Okay, letโs get real for a second. If your WiFi constantly drops when you walk into a different roomโor if your kid is rage-quitting because Minecraft wonโt load AGAINโyouโre not alone. I was in the same boat, ready to throw my old router out the window.
Then I upgraded to the TP-Link Deco BE63 WiFi 7 Mesh Systemโฆ and honestly? Total game-changer. Itโs like going from dial-up in 2002 to warp speed in 2025. Iโve been using it daily for weeks now, and hereโs the honest lowdown on what itโs really like.

๐ก Pros & Cons in Plain English
โ
What I Loved:
โก Blazing-fast WiFi 7 speeds (seriously, up to 10 Gbps!)
๐ก Great coverage for large homes
๐ Four 2.5G Ethernet ports per unit = flexible setup
๐ฑ Smooth, idiot-proof app interface
๐ Sleek design that doesnโt scream โtech nerd lives hereโ
๐ Future-ready with 320 MHz channels & MLO
๐ฐ Actually affordable for what it offers (-30% $419.98)
โ ๏ธ Heads-Up On These:
๐ Speeds can dip through thick walls or at long range
๐ฅ๏ธ No web interface (app-only control)
๐ธ Home Shield Pro subscription needed for advanced features after free trial
๐ถ Youโll need WiFi 7-compatible devices to fully max it out
๐ง Mid-range WiFi 7 systemโnot as powerful as the pricier Deco BE85
๐ฌ Real-User Buzz
Amazon and Reddit are full of rave reviews:
โInsanely fast and setup was done in 5 minutes.โ โCovers my 3-story house without a hiccup.โ โWish there was a web interfaceโฆ but everything else is awesome.โ
Some users in massive homes mentioned occasional dropoutsโbut in 9/10 cases, that was fixed by better node placement or hardwiring the backhaul.
๐งญ Should You Buy the TP-Link Deco BE63?
โ
Get it if:
Youโve got Gig+ or multi-gig internet
Your household has tons of devices streaming and gaming
You work from home or hate lag on Zoom
You want WiFi 7 now, but not at a luxury price
You appreciate good design + easy setup
โ Skip it if:
You live in a huge mansion and need maximum range (get the BE85 instead)
You like manual web-based router controls
You donโt own any WiFi 7 devices yet (youโll benefit, but not get full speeds)
๐ Final Verdict: A No-Brainer for Most Homes
The TP-Link Deco BE63 is pretty much the sweet spot for mesh routers in 2025: fast, sleek, easy to use, and reasonably priced. No, itโs not the most powerful system on the planetโbut it doesnโt try to be.
What it isโฆ is practical, powerful, and perfect for the average household. You get all the futureproof tech (WiFi 7, 320 MHz, MLO, 2.5G ports), without the headache of complex setup or a scary price tag.

tarlink Installation Buxton.
Fixed price of ยฃ200.00
Here we have a Starlink fitted by Andy and Ethan in Buxton Derbyshire.
Customer was just a week from moving in and had done some research on Internet at his new home but found out the offering from BT etc was not enough for his work needs as so had gone along with Starlink after a bit of assurance from us on the phone that it was a stable internet platform.
He ordered the equipment and we arranged an installation a week before he moved in so he would have working internet for work when he moved in. We installed the dish out of the way up on the chimney at the customers request to the chimney isn't active, speeds were up at 280mbs so very impressive and best we have seen.
We also set his wireless TP Link x50 mesh system up to give coverage around the property and even achieving 240mbs on the other side of house.
Very good setup and one very happy customer.
For more info or to book in an installation in Buxton or surrounding area feel free to get in touch.

Home Networks from Starlink.
Here we have a new complete home network installation carried out by Andy and Ethan from a Starlink fitted the previous week.
We installed the starlink which was a pretty straightforward installation up on a pole mount down and into the lounge room which had the normal 3 foot thick well built walls.
The house was not very large but had internal walls of just under 3 foot solid stone walls and using the upgraded app by Starlink the Wi-Fi wouldnโt see through one wall. He had however ordered a mesh router from Starlink which again is a complete waste of money due to being a wireless mesh node only. We advised him to order the Tp Link Deco S7 mesh routers from Amazon and arranged to come back to install the system for him using the backhaul facility.
We installed 4 RJ45 sockets along with a brush plate for starlink in the lounge and then 4 CAT 6 cables around the property to the locations with the WI-FI dead spots and then installed another RJ45 socket to make a permanent installation.
After this was complete we helped the customer install the mesh routers then plugged them all into the sockets and bang 220 mbs virtually every single inch of the property.
One very happy client with his gsm router getting sent back to 02.

Starlink Installers Stockport.
Here we have an unusual install of Starlink into an old cottage in Cheadle, Stockport by engineers Andy and Ethan.
The client had lived in the property for a couple of years and had dealt with a poor offering from BT offering about 10mbs max due to the location and planning issues with installing new lines. Cable was a no go and the gsm route offered next to nothing. As the 2 children in the home started using PlayStations etc and a couple of TVs were trying to stream Netflix etc the system couldnโt cope and so they took the plunge into Starlink.
The customer had contacted us for advice and then ordered from Starlink and it all arrived within 2 weeks along with the Ethernet adapter.
Starlink dish was fitted up on to the chimney to get past the trees and fitted securely using a heavy duty cradle and lashing kit and pole. The dish was up and running within an hour and fitted down to the customers living room and will be all hidden inside a media wall that is due to be constructed shortly.
Due to the thicknesss of the walls and it being quite a large property the customer opted for a same day installation of 4 Deco mesh system backhauled over Cat 6 with fitted RJ45 sockets to make a permanent installation. In the lounge 3 cat6 cables were terminated into sockets along with the starlink and these were routed externally and again terminated into RJ45 sockets. In the lounge the starlink was routed into the primary Deco and from there into a network switch and then into the sockets. In the 3 rooms a single Deco node was installed and connected in.
The speeds were fantastic with roughly 180mbs wherever we went in the property the PlayStations are going to be Ethernet connected into the Deco as 2 spare Ethernet sockets on each.
Very happy client with a whole house Starlink mesh system.

Starlink Installation Tarporley.
Here we have a Starlink install fitted in Tarporley Cheshire in a remote location where the customer was just moving in but had decided on Starlink as his provider due to needing a reliable connection for work.
The Starlink dish was installed up on the chimney due to trees close by and cable routed down the front of the property to the office room.
Due to the size of the building the customer had ordered the TP Link Deco S7 AC 1900 Mesh system, the customer wanted the best possible from his Mesh network and speeds so opted for a whole house CAT 6 wiring with RJ45 sockets in each room so can be unplugged if needed also more permanent installation.
The Starlink was wired into a first deco and put into to router mode then into first Deco through a TP link network switch then plugged into the 5 RJ45 sockets. The CAT6 cables were routed externally and fed to other rooms where another RJ45 socket was fitted.
The Starlink was achieving 220mbs and due to the hard wired connections the same speeds all through the house the deco units all have to spare Ethernet ports that can be connected to TVs or computers etc.
From nothing to High Speed internet throughout the home in freezing conditions but a very happy customer.
