be going with.

I'm working on the game design document for the four as it is, don't worry about it

♪ - For a short drabble about my character singing yours a lullaby. 

"Do it." 

"No." 

"Do it." 

"No." 

"Do it." 

"No, Thomas. Stop!" Olivia snapped, turning to push him away by extending her arm and he only responded with a chuckle. "I’m trying to sleep. You should too." She said, in a softer tone this time as she turned her back at him again and fixed the pillow under her head. She had been trying to convince him for what seemed like the twentieth time that she wasn’t going to do anything except for sleeping in the next few hours—or at least. Needless to say she was exhausted and Olivia knew he was too, except for the fact that he was going through the syndrome were he was so tired he couldn’t even sleep. Both of them had spent the entire day on the road, continuing with their plan to drive from coast to coast during the rest of the summer. And while that was incredibly fun, her back was definitely paying the debt. Especially in the mattress they were both sleeping in that definitely wasn’t the semi-orthopedic one she had at home. She even judged herself for sounding so spoiled, but both of them accepted the fact that there were no Four Seasons near where they were at the moment. For the past hour or so, Thomas had been tossing and turning relentlessly worse than a tornado and Olivia was losing her patience, even though it wasn’t entirely his fault. He just continued to insist that she had to help him and his suggestion was far away from what she was expecting.

"Liv, please. Just once. You owe me." Thomas insisted in his usual teasing tone and if she hadn’t had her eyes closed she would’ve rolled them. Olivia could feel Thomas looking over her shoulder, knowing that she was far from asleep. Apparently he wasn’t going to give up. 

"I owe you nothing. That was a mistake." She said, giving up and facing him again. "You are so annoying sometimes. Just because you can’t sleep does that mean I can’t sleep too?" She complained, frowning at him. Thomas smiled down at her and nodded. "Thanks for letting me know." Liv replied with a heavy sigh. 

"So, are you going to?" He said one more time, breaking the silence. "You know, maybe this could help to you…snappiness." 

"I’m not being snappy." Olivia countered, giving him a surprised look. 

"Oh, yes you are. You’ve been like that since the moment I told you were in the men’s bathroom." He shot back while trying to contain his laugh again. 

Liv glared at Thomas. “Can you not remind me of that? Those were the most embarrassing three minutes of my life. And in my defense the sign was broken.” 

"Come on it was funny." He said between laughs, and after rolling her eyes she accepted it and began to laugh along with him. "See? This is why you should help me sleep. You do owe me." Thomas added, hoping she’d oblige. 

Olivia groaned. “Having me singing a lullaby to you isn’t going to make you sleep. It’s going to give you nightmares. Plus, I don’t even know any lullabies.” She responded, looking at the sealing while crossing her arms. “You really can’t sleep?” Asked the girl, looking at him sideways. Thomas could feel her surrendering, so he shook his head in response. “And you’re really not going to let me sleep until you make fun of my voice?” She added.

"I would never make fun of your voice. I’m offended." He said, pressing a hand against his chest, pretending that she had hurt his feelings. Yeah, right. She thought.

"Fine, I’ll do it." Liv sighed, giving up on the fact that it was that or having him zapping through the channels on the tv like there was no tomorrow.

Thomas grinned at her. “Can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with, Callaway.” He said.

"Shut up, come here." Olivia replied, motioning for him to rest his head on her lap. "Let’s get this over with. Like I said, I’ve never been sang a lullaby before so this is bound to be a disaster. Don’t laugh or you won’t get any in the next one hundred miles." She spoke while figuring out what could she even sing. 

"I’m waiting." Thomas insisted after a few seconds of silence, still wearing that smug smile that only he could pull off. Liv just shushed him and said: "I think I got it." 

"I’m having trouble sleeping, you’re jumping in my bed. Jumping in my bed…leave me." Olivia began to sing in the lowest voice possible and a small smile threatened to form on her sleep. She was about to continue when Thomas interrupted. 

"What kind of song is that?" 

"Who cares? It’s about not sleeping." She responded with shrug. "Okay, I’ll try something else." Liv said, thinking of another song. "Oh. Talking away, I don’t know what I’m to say. I’ll say it anyway. Today isn’t my day to find you. Shying away. I’ll be coming for your love, okay?" At the end she finished with a chuckled and looked down at him. 

"You’re giving me some the 80’s greatest hits now?" He asked. "Don’t. I’m about to give up. I’m not good at this." Liv smiled sheepishly. "Why in the world would you want a lullaby from me. You know I can’t even deal with karaoke." 

"I guess I just wanted something to make fun off while having insomnia." He replied. "That and—I do think you have a lovely voice." Thomas send a wink at her. 

Olivia remained quiet after that, feeling herself smile like an idiot. “Okay…”

"But since you suck at lullabies, what about a movie?" 

"You’re going to search through the channels for the next hour?" 

"Probably."

"What did I do to deserve this?" Liv whined. 

"I guess we’ll have to see." He answered before pulling her over to kiss her.

Male duh bc liv needs another boy in her life. 

General Appearance: 

He is tall for his age with light brown hair that he hates to brush just like his father and he has deep blue eyes with thick dark lashes like his mother. His features and mostly resemble the exact looks of Thomas and Olivia sort of jokes all the time by saying that she’s definitely the stranger in the house, since none of their children are a carbon copy like her. One more reason to make Thomas brag about their children though she hopes one day to be blessed with a brown eyed member in the family. 

Personality:

When it comes to his personality, Brendan is slightly different from his parents. Something that would never stop surprising them. Although, he does share several qualities from both of them, unlike his parents who preferred partying and mingling with other people during their teen years, Brendan never found interest in mundane things and instead he focused on learning everything he could that would be useful for future plans. He’s academically exceptional and is very determined to get what he wants, earning him spots at the top of almost everything. Most of the time he has trouble finding limits when it comes to that. His intelligence can sometimes be either a bless or a curse to his parents, due to the fact that he often uses it against them to his advantage. He’s very serious at times and that often comes out as arrogance, which causes him trouble with people but once they get to know him they realize that he also has his mother’s non-stop sarcastic humor and his father’s uncanny ability to attract the opposite sex. Even though girls aren’t really at the top of his agenda, he doesn’t complain at all about their attention. 

Special Talents:

He’s capable of succeeding in everything related to school. He’s also a technology wizard and a great chess player from a very young age. He doesn’t have any affinity when it comes to art, but he knows how to play the piano. Growing up he used to play soccer and polo, but soccer has definitely stayed more time with him. 

Who they like better:

Even though he developed a very independent personality, Brendan is very close to his mother and he’s definitely spoiled by her. He looks for her approval most of the time, even though he takes advantage sometimes of her weakness of saying no to him. He shares a different relationship with his father, which is more like a friendship and they often use it against Olivia just to mess with her. 

Who they take after more:

Brendan has a very unique persona for himself, but depending on the situation everyone would be able to recognize either of his parents on him. However, due to his looks, Thomas seems to win the bet against Olivia most of the time. 

Personal Headcanon:

He is most likely to be the one to fall in love with a “commoner” and then bring her into their world. That obviously wouldn’t bother his parents at all, but his grandparents would change the story completely.

Bonus headcanon cause i can: In private, Thomas and Olivia often joke about the fact that they managed to have a “nerd” son and how different he turned out to be from them.
