I’m Starting a Fish Farm — And I Need Your Help
This isn’t a trendy startup. This is a pond. A shovel. A plan. And a dream.
I’m building a fish pond farm from the ground up — literally — to create food, local jobs, and a sustainable business in a place that needs all three.
I’m not a big company. I don’t have investors. I built a free website and started asking for help because that’s how real things begin.
💧 If you’ve ever had to start with nothing, you’ll understand this.
👉 fishfarmfund.netlify.app
Every dollar counts. Every share helps.
If you’ve got $5, I’ll put it toward building something that feeds people. If you’ve got faith, I’ll turn it into action.

Insights from Tech101 Week 2
Hello, my Keyomi’s!! What’s up, you guys?
I’m back with some hot business tea that you NEED to hear! So, I recently stumbled upon this super insightful video about team formation in startups, and let me tell you, it was a total game-changer. If you’ve ever dreamed of launching your own business or just wondered how successful teams are built, then keep reading because this one’s for you!
First things first is before hiring anyone, you need to choose the right co-founder. This person isn’t just your business partner; they’re your ride-or-die in the entrepreneurial journey. The video laid out three key questions to ask: Are they smart? Do they get things done? And most importantly, do I actually want to spend a LOT of time with them? Because let’s be real, starting a company together is like a marriage, minus the honeymoon phase. Communication, determination, and trust are everything.
Once you’ve locked in your co-founder, it’s time to assemble the ultimate dream team. Enter the Hipster, Hacker, and Hustler trio! The Hipster is your creative guru—the one who makes sure your brand stands out and actually connects with people. The Hacker is the tech wizard who builds and runs the product (because no tech, no startup). And finally, the Hustler is your sales and networking pro—the one who gets investors, makes money moves, and convinces the world your startup is the next big thing. With these three on your side, you’ve got a team that’s ready to take over the world!
But here’s the real deal—hiring the best people is only half the battle. Keeping them? That’s where the challenge comes in. The video emphasized how crucial it is to create a work environment where people feel valued, inspired, and excited to stay. Because trust me—if you don’t, someone else will snap them up in no time.
And if you’re the CEO, your job isn’t just about making decisions. You’ve got five key responsibilities: setting the vision, raising money, evangelizing (aka hyping up your business), hiring and managing people, and making sure everything is actually getting done. When you focus on these five, your startup has a real shot at success.
Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how important it is to keep the best people around? A great team can turn a simple idea into the next big thing, but only if you create an environment where they wanna stay. And hey, who knows? Maybe YOU will be the next big CEO we’ll all be talking about. 🤩 If you’re passionate about startups, leadership, or just wanna level up in life, this might be your sign to start learning, start networking, and start building!
Let’s keep it cute, keep it kalog, and keep making boss moves! 💕
