hey, i didn’t know NICK ROBINSON had moved to st. clementine ! oh wait, that’s just EZRA LYNCH. the 23 year old CISMALE is a BARTENDER and rumor has it that HE dreams of MAKING A NEW LIFE FOR HIMSELF. i heard a tarot reader once claimed their card was THE MAGICIAN, which makes sense considering their CHARMING yet DELUDING ways. wonder what this town has in store for them ?

so yeah, this is ezra – his parents figured that mayhaps a child could save their marriage n that’s why he,, exists ?? asjdfa (( spoiler alert; didn’t work out n they got divorced when he was like,, fourteen ))

ig you could say he was spoiled as a child; his parents never let him want for anything. but they fought a lot, and neither of their hearts were really in it to bring up a child, so ezra never got the attention he wanted or the affection he craved, i.e. no one tucked him into bed, no one helped him w his homework, no one held him when he was scared or sick or tired etc.

so what did lil attention starved ezra do, you ask ?? he used his bright head and his charismatic personality to charm people to their knees. once he started school he made friends w all his friends’ parents, and had standing invitations to dinners and family game nights and the like. the attention he didn’t get at home, he sought out elsewhere.

he was like twelve or smthn when he got into sleight of hand magic after falling in love w it while at a magic show, seeing how mesmerized the audience where. he too wanted to drawn people in like that, and make magic happen before their eyes.

in high school he made friends w everyone by telling stories that weren’t lies, just twisted and tweaked to make them prettier and more interesting. he also made a name for himself by pulling out some coins or a deck of cards at parties, making it a side hustle to let people who were sure they’d figured out how he did his tricks put their money where their mouth was.

ezra scored a scholarship to an out of state university and peaced tf out of his hometown. at college his stories got bigger and more golden and felt more like lies, but he earned his in w every crowd and even if someone didn’t know him, they knew off him. 

the first term of his third year, both his parents passed away. none of his friends could recognize the boy he became over the span of those months. they were used to the flashy and eccentric ezra, always smiling and cracking jokes and making light of every situation. so when he didn’t reach out to them, they didn’t reach out to him either.

after the aftermath of his parents’ deaths were sorted out, and he’d declined his university’s offer to come back, ezra decided that he wanted to disappear. his vanishing act took the form of using a chunk of the substantial amount of money left to him by his parents to buy an appartment in an old beach town in england, and a one way ticket out of america.

in st. clementine he got a job as a bartender, and slipped into his old ways of drawing people in w a smile and then wrapping them up in shining stories that weren’t really lies.

tl;dr: ezra lynch is a fake ass hoe w some cheap magic tricks up his sleeve who runs away from his problems and he is in desperate need of a hug !!!!!!

hey, i didn’t know LEE TAEYONG had moved to st. clementine ! oh wait, that’s just ELIAS RHIE. the TWENTY-THREE year old CISMALE is a GROCERY STORE CLERK and rumor has it that HE/HIM dreams of BECOMING A COMIC BOOK ARTIST. i heard a tarot reader once claimed their card was THE HERMIT, which makes sense considering their MULTIFACETED yet RECLUSIVE ways. wonder what this town has in store for them ? - alright so let’s start with a quick brief history run down on the lad

- single child, grew up with his mother, doesn’t know the whereabouts of his father and spent a lot of his childhood dreaming him up and trying to fill up for the void he left in his life

- his mother and him have a strained relationship mostly because she wasn’t there for elias in ways he needed her to be. there’s nothing bitter about their relationship though, elias has only love for her in his heart even though he doesn’t want to ever live with her again

- left home when he was 18 by telling his mother he was going to ‘camp’  after his high school graduation, and building a life of odd lies from there on. his mother had stopped being involved in elias’ life a long time ago and they’d grown distant in recent years so it’s enough for him to sustain the cover. he hasn’t visited home since

- his mother had a boyfriend that elias hated the guts of, and they conceived a child together that only served to magnify a lot of the abandonment issues elias already felt. however, they suffered a miscarriage and that seemed to be the last severing tie between salvaging any sort of closeness between elias and his mother

- ok enough about the fam. in st. clementine, he works as a grocery store clerk ( and may, per chance, lowkey -- be a drug runner on the dl cause a boy’s gotta eat ), but his true passion is drawing and art

- he’s always got his sketchbook on him, and in a perfect world he’d be a comic book artist. though elias always treats that dream as “unattainable” and hasn’t really done much to actually reach it

- ok a lil bit more about his personality 

- elias has this tendency to color his hair bright colors, dress a little on the eccentric side – he feels like if he stakes claims to his skin, claims his body, being alone won’t feel so much like a cut he can’t patch up. he doesn’t know how to settle his chest long enough to be alright with having people in his life, but maybe if the way he dresses in a way that keeps the eyes on him for a little longer – maybe that’s some way to make up for the rest of the emptiness he wraps around his shoulders for security 

- so much about elias is – undecided. his faith, his sexuality, how he views essentially all of the world. he spent his whole life wanting to be wanted, so he never really learned what it was to be himself. his journey now has a lot to do with building himself up piece by piece, stitching those together and learning how to make a home of his body again

- elias is lonely by his own choice – but he’s also alone because he doesn’t know if he ever wants to let someone else’s desires of / for him define him ever again

grew up with loving and very religious parents so church was a fixed part of his life for many years

even as a kid he could never rly be tamed and always was up to no good but that was his sweet charm in a way lol

the only times he was ever quiet were probably during mass and prayer lmao so that enforced his parents’ thought that their faith can only do him good

lived a pretty happy, carefree and adventurous life till his parents divorced when he was,,,,,13 maybe??? what is a fixed timeline i don’t know her

he was never an amazing student but started slacking even more and above all he started losing his faith bc marriage is a holy bond innit ??? blessed by god???? why did he allow his parents to part hmmmm *press X to doubt*

shit really hit the fan when his mother died not long after, maybe when he was 15???

more than ever before he wanted to shed his church boy image and started to get into fights, hang out with kids older than him who introduced him to alcohol and smoking n all that bad jazz !!

his church attendance basically dropped to 0 which really hurt his father but he always felt responsible for how things turned out so he didn’t really fight against the way vincent was behaving ? ? ? big mistake

he left for london with the little money he had saved at the age of 18 or 19 and his bad habits only got worse in the big city lmao he met the wrong people, went to the wrong places and did the wrong things

basically couldn’t handle the big city life as a lil st. clementine boy and came back when he was around 21

his uncle gave him the opportunity for an apprentinceship @ his bike shop which he recently finished and now works there fulfilling all your motorbike needs dsjhfdj

aaron lee, twenty-three, strength

born and raised in london, new malden, he is the result of a cute little love story between a korean restaurant waitress (heesun) and a postgrad student (jaesik) but this all went down the drain bye

jaesik turned out to be a part-time abusive/cheating son of a bitch. he also teaches economics i guess

heesun got a lot of shit from the man and she endured it all, which got on aaron’s nerves and while he spent a big deal of time out, he never left home because he felt he had an obligation towards his mom

went to nice schools and stuff because of her :( she had this dream of him also turning into prof like jaesik OK I THINK TF NOT GIRL

then again he was also a mess that always got into trouble for being a little shit bold and fighting people and basically anything that would drive jaesik nuts (almost getting arrested, dropping out of university, ruining his future...)

BUT THEN DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS heesun was diagnosed with lymphoma which deteriorated her health and she unfortunately passed away

i think he will always find this as the greatest display of unfairness by the universe

on the other hand, aaron finally got his chance to tell his dad to fuck off and without any ties to jaesik and london, he took the little money he and heesun once put together in order to leave and followed the plan by himself

he went from town to town until he reached st. clementine (MAYBE MAGIC TOLD HIM TO STAY but he doesn’t believe in any of that ok miss scully)

has been living in the island for 2-3 years now and currently he feeds his instagram account with his photographs (back then he used to be into activist art and will sometimes do work for this cause)

personality wise he is lol - you would never imagine all that anger and violence reside in him

aaron follows his own rules and no one else tells him what to do NI DIEU NI MAÎTRE

volatile personality and anger management issues

he has ~mellowed out ever since he settled down, but will still fuck you up, break your nose, make you cry, destroy your car, etc.

father’s teachings kind of stuck around, but to a higher degree, so he ended up professing his love for anarcho-communism (joined the af in great britain and ireland at some point)

his idealism turns him into a (blood) knight in shining armor and won’t hesitate to stand up for others treated unjustly

noah is an absolute gem of a human . in short, he’s super lovely and super dedicated to his friends, he has all the time in the world for you if you need him -- he lives to make people smile ( it’s why he’s in the profession he is ) and it’s rare to see him down or upset

he had a uh ....... unique childhood growing up

his mother died in a pretty traumatic childbirth which his father has forever blamed noah for, but he’s never told noah this, he misses his mum but moreso misses ... the idea of her rather than her as a person since he never met her. he’s a mummy’s boy regardless JNDEWJN

his father is the og magician, at the start he loved it for all the right reasons -- noah would tag along to all his shows and watch from the sidelines as his dad made people laugh and cheer and beam

he loves LOVES his job !!!! he’s always doing card tricks n making magic happen just bc he loves to make people smile, he’s such a sunshine baby is noah honestly he’s so kind n he has a heart of gold asdfgdnja 

daddy james didn’t earn much and so noah grew up poor -- he never really minded tho, need not want not etc etc, he was a simple boy who would always be happy so long as he had magic in his life

everything was Fine and Dandy in his life until his dad went anakin on his ass n turned to the dark side of magic aka illusions and manipulations

he wanted more money and he hated the life that had been left for him in the wake of his wife’s death (noah’s mother, a doctor, had always provided most of their income) and so when he was approached for more sinister illusions he jumped on it right away

basically rather than using illusions and magic to steal rabbits outta hats and people’s wallets he steals ppls actual money and their damn souls instead bc he also turns to hypnotism?? if any of u have seen derren brown thats what he does eh ehe heheheh i’m so bad at explaining

he also turned to rly ... dangerous stuff ..... i.e. hypnotising someone into acting out of his will rather than their own which led to a lot of ~ criminal activity ~ including, but not limited to, murder and violence

noah does ..... know how to use hypnosis on a v mild level compared to his father bc he taught him some stuff before noah was like uhhh lol dad whats this ab ?????

en knee way his dad got involved in shady af stuff and noah was not ab that life so as soon as he turned 18 he RAN AWAY and that’s how he found st clemetine !!!!!!! 

he currently works for hire for kids parties etc and the odd drunken hen do but he doesn’t earn much, he came to st clemetine very poor since he left with nothing and so he also works at a cafe to pay his bills

so first thing’s first .. griffin’s real name is kieran son. he was born in ireland to his two biological korean parents, and his father is a contract killer with quite the debt (which is why he works with what he does)

adam, kieran’s father, always knew the dangers of his line of work, and he figured he could train his son into one day taking over so he could retreat and be an asshole in peace

so kieran was trained brutally to become the ultimate murder machine, and his mom could only stand by and watch w tears in her eyes as her son was kicked and hurt and bruised by her husband’s hand

the boy slowly turns cold, absent, and whilst he knows what he’s doing is wrong he can’t find it in himself to stand up to the murderer he calls dad. he knows that his words have no power here, and so he tries his best to destroy himself — maybe this will mean acceptance 

kieran is 14 when a session goes horribly wrong, and his father punishes him for his sloppy mistakes in a fit of anger. acid flies and kieran screams as he attempts to claw his own eye out — he would’ve succeeded had it not been for his mother stepping in and knocking adam out long enough for her to escape with kieran

he turns blind on his left eye, but he knows he’s lucky: there’s not much beauty to see anymore after all. his mother travels with him, changes his name for every new town, and teaches him to be human again — to feel, to love, to be

then one day it all crashes and burns as it inevitably must. adam finds them, and just like that kieran’s mother is gone. the boy runs, knowing he can’t save her — but maybe he can save himself if he can shed himself. kieran dies with her, and in his place griffin moon is born

he stumbles upon st. clementine by chance and is immediately drawn to the mysterious yet safe pull of the town, and for once he thinks maybe he has found a home. he knows the danger he’s putting the town in and all the residents, because surely his dad is still after him, but he is under this weird impression that st. clementine would save him if it came to it?? as if his ass deserves it??

he now works at the local bar because he can’t really do much else ahfmksd

personality-wise griffin is really Trying™ ok he’s actually a super kind and soft and supportive person, but he is also share characteristics with his dad .. he has a temper and can get super violent, but he’s trying so hard to kill that part of him 

he’s that person who won’t ever reveal a single thing about himself but will do it in such a way that u won’t even notice or care. one day griffin was just there and everyone was fine w that

u’ll find him with his friends most of the time bc he doesn’t deal w loneliness very well, or occasionally he’ll be found sitting underneath an oak tree drawing whilst listening to sufjan stevens

life wasn’t anything special in their youth. they were pretty sheltered by their parents and rather enjoyed that.

only had one group of friends during their childhood, and they became sort of their safety blanket and comfort zone when they needed it.

always got odd looks for the way they talked, acted and dressed, something that never really bothered them and they learned to tune it out pretty quickly

one night at a party riley passed out on a bed and woke up with someone on top of them. even though they tried, they were too out of it to push him off.

after that riley isolated themselves and basically obsessed over that moment until they nearly broke. all they could do was try and rethink it so that they could figure out where it all went wrong.

after a while, however, something changed, and riley felt like they were living again. they moved out of their parents house and to st. clementine where they began a new life.

they focused on everything pretty and happy they had felt in their life, and that became their new safety blanket. instead of hiding it, they stopped caring, because no one knew them in st. clementine and they could be whomever they wanted.

basically: was a cute, became a bit sad, got even cuter. the biggest, sweetest baby
