So many cops show up for just 5 women holding signs. ❌False Arrest❌ ❌Malicious Prosecution by @constable_mark_herman ❌ 🐖 On 4/18 at 3:15pm officers arrived at a slaughterhouse vigil and arrested two activists for class c trespassing based on statements made by the slaughterhouse workers that they had attempted to tear down a fence- in the middle of the day at a protest. The judge stated they had no probable cause for arrest and charges were dropped. NOW, the Precinct 4 Constables Office has reopened the case, raised to charges to Trespassing WITH Entry, and issued warrants for the arrest of three activists. 🐖 In no way did these activists come anywhere close to trespassing on this slaughterhouse property.
