Personal + Writing Update [a ramble]

First of all, can we just appreciate how glorious this man is? Just look at him. The white shirt is driving me crazy.

Second, I'm sorry I haven't been as active on here these days. I've been trying very hard to keep up with the classes that I teach instead of pushing it all to the last minute. I am by nature a procrastinator, so this is hard for me. But now it's Spring Break so I have some time for myself. So that means I'm going to get some good reading and writing done. Much of my writing and its tone are affected by the things that I've been reading. So to me, reading is a big part of my writing process. Anyhow, I am almost done with a sick!aaron fic! then after that, I have an aaron!smut planned and then hurt!aaron. So the ideas are there for sure!

I just want to thank everyone for your support. You mean so so much to me. I love coming on here every day and reading and writing in this amazing community.

A spring break adventure begins!!

Spring Break! I’m happy to be on break but there is no rest for me yet. During this time I will have to:

1. Reach Chapter 8 of Health Psychology

2. Finish Journal Article Reviews 2 and 3

3. Finish Current & Future Directions in Health Psychology Essay

- I personally struggle with writing. Always have. But I think I’ve found a way to help me organize my writing by coming up with questions and then finding the answers. By ‘answers’ I mean finding evidence that supports my claim but also the answer to the question that I asked. I think I’m gonna call it the Q & A Outline 😁

4. Take notes on past chapter readings

Also now that I’m on spring break, I need to get back into doing the things I used to enjoy such as painting and playing video games. Growing up, I loved playing Sonic the Hedgehog video games because they were such a HUGE comfort to me. Plus, he’s a blue hedgehogs that runs faster than the speed of sound. Not to mention the video game OST’s of the Sonic the Hedgehog games are 💣

But I’m still addicted to Fall Out Boy!

No connection

Does anyone truly know themselves? Do they really know who they are? Can they answer all of the questions asked? The mirror in my bathroom has seen my ups and downs, my ins and outs, but do I know myself just as well as my mirror does? Do I know only the outside of my being? Can I answer the questions I ask myself? Have you seen all of my ups and downs? I look into my mind and try to find out who I am, but I get no answer. I try my hardest to surmount this mind that is supposed to be mine, but I come to a dead end. Do I know anything about myself? If you asked me who I really am or what goals I have in life, I don't think I could answer. I know nothing about me. I have given up what has made me happy for useless things. But. Can I be upset? Let's be honest, I am the one to blame. My walls of steel are so strong that not even I can break them. I have guarded myself from the world, too scared to be hurt, only to realize that all this time I've learned nothing about myself because I hid it so well. So if you ask me a question about who I am or what I want in life, I will lie and tell you that what I want in life is to be happy and healthy. I will tell you that all I want is good grades and a great job. I don't have any real answers to your questions. Is it just me? Am I really the only one who can't connect??
