Good Morning from Scotland
Sgorr Tuath Dawn by James Grant Via Flickr: Sometimes getting out of bed a little earlier rewards you well with a pre-sunrise glow to any clouds in the sky, just like this day. Below the summit of Sgorr Tuath in the Coigach region I was stood with amazing view over to Assynt. The mountains of Cul Beag, Cul Mor and Suilven loomed awaiting the first light of day. An amazing experience. My Website - James Grant Photography Also Follow Me at **Facebook* *Twitter**500px* *EPZ*.

2016 - My Year In Review - Or is it?!
So, I’m a little late to the party writing this blog. It’s now the 5th of January and no doubt you’ve seen and read many photographer’s blogs or posts on their favourite images of 2016. The truth is, I was away in Scotland until the 2nd January and since then I have been trying to catch up.
2016 for me is a funny year to look back on. On a personal level it wasn’t the best but it has hopefully…

Good evening, Last week I headed up to the Assynt and Coigach area of Scotland to recce some locations for a potential future workshop in the area. Also, it is always great to get to some mountain tops and grab some shots of course! We were well rewarded on our first few days with some amazing conditions so we pushed ourselves and made the most of them. After a 10-hour drive on the first day, we quickly got kitted up and headed up Sgorr Tuath which in the end took us a little longer than expected. We just made it up for sunset and took some shots and set up camp for the night. The following morning we did a sunrise there too, which this shot is from. This rock pinnacle is an icon for the very few who have lugged a camera up there and something that would have been very hard to resist. After a patient wait for the sun to get high enough, the light eventually hit the pinnacle and made all the difference with a great view over to Stac Polliadh and Suilven in the distance. I stood there, looking at Suilven thinking "I'm never going to make it up there today" but as you may have saw, I did make it up on the same day and was very well rewarded the next morning. Keep an eye out for that shot in the coming days. ✖️Stac Polliadh, Scotland. . . . . . . . . . #highlandcollective #frenchfolks #scotlandshots #voyageursdumonde #icu_scotland #natgeotravel #freshairclub #vscofolk #welivetoexplore #exploretocreate #neverstopexploring #stayandwander #hiddenscotland #LoveScotland #empara #thisisscotland #exploremore #doyoutravel #modernoutdoors #wonderlustscotland #keepexploring #liveoutdoor #travelawesome #adventurethatislife #visitscotland #mist_vision #traveling_scotland (à Scottish Highlands)
