"spence, i'm tired and you should be too" you should've known that spencer's 'quick route home' would involve going past the library, and that spencer would just have to go in. he'd been away for a few days working a case in nevada, he should want to put his feet up and rest but no. this was spencer.

you planted your feet firmly on the ground, he carried on, holding your hand until he realised you'd stopped behind him. "i'll be two seconds. i'm just seeing if someone's returned that book i told you about, i've been wanting for weeks." he's doing his puppy eyes. he knows exactly how to charm you. it's working.

"fine, but we're playing a game of chess while we're here. i've been practicing and i for sure know how to beat you now" you walk up to him and kiss his cheek, before walking hand-in-hand towards the library doors.

"oh i don't doubt it." he smiles. liar. but then so are you. you both know he'll win at chess.

Yess I do have my own very specific version of the VT universe I am so glad you asked

There is a lot of lore that lives in my mind that I love thinking about and talking about but I'm SO bad at putting it all into words

I have very specific ideas especially about the whole Back From The Dead thing with Billy and how it effects the world they all live in, and that heavily ties into my version of Gavin and why he does the things he does

And then everything with Stardust Sprinkleshine is like it's own thing I love talking and thinking about

I wanna flesh out stuff more but I tend to fixate on a single thing or character or idea at a time and that makes it a little difficult for me to fully flesh everything out

I do follow some of the canon lore stuff but I love coming up with my own things too !! :D

Forgive me my memory is a little fuzzy but did you do a character analysis post on jordanna Spence?? It might have been an analysis of Stephanie/batgirl 2009 in general that just included jordanna spence though, if you know what I’m talking about could you link that post because I cannot find it, if it even exists that is 😭 sorry for the trouble.. after seeing aliteralchickens comic book covers of Jordanna im obsessed with her and trying to seek out as much meta analysis as I can about her lol

I'm not sure if character analysis is the right word, though it does go over every one of her appearances, but yes, I did do a fairly long post on Jordanna's poor treatment over the course of Batgirl (2009) and why it's ragingly sexist.
