"Jeeeeez. So the "best phighter in Crossroads" took THIS long to show his face? Shame Coil, shame." - @bovine-brawler

he quickly rushed to place something back in his pockets, a nervous look on his face
“ah, Steam! uhm… y’seem busy do you need me t’ come some other time?-”
a small, hesitant knock was heard on Steam’s door
- @fearless-fisticuffs
-> Steam blinks and looks up from what he was doing, pushing up his welder's mask and turning off his blow torch. He brushed his work gloves off on his apron as he moved towards the front door. "Comin'!" -> Soon enough the bull opened the door, smiling down at Coil. "Hey puppy dog! What's up?"

Ok! I uphold my promise with my next costume:
Handycookie of the Year!
This outfit's design was inspired by a mix of things first the hat, gloves and screwdriver were inspired by @desperatelittledemon design, the pants homages Croissant Cookie, and the suit above the torso is inspired by an steampunk costme I saw in a costume store once (can't remember the costume's name tho).
Here is Handy Y/N with their interactions with the other members either Timekeeper's mischief causing problems whenthey were JUST there, or asking questions or their concerns on the other divisions in the department.
"Crumbs. (Sonic drowning theme plays)"
Yep right from @brittle-doughie's blurb here. I don't think I need to say much else XD.
So, these last two was me (again) experimenting with poses and positioning, with the first having Handy Y/N fixing something I don't know cause I can't even see it and their head now has depth to it, feels weird to look at. The second has Handy Y/N in a workplace accident, either being minor, a prank from Timekeeper, or something else entirely.
Another costume down! I might do another costume concept or make my own, who knows. But for now, take care!

Heathers Part 3: Alchemist Heather
Part 2
This option is inspired by School of Dragons. In this game, Heather was a scientist who helped teach young Vikings on Berk. Going down this route would also require some retconning since she doesn’t show an interest in science in RoB. It could be that she gained an interest/started training shortly after her appearance in the show. Perhaps one of her parents was an alchemist, or maybe she apprenticed with someone afterwards (in a story somewhat similar to that of warrior Heather and her mentor).
She would use alchemy/chemistry in combat to cause distractions, illusions, and harmful explosions or other dangerous effects. It would be cool if she had a weapon or contraption that used alchemy or dragon-based technology. I’m thinking some modified version of the long sceptre/magnifying glass(?) she holds in SoD. To the untrained eye, it would look like she was doing magic, when in reality, she would have little vials of various liquids, gases, and powders loaded into her device. These would produce different effects when the substances interacted with each other or were projected into the air/at a target. I think this change in her design would also require a different dragon (sorry, Windshear) whose abilities/traits could be integrated into the alchemist focus. I’m not quite sure which dragon though. A Gronckle would be fitting, but repetitive...maybe a dragon who secretes a variety of liquids with different effects—like poison, venom, paralysis, hallucinations, paranoia, intoxication, etc. Either that or a dragon who regurgitates what seem like harmless rocks but are actually explosives.
This change to Heather’s character would also give her a stronger connection to Fishlegs. They would have a shared interest to bond over, and it would be a more believable entry to their romance. This could also strengthen her friendship with Hiccup as well and then all three of them could nerd out together. Yay!
I was looking at the original alchemist character in SoD before Heather replaced her (Katrin the Curious). She was an eccentric, whimsical girl who didn’t fit in with the Vikings around her. She was really just concerned with science and the natural world. Pulling inspiration from her would once again, make Heather the perfect candidate for a science special interest squad with Hiccup and Fishlegs. I think it’s possible to find a middle ground between the angry, fierce Heather of RTTE and the original alchemist character: maybe someone who’s withdrawn and sullen as a defence mechanism, but who opens up and becomes enthusiastic about her nerdy interests when she feels safe. (Do you love Alchemist Heather yet? I sure do.)
This version of Heather could have items and materials she kept hidden during the raid on her village as well as things she’s scavenged, traded for, or stolen in extreme cases. Eventually she could borrow or be gifted items by Hiccup and Fishlegs when she rebuilds her relationship with the dragon riders.
Her outfit could be somewhat similar to her white Viking-ified lab coat in SoD. Although I would like it to be more tattered and patched up—maybe open a little at the top or bottom so we can see some of her tunic underneath. I think alchemist Heather in a long, tattered coat with goggles would be an awesome look. It really appeals to my old steampunk character design obsession from about a decade ago. And why not throw in some fingerless gloves? I’d get rid of the pauldrons though, since she won’t be planning to fight at close range. Maybe a vest and bracers made from dragon scales as a form of personal protective equipment? On the other hand, she could wear generic fantasy outfit (or even a slightly different version of her outfit in RoB) with some alchemist elements. We have a lot of options here.
Finally, I think there would be a great contrast between Dagur’s brute strength and Heather’s intellect coming out in her contraptions and alchemy. I’m sensing something very Vi and Jinx about this (from Arcane). And on a side note—Heather being unhinged by lighting things on fire, exploding things, and maybe melting people with acid...yeah, I think that would just make Ruffnut’s crush on her multiply by a thousand.
Heather in School of Dragons:
She looks so cute!
Katrin the Curious:
Love the long hair girl, but that’s gotta be so dangerous in the lab. Being a Viking may be an occupational hazard, but being a scientist doesn’t have to be.
Here are some ideas for what Alchemist Heather’s outfits could be like in RTTE:
Art by Anna Klimova – I really like this because it already has some Norse elements like the apron dress and tortoise shell brooches.
If we’re going with the lab coat, I’m thinking something like this (from Marrakshi Life) but much more faded and maybe with some scorch marks around the edges. It would definitely give her a Doctor Who look.

#006 Sins of the past
You approached Princess Morbucks and her friends...friends probably isn't the right term considering she was yelling at the boy and didn't seem to know the girl. It was entirely possible that they had only met today. Of course you did wonder how such a passionate argument could have broken out between strangers.
"You should know exactly how serious I am about this, Dexter. There's a huge vaccum in the market for villains right now since Mojo disappeared, and since I'm so generous I'll even fund your evil schemes." As always, Princess is pretentious and demanding. No surprises there. You do listen closely though, since you want to know exactly where Mojo might have disappeared to. It's possible that Blossom didn't tell you the entire truth
"I've already told you. I don't do that anymore. I broke off our contract for a reason" The guy in the lab coat, supposedly named Dexter, now speaks. He speaks in a thick accent though you can still tell he's upset. He has curly red hair and wears headphones though you can't tell if they're playing any music
Princess: "Didn't you used to be in a rivalry with Mandark? He's the top ranking right now?"
Dexter: "That's not my problem anymore"
Princess: "So you're just letting him be better than you?"
Dexter: "I already hurt someone important to me once, I don't want to risk it again"
Princess: "What, is this all because you fell in love with a Powerpuff girl?"
Dexter: "It's more-"
Princess: " I saw Blossom here and she hasn't said a word to you, so clearly she doesn't feel the same~"
Dexter: "That's not-wait, isn't that the reason you quit too?"
Princess: "Literally shut up right now"
Dexter: "Because I recall reading a tabloid magazine about how Bubbles left you because you che-"
Princess: "ENOUGH!"
All 3 of you were silent and just stared at her until you spoke.
"Wait, who's Mandark again?" The black haired girl looks like she's about to say answer you but then changes her mind. Princess speaks instead because of her need to dominate any given conversation.
"Oh...you're here. Greeeeeeeat". Of course she doesn't like you. Your last interaction ended with you and your brothers refusing to let her join you. But you were also like, 5. She still seemed petty though.
"Of course you wouldn't know someone that famous. Is it because you were never a real villain? But anyway he's like...mad scientist guy. Reads a lot of nerd shit but actually makes it kind of cool. It's called like...cloud rock or whatever"
"It's called steampunk...For someone acting like she's the grand authority of villainy, you really need to do more research. Anyway I saw him here earlier. He has like black hair, and some stupid cape"
"Oh uh-" You remember that description exactly fits the guy who you just punched. Thinking about it further, a future supervillain interning on whatever weird project had them kidnapped made a lot of sense.
"I may have taken him out...Didn't kill him but uhhh" You showed your now stained gloves, expecting a freakout but they seemed almost uncomfortably calm. The black haired girl looked as if she wanted to say something but realized she probably shouldn't. The guy in the lab coat seemed to smirk a bit. Princess, as always, looked annoyed.
"So...if whatever villain contract you were talking about is open, you should probably be offering it to me, if anyone" You weren't sure if it was something you actually wanted...but job security sounds nice. Even with someone as annoying as her.
"Yeah that's...never gonna happen. If a hero just wants to rely on physical strength and powers that's one thing. But villains have to be smarter. And you...I don't think you have that. Sure, your dad was a real villain. Regardless of my personal feelings I can't deny Mojo's impact. But you and your brothers...you were just a scheme. A means to take down the Powerpuff girls. And that's all you'll EVER be"
Rage flashes through you again but unlike last time you hold back, though your gaze is terrifying. She knows enough about you to know that you can shoot lasers out of your eyes.

DAY 11: DANGANTOBER
Day 11: Favorite Character Design
Oh. My. God. I had the absolute HARDEST time picking who to write this post about. I went through four different drafts, first picking Izuru, then Gundham, then Kiibo, and now finally, Miu Iruma. For the most part, I think the character designs in Danganronpa are really hit or miss. You either get outfits that absolutely SLAY, or you get Kazuichi's highlighter jumpsuit. Miu is one of these character's whose outfits are runway worthy. But first, let's discuss who she is as a character. Miu is one of my favorite characters in V3. Usually, I don't really like the characters who make unnecessary sexual jokes and references, I find it very uncomfortable when done in excess. Obviously, there's exceptions to this, I can handle it when it's in confession form (SEND ME THIRST/GENERAL CONFESSIONS), or when I'm in-person. Anybody who knows me in real life, will know that my humor is very explicit in nature as well. But when I'm playing a game, I try to avoid anything like that. It's the same reason I'm not a big fan of Teruteru (even though if you're a fan of his, chances are you're pretty chill). But for some reason, despite being the BIGGEST offender of this, I find Miu to be a really fun character.
Miu reminds me of one of my friends IRL, and even that friend agrees with that notion. Miu is very funny, especially in her dynamics with Kokichi. Every time the two of them would interact during a trial, it got a very good laugh out of me. THEY WERE GOING FOR EACH OTHER'S THROATS (literally. Looking at you, chapter four).
youtube
She's actually smarter than a lot of people give her credit for. Her entire murder plot in chapter four was actually very well-thought out, from the minor tweaks in the code, to the fail safes she put throughout the game. If she had succeeded, there wouldn't really be any reason to suspect her, and she'd have had a monopoly on all information available in the Neo World Program.
She's also very useful post-mortem, with the Electro Hammers and that one EMP grenade being her creations. Kokichi even had her make a device that would allow him to fake control over the Exisals. Despite her death, she still plays a very big part in the final chapters of the game.
Even if you want to look at trials, she almost always guesses the correct killer. Two examples come to mind, mainly Kirumi and Korekiyo. With Kirumi, she states "I think the cleaning lady did it!" before the group even suspects Kirumi. With Korekiyo, she says "I think you killed them [Angie and Tenko] both!", while everyone was still operating on the idea of there being two killers. I think two blackeneds at once would've been very cool, but alas.
But, let me get back on track, and go back to talking about her design. Let's use this full-body sprite as a reference.
Like many V3 characters, Miu suffers from what I call "Dusty Palette". To me, the colors are too toned down from previous games, and it looks like everyone is covered in a layer of dust. Despite this though, Miu's color palette still manages to be pleasing to the eye. She's mainly pink, with hints of blue, yellow, white, and black. Initially, you wouldn't really think this color combination would work, but it does. The variation on shades creates contrast, the impression of gold detailing against black backgrounds and great shading. She gives like, pastel steampunk vibes. Like, you're LYING if you say Miu wouldn't rock this hat.

On the topic of accessories like this cool hat, Miu knows how to accessorize her outfit. She has on studded, fingerless gloves, goggles, a choker, necklaces resembling barbed wire, and harness straps with gold rings on it. A lot of what she wears has a sense of utility to it. The goggles are the most obvious ones, not only do they make for a good hair look, but she can easily pull them down to work on something. The gloves also fall in this theme, allowing for mobility and hand protection from machinery, while matching her style. The harness and straps are also utilitarian, holding up her socks and providing posture structure, but it's also meant to illicit more of a suggestive undertone. Anyone familiar with Korekiyo's favorite past-time will know what I'm talking about. This is very in-line with her character, wearing things that can be seen as risque, but aren't overtly so, because she's not actually experienced with that.
The lower half of her outfit, the awesome boots, knit or ribbed socks, the straps, and the flowy, pleated skirt all really go well together. The boots come off as a yassified version of Kiyotaka's boots, as well as Junko's. The colors match her palette as well, no mixing of metals here. I believe her boots are supposed to reminiscent of bondage boots, since that's quite literally an item you can give her in-game. The knit socks are giving Pinterest autumn girlie, it stands out a bit, but it's also kind of a statement. You just know those are warm and comfy. We've already discussed the straps, but me personally, I feel like those kinds of garters are really nice touches on outfits. Catch me on Dress To Impress putting those on EVERYTHING.
The upper half of her outfit consists of her jewelry, a chest and arm harness, the gloves, goggles, and pink sailor's uniform with a blue bow. The pink outfit set is so unique, especially when there's already a ton of other female characters in that same traditional uniform. The list is endless really, Sayaka, Toko, Sakura, Peko, Ibuki, Tenko, and Maki all sporting some variation of the outfit. But none of them have theirs in pink, and none of them have accessorized it like Miu has. Honestly, she's an icon, she's a legend, and she is the moment.
Miu is an amazing character, with even better fashion sense. While I can't CONFIDENTLY say I'd be her friend if she were real, I can definitely say she's provide joy when around her. She's smart, fashionable, and funny. I think she can be a bit awkward and insecure, but honestly, more reason to love her.
Just ignore the Love Suites, Love Across The Universe, and honestly, Free Time Event routes too. Jeez, Shuichi and Kiibo are victims.
And honorable mention goes to her admitting to giving Kiibo a camera function so he can take pictures of her...er...waste, and analyze it for her health. Once it was revealed that he was a camera for the entire game, basically streaming everything he sees, one must wonder how much the audience actually saw lmao. Tsumugi was sweating (truth) BULLETS after that reveal for sure.

Hello. I am a merchant, as you can likely tell. My name is Cassilda. I come from... Somewhere. I'm not quite sure, actually. I own a shop, it has big robot legs. Steampunk robot legs.

Their right arm is missing, replaced with a steampunk mechanical arm with various functions. It's skin is covered in galaxies, and she wears a white ceramic mask to cover her galaxy half of it's face. You can see galaxies inside the eye socket, and the other half is steampunk, like their right arm. She is around four foot five, and has golden hair. She wears a black coat with a badge featuring the yellow sign, and golden buttons. Usually they wear insulated work trousers, to protect from heat, big insulated steel toed boots, and a thick glove on their organic hand. They sometimes wear a crown, with long thin golden spikes that reach an entire foot straight up. The crown has the yellow sign integrated into the front. They also occasionally wear a large cloak with an exact replica of the night sky on it, shifting every night or very slowly whenever moving to stay completely accurate constantly, worn usually whenever they have to go somewhere cold without her house. They live on a hill with legs, and her house doubles as a shop.

He knew he could cry to Coil, but part of him didn't want to be seen as weak. "I'm fine-" -> That was a lie. A massive lie. Persodroids (Asui Tsuyu and Hatsume Mei)
Request:
@Genos — Quotev
Anything specific to include: One Day, a young rich girl is taken to an Android store by her servant to buy some friends for Y/N while the mother was away. Y/N decides on Tsuyu and Mei, whom are on sale (Both have speakers for mouths and are in their hero outfits). Once home, and Y/N's mother leaves, Y/N turns the two on, having lots of fun with them over the next week. One night, while Y/N and the two cuddle together, Y/N wishes she could be like them, going to sleep snuggled between the two androids.
» Changed it up more to be more of a basic introduction. Possible part 2 with the end as you had described. Hope that is okay.
———
The drive to the large and extravagant store hadn't taken long since, before you knew it, your driver—Sero Hanta—pulled up to the store with you and your maid, Uraraka Ochako, sitting in the back seat.
Remaining inside the car, you knitted your brows as you looked out the window at the large store with what appeared to be humanoid robots on display..? You weren't sure if that was the proper term, but it'd have to do for now.
You knew you and Uraraka were going shopping for the day even though you hadn't wanted to. But she and even your mother had insisted you come with Uraraka to where she was going for some reason or another; however, that was all the info you had managed to gather from her during the little ride.
As you were looking out the window and trying to figure out the reason behind it, it didn't take long for your view to soon change as Uraraka had since exited from the car and made it to your side of the door, opening it.
Hesitantly you came out of the car before turning to look at Uraraka, "What are we doing here..?"
"Hmm. You'll see!" She replied almost excitedly as she shut the door of the black car before she began walking towards the store, you following behind her.
Upon entering, you both were greeted by even more of the humanoid robots all dressed in different and bizarre outfits while all also looking completely different from one another. But they all had speaker-like areas for mouths which was, admittedly, a bit offsetting.
"Your mother asked me to bring you here to choose out two 'Persodroids' of your own."
"Uh, 'Persodroids'..?" You blinked at her.
Uraraka nodded, "It's like a friend of sorts, except it's an android." She stated, "They're quite popular actually."
"I see . . ."
Well, that explained why she and your mother wanted you to come to the store.
"You can choose whichever two you like." Uraraka stated, "I'll wait for you here as you look around."
You hummed, "What if I don't find one?"
"I'm sure you will."
You sighed, "I guess I'll look around then."
With that, you started off in a random direction to look at all the "Persodroids" that were hanging in display boxes or sitting in human-like positions and whatnot. Each android had a little paper beside them describing them.
Walking towards one of the androids, one with blonde hair that had a black lightning bolt in his hair, you read the paper: Kaminari Denki is a friendly, social, and energetic boy who likes to hang out with people. He is rather casual when interacting with others although he's also not above petty complaining or overreacting if feeling annoyed or shocked enough. Kaminari may come off as blunt and reckless at times but is always well-meaning. He is also very flirtatious.
Frowning, you went to the next one beside him. It was a pink-skinned-and-haired alien-looking android of sorts. You read her description paper: Ashido Mina is a cheerful and easygoing girl who displays a smile on her face most of the time. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering.
She possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping. Due to her athleticism and energy, Ashido enjoys and is very skilled at dancing. Her demeanor becomes more strict and perfectionistic when teaching others how to dance, in direct contrast to her usual happy-go-lucky nature.
It seemed they each had their own personalities along with likes and dislikes . . . so it appeared you'd need to look at each card to find your best match.
With a sigh, you began reading each and every card of the majority of the Persodroids . . .
After what felt like a few hours, you had read just about every single card for each Persodroid. However, even so, you hadn't managed to find anyone you liked—not that you had expected any different since you honestly didn't have much interest in doing so.
"Unable to find one you like?" A voice sounded from behind you.
You jumped a little as you turned around, instantly being greeted by the sight of a rather tall curvaceous woman in a white blouse and tight black pencil skirt with spiky dark purple hair with a pair of striking blue eyes.
You blinked at her, "Who are you?"
"Oh, dear. Excuse my rudeness." She started, "I'm Kayama Nemuri, the owner of the Persodroid Store . . . but as I was saying, you appear to be having trouble."
"I guess."
She hummed as she looked you up and down, "Come with me." She turned and started walking.
Blinking at her as she began getting farther and farther, you reluctantly followed her as she began leading you past all the androids you had already read about, opening a door that appeared to lead into a back room of sorts before leading you to a pair of female androids who sat against the wall—alone.
One had long dark green hair and a skin-tight green and black bodysuit with tan-colored gloves that had buckles around each wrist while also somewhat resembling a frog in a way—possessing larger than average hands.
The other was a girl with salmon-colored hair styled in thick dreadlocks while wearing a plain black tank top with workshop coveralls tied casually around her waist—a pair of red and gold steampunk goggles on top of her head.
But both had the basic speaker-like mouth that all the other Persodroids appeared to sport.
Though with that said, were they messed up?
"I have a feeling these two may be to your liking." Kayama stated as she handed you two pieces of paper, snapping you from your staring at the two androids.
You stared down at the papers in her hand before reluctantly taking them and reading over them, reading the one that had "Asui Tsuyu" on the top: Tsuyu is a straightforward and aloof individual who always speaks bluntly from her mind and what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu," but only by people that she views as friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan"—save for authority figures.
She is noticeably calm and collected, being able to stay levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly dependable friend.
You then proceeded to the one that read "Hatsume Mei" on top: Hatsume Mei shows no fear when it comes to failing, seeing it as an opportunity to learn and do better next time, which is why she does not mind when her inventions fail. She can be seen as self-centered due to putting her love of inventions and gadgets above others, but this selfishness is not a negative as it is out of motivation to improve herself.
She does seem to be a little bit absent-minded as she is easily distracted and can sometimes be completely unaware of her surroundings. She can also be a bit manipulative at times. Furthermore, she seems inept at reading body language and social cues.
Admittedly, these two androids did mildly pique your interest—more so than the other ones who had been out in the open. However, you were curious as to why these two were in the practically empty backroom.
"The green one is Tsuyu and the pink one is Hatsume." Kayama stated.
"Why are they back here?"
She hummed, "They are too good just for anyone."
You raised a brow, "What do you mean?"
"They're special."
"Special?"
A smirk played at her lips, "If you buy them, you shall see."
You looked at her for a moment then back at the two girl androids. This seemed like the most basic of "buy this" convincing you had ever seen. However . . . you were a bit curious about these Persodroids.
Perhaps this had been what Yaoyorozu Momo, one of your friends, had been talking about and described one of her maids to be when you two had talked over some tea when you had gone to her place though you didn't pay too much attention to her rambling.
"So what do you say? Kayama eventually asked.
"Fine. I will take these two."
Her smirk widened, "Very well."
With that, she had soon gotten a few of her workers to prep them to be packed up and placed in your car out front while she led you back to the front desk to ring you up—Uraraka handling the payment once you had told her you had found two you were interested in.
After Uraraka had paid for the two androids, you both were soon escorted out with the two workers who helped you load the two androids into the trunk of the car before you soon entered it instantly followed by Uraraka.
After you both had gotten settled, the car was soon off and heading back home. On the way, Uraraka was happy you had found two you wanted as she asked many questions about them.
Not really wanting to partake in any conversation, you simply handed her the pieces of paper with their descriptions on them as she gladly read it though she did ask which was which with you telling her before she began talking about one thing or another on the way back home as you ignored her—your mind filled with curiosity of the androids you had just bout and, that if what Kayama said was true, what was so special about them.
Once you had gotten home, the two androids stayed in the car as they waited to be unloaded by two of your own personally helpers around your home who had started towards the car right as you headed inside to see your mother.
Right as you walked inside, it didn't take long for your eyes to land on your mother as it appeared she was off to head off, a suitcase in hand—being the CEO of one of the biggest companies of Musutafu, so she usually had to attend long meetings which usually had you being alone most of the time.
As she walked towards youz you began to speak, "Mom–"
"Oh, (First Name), you're back!" She interrupted, "Did you find two Persodroids you like?"
"Ah, yes, I did."
"Wonderful!"
"But why di–"
"I have to go, I'm going to be late for my flight if I don't head out now." She stated, "I'll be back in a week."
"Oh . . ." You had almost forgotten she had a week-long meeting to handle and that her flight left today.
She placed her hand on the top of your head, "Love you, have fun with your new toys." With those words, she soon left you to your own as you watched as she walked through the door right as the two guys bringing in the boxed androids made their way inside.
"Where do you want these?"
You glanced at both of the men carrying the large boxes, appearing to be internally struggling though not saying anything, "You can put them down in the living room."
The two men nodded as they headed into the living room. After a few seconds, they soon came back into the lobby before heading back out to handle what they had originally been doing before your arrival.
Making sure you were alone and seeing as Uraraka had left to handle her regular maid duties for the time being, you soon made your way into the living room. Spotting the two large boxes on the ground, you walked towards them before stopping once you had gotten in front of one of them. Bending down, you opened both of the boxes, revealing the two androids.
As you looked at them, you wondered how you turned them on . . .
Looking around, you soon found a piece of paper inside one of the boxes. Grabbing it, it was obvious directions on how to turn them on. It appeared you'd have to press the little button on their necks—simple really.
Hesitantly, you pressed the button on both of their necks. At first, it did nothing so you were about to press it again since you thought that maybe you hadn't pressed it hard or long enough for it to process your actions; however, the one dubbed Tsuyu's eyes snapped open followed by Hatsume's before they slowly began to rise up from the boxes.
The sudden action of them sitting up caused you to scoot back as you stared at them with somewhat wide eyes. It was a little off-putting with how realistic they looked aside from their mouths, of course.
You continued to stare over at them silently with your eyes still a bit wide and a bead of sweat on your cheek, taking notice of their eyes appearing to glow with a "processing" symbol. Though their eyes soon reverted to more normal-looking ones—Hatsume's still a bit odd-looking though—after a few more seconds as they began to scan the room, soon stopping on your form.
Tsuyu was the first one to speak—her voice perfectly human even with the odd speaker mouth, "I'm Tsuyu Asui. But you can call me Tsu."
"I am Hatsume Mei!" Hatsume said directly after, her voice relatively normal as well, "Who are you?"
"Uh . . ." You paused for a moment, "(L-Last Name) (First Name)."
Both of their eyes seemed to turn into the "processing" symbol before reverting back to the more regular eyes.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, (Last Name)-chan. We are your Personal Androids or 'Persodroids' for short." They said in unison though Hatsume's was a bit more excited sounding, "Basically, we are your android friends."
"Android friends?"
"Yes!" Hatsume started. If she had a normal mouth, you were sure she'd have a smile on her face, "We will do anything and everything with you!"
"As long as you keep us charged that is." Tsuyu came in, her voice not as enthused as Hatsume's, as she placed an oversized finger to her speaker mouth.
"Our batteries last for three days on average while running on a full charge." Hatsume stated, "We can also function while being charged!"
"I see."
"You don't talk much, do you?" She asked.
"She doesn't seem like the type." Tsuyu answered for you as she studied you.
"I–"
"You have such a nice house, (Last Name)!" Hatsume said as she glanced around the living room, her eyes switching to that of computer-animated 8-bit sparkles.
"Yes, it'd really nice." Today agreed.
"Are you rich or something?!" Hatsume turned her gaze back to you.
"Uh, you could say that."
"Wow, that's so cool!"
"I agree." Tsuyu came in as she began to gaze about the lavishly furnished living room herself, "It must be nice having such a lot of money."
You frowned, "I guess."
As you silently stared at the two "Persodroids" who looked at your house in complete amazement (Hatsume more so), you couldn't pinpoint what was exactly so "special" about them. They looked exactly like all the other androids that littered that store, and you were sure they function the same as the others as well.
You wondered if there was a way to shut them off, you were sure there was. After all, you didn't care too much about them and had only got them because of what had been said to you as well as Uraraka being very adamant about you getting one . . .
But at the same time, you were still quite curious about these "Persodroids" as well as curious if they'd eventually show you how special they truly were or if what Mrs. Kayama had told you had been a bunch of bull just to get you to buy them.
So for the time being, you'd allow these "Persodroids" to continue to run—you watching them closely to see if what the owner of the store had said to you was actually true or not through the passing week. And who knows, maybe they may actually grow on you though you highly doubted that.
However, with the days to come with the passing week, you weren't expecting the two androids to slowly do just that. In the end, a small friendship between the three of you was destined to begin in that short amount of time . . .

Yet Another Piece of my Nano Piece I Affectionately Call: Steampunk Hell
Moira stood against one wall of the ballroom. She didn't know how an impoverished mechanic like her ended up in one of the most desired social events of the winter season, but here she was in a dress that cost more than the entire building she lived in with jewelry that was probably worth even more. Not to mention the shoes.
The next time Moira saw Charlie, she was going to shove a heel so far up his ass, he would taste the sole for years to come.
The party was being held in the ballroom of the Soleil Family Estate, and true to their name, it shone like the sun. Gold filigree lined the pillars, sat on tables, even covered parts of the ceiling. The chandeliers were even worse, with the amount of both glass embellishments and magic crystals adorning them.
She took a sip from her champagne glass, somehow managing not to cringe at the taste of alcohol (Moira was never fond of it), and played with the end of the flowy, three-quarter sleeve of her dress using her silver-gloved fingers.
One of the few things Moira would willingly attest to about Charlie was his fashion sense was immaculate. (How he hadn't become a famous designer yet, she would never know.)
He'd put her in a deep sapphire and pale blue number with a skirt of thin layered fabrics that hit just above mid calf. It gave the appearance of waves wrapping about her body, while also teasing to her curves. Moira wasn't the skinniest woman in Arlenington - she took pride in her strength pillowed by a thin layer of fluff, thank you very much -, but few designers actually took her body type into account when making most clothing due to their taste in skeletons.
Charlie even put a crown in her stick-straight bob that brushed her shoulders at its longest point framing her face. His partner, Lawrence, begged to do her makeup for her, and as Moira had already been forced into the dress, she had no energy to say no to their puppy dog eyes.
He'd applied some dark blue powder and lined her eyes in silver. Her lips were painted a midnight blue. Lawrence then added some shimmer to her cheeks and left it at that. Something about her skin being good as it was despite the hard labour contracts she took on occasion, not that the other two had any idea what she actually did at those jobs.
Moira downed the rest of her drink.
Humming along with the music, she made her way from her wallflower spot to the refreshments table further down the wall. Her eyes wandered over the dancers swinging away to the music.
It reminded Moira of her mother teaching her to dance in her father's studio.
A server offered to take the empty glass, and Moira handed it over with a smile.
She was about to head for the bar for a cocktail more to her taste, when a gentleman about her age (23) approached her.
"Milady," he said with a shallow bow and a gloved hand outstretched. "If I may be so bold as to have a few minutes of your time?"
Moira resisted the twitch that wanted to manifest in her left eye. She'd hoped to go the night without interacting with anyone other than Charlie, Lawrence, and the servers.
The young man before her wore a simple but elegant black suit with a silver vest embroidered with a simple geometric pattern beneath it. A short cape attached to the suit with silver brooches hung over his right shoulder. His dirty blond hair was pulled back into a low side-ponytail, and gel held his bangs out of his face.
Moira didn't want to seem rude, so she decided to pull on the etiquette lessons Charlie dragged her to when they were kids.
She placed her hand in his with a polite curtsey. "You may, good sir."
The man gave out a wide grin, crinkling his bright hazel eyes. (Moira would put good money on them shining gold if the light hit them right.) He placed a chaste kiss to her knuckles. "I thank you for your generosity."
Letting go of her hand, The man offered her his arm. "Where to, milady?"
"The bar, please. I'm a bit parched," Moira said, ignoring the raised eyebrow of her new companion, as she looped her arm through his.
He began to lead her around the dance floor to the long, ornate bar against the back wall under the imperial staircase.
"My apologies if I came off a little too strong," he told Moira, "but I wanted to be by your side before someone else stole that honor."
Moira couldn't hold in a snort at that comment before clearing her throat in realization of what she'd just done. Charlie's childhood tutor, Master Leon, would be so disappointed in her.
"Please forgive me for being rude," Moira apologized with an embarrassed smile. She glanced around looking for Charlie's bright head of red hair. "I didn't think I would be so popular."
"Why wouldn't you be? A gorgeous doll such as yourself shouldn't have such low confidence," the man replied seriously.
Before Moira could respond, they reached the bar.
"Any requests?" the man asked.
"Nimble Tonic, please." Moira placed a hand on the wooden bar top as her companion leaned on it while hovering a hand over her mid back, almost as if to say she was his for the time being. Normally, Moira would've shaken him off the moment he did so, but there were eyes on them, and she didn't want to cause trouble.
The man waved over a bartender, who gave him a nod.
He turned back to Moira. "And again, I must apologize. You were being stared at by one of the more, ah... unsavory characters here tonight."
"Oh? And who might that be, if you don't mind," she questioned. She knew some of the gossip and scandals bouncing around thanks to Charlie being a Count, but she'd hoped to avoid it while at the party.
"Lord Richardson."
"Ah," Moira said. She'd heard stories of Lord Richardson's cruelty.
"What can I get for you, Mi'Lord?" The bartender asked, cleaning a glass as he stood before them.
"One Dire Flash and a Nimble Tonic on the tab, my friend."
The bartender gave them a smile. "Right away, Sir."
Moira raised an eyebrow at the man but decided again to let it go. The drinks here were, after all, expensive.
"My Lady, if you don't mind, may I ask for a name to call you by?" The man asked as they waited.
"I go by Emmaline," Moira responded. She always used her middle name at events such as these or any time she modelled for Charlie. "May I inquire as to your's?"
"My friends call me Ferran," he smiled at her as the bartender came back with their drinks.
Moira was about to question his use of the word friends when the song finished.
The dancers stopped and applauded each other and the band. Moira and Ferran joined in with the clapping as did the other bystanders.
The next song began, and Moira's eyes widened as she stared out at the band.
"You know this song?" Ferran asked.
"Yes." Moira didn't just know this song. She was there when it was composed by her father and knew the dance by heart.
"Care to join me for a dance, Lady Emmaline?" Ferran held his arm out for her once more.
She glanced at their drinks and opened her mouth to ask about them, but the bartender spoke before she could.
"I can hold your drinks for you, Sir and Madam."
"Thank you Alex," Ferran said to him without looking away from Moira.
Moira looked between the two then let out a small sigh. "Very well, I guess you've convinced me."
She took Ferran's arm with a grin.

Boba Fett from Star Wars // Cosplayer : Loose Sprocket Cosplay
Some friends and I were planning new costumes for Holiday Matsuri 2018, and I was at a loss for ideas until my best friend suggested gift wrapping my older Mandalorian armor. It all spiraled from there. Rather than wrapping up the older armor set, I wound up designing a whole new build that my best friend dubbed "Jingle Fett". When Anime Weekend Atlanta changed its date to be on Halloween, I knew to bring it the day immediately after was an opportunity I could not miss. Both my friend and I came up with the idea of carrying around a sign that read 'Halloween is Over!! TIME FOR CHRISTMAS". The cherry on top ended up being a speaker on my belt that played the Christmas music you'd expect to hear in retail stores.
This costume is actually my second Mandalorian build. At the time I was still in the process of getting my first Mando up to Mandalorian Merc standards, so I used their costume requirements as a loose guideline for making Jingle Fett. Like many official Mercs, I used sintra to make the armor - and then covered it in the most beautiful Christmas gift wrap I could find. The rangefinder on the helmet is repainted with a North Pole design, adorned with mistletoe. The sash is a flannel with an ugly Christmas sweater print and the loincloth is part of a festive table runner. The "ammo pouches" are just small gift boxes. I used seasonal brocade and cotton lining to make the cape. And lastly, the gloves are a black crushed penne with white fur cuffs with jingle bells. On my right shoulder plate, there is a small gift tag with a Santa-hatted Mythosaur.
When I first walked onto the con floor with "All I Want For Christmas Is You" blasting from my speaker, the reactions were immediate and divisive: I was either met with disgust or rousing admiration - there was no in between. Just about everyone was a good sport about it, though. One of my favorite highlights was when a Kylo Ren cosplayer spotted me and immediately approached me with his hand in the Force-choke gesture. I grabbed my own throat and stood on my toes as another con-goer filmed us for a cosplay music video. My music also triggered a few impromptu dance parties around the con - the most memorable being outside the galleria in the park when an Arcana cosplayer unexpectedly took my hand and danced with me, and the rest of the Arcana group danced with each other as well. My favorite character interaction happened with a Michael Meyers cosplayer. We came across each other near the food trucks, and for a moment just stared at intensely at each other as others watched. He shook his prop knife at me, and I shook my sign at him. He shook his head "no" and I aggressively nodded "yes" back at him. Then he whipped out his phone and began playing the Halloween theme, and I responded by turning my speaker volume all the way up as "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" came up on the playlist to drown out his music. Then I stomped away with my head held high.
A friend and I learned of a small, local sci-fi/fantasy convention in our hometown, which would be my first con. I wore a cobbled up steampunk outfit and my first homemade prop, a clockwork gauntlet made of craft foam. This was my first time seeing cosplay in person. There, I met a local non-profit organization now known as Savannah Costuming Academy. With them, cosplay became a more tangible hobby. I made my first complete costumes under their tutelage.
I've only been doing this for about five years, and have barely six costumes to my name! But what I would say to someone looking to get started? Don't be afraid to try new things, but always do your research. Start simple first, don't dive right in thinking you're going to make that ODST armor your first costume. You gotta walk before you run, and you gotta crawl before you walk. But if your heart has really latched onto a certain idea - do it. My mentors equipped me as best as they could, but not even they had the experience to guide me on how to make my first Mandalorian costume. Sintra was an alien concept to them. I did my research, took a breath, and dived in. It came out far from perfect, but I was very pleased with myself for taking that leap of faith. It's still a work in progress to this day, but I still wear it proudly to every convention.

Mortal Kombat 11’s Joker | DLC Review

Developer: Netherrealm Games
Publisher: Warner Bros Interactive
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 (reviewed), Switch, Xbox One
Release Date: 2020/1/28 [early access], 2020/2/4 (PC, PS4, Switch, X1)
This may not be the first time Netherrealm Studios has designed the Clown Prince of Crime for one on one combat, but the Joker’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat 11 is his best interpretation in a fighting game yet.
Gone are the restrictions of a Teen rating that DC Comics fighting games always adhere to, allowing Joker to be his nastiest and twisted self possible. He uses a club as his standard form of attack but his arsenal also comprises of jack in the boxes with explosives attached, oversized extendable boxing gloves, a Batman doll with a gun inside, and even hostages that have bombs attached to them.

His normal attacks comprises of a fair amount of long reaching attacks, thanks to his club, as well as a fast pop-up string, several mix-ups, and a few normals that make use of his wild assortment of toys. This makes him an unpredictable character than can be hard to read. Of course, you need to take the good with the bad and what he lacks are far reaching lows, and many of his strings and even a decent amount of his normals are unsafe on block.
His esoteric move set and unpredictability can take some time to get used to. As a result, this makes Joker not very noob or casual friendly. However, once you put the time into the character or you watch someone else show you what Joker is capable of and how you should use him, the possibilities will reveal themselves. It could be seen as a criticism that Joker could require outside help in order to understand how to play him but many casual fighting game fans may not be familiar with characters that aren’t rushdown or zoning. Joker is, for the most part, more of a set-up or trap character.

Of course with Mortal Kombat 11’s variation system, you can use the Joker in a variety of ways and the tournament variations do a good job of making the character viable in numerous situations. The first variation, Clown Prince, gives him all his abilities using the Batman doll for a zoning and defensive version of Joker. The second variation Ace of Knaves, meanwhile, emphasizes his set-up traits with his Jack in the Box abilities. Mad Man, the third variation, is mostly for combos and rushdown with his KA-POW ability being included but his Getting Lit ability is also here for the trap play style.
Neither of his hostages abilities nor his BOING ability is used in the tournament variations, which is a shame. BOING would have been a better fit than Getting Lit as it allows for getting in for combos and negating zoners. His Corpse Trot ability is a fun move for combos as well as for maintaining distance, but I’ve yet to find a true use for his Hostage Hop ability. I’m sure it’s meant for traps and set-ups but it moves so slowly that it doesn’t seem as useful as it would like to be.

Joker himself looks great, and vastly improved from his initial reveal. This face is more angular than the more baby faced rounded look of his reveal and it makes him look all the menacing as a result. His fatalities are gruesome and playful and fit the character beautifully. I will say that the sign in his first fatality must be WAY heavier than it looks.
His gear changes his hair / hat / mask (or disguise as its collectively categorized), as well as his cane and his jack in the box. There’s a good variety of choices to unlock for all three gears, especially his disguises. Unfortunately, the costumes are lacking as we get his trademark suit, a slightly different suit with pinstripes and a scarf, a steampunk outfit, and a peacock costume. Where’s some of his more notorious outfits? I want to play as Vacation Joker, when he paralyzed Barbara Gordon! There are 10 colors for each and there are a few, as well as a couple of gear pieces, that seem to reference the Jack Nicholson and Joaquin Phoenix interpretations.

Joker is a great inclusion into Mortal Kombat 11. He’s the most interesting of the DLC characters so far from a gameplay perspective and his revamped playstyle fits the character more than any former interpretation. His place in the meta is still to be determined but for a fun time, call Joker.
Final Score 8/10 Great

Q4 : What first attracted you to this character? A4 : He’s so goddamn normal I thought it was funny. He’s not got any magical powers, he has a shitty backstory but it’s pretty bland comparatively, all he’s got to get by on is whether he can charm people and he’s not got much confidence in that. So now he’s the basically the one normal guy surrounded by immortals and magic and warriors. Also it was an excuse to actually put my crafting knowledge to use as he’s a merchant that deals quite a bit in weaving and carpentry. Q5 : Describe the biggest thing you dislike about your muse. A5 : Well, he’s pretty fucking normal isn’t he? Sometimes I wonder if he’s just too boring for anyone to particularly care about. I’ve always cared more for the ‘odd man out’ characters in series, but I perhaps I was in a small minority there. Q6 : What do you have in common with your muse? A6 : We both short as hell, five foot fuck you. Also crafting, always making something. Q7 : How does your muse feel about you? A7 : He’d probably offer me a drink and condolences, hah Q8 : What characters does your muse have interesting interactions with? A8 : All characters have something interesting to them, I like to think Ruhka’s a way for them to get there, he’s got bit character mcguffin energy. But for him to have an interesting interaction, it usually comes down to humor, and he’s particularly easy to fluster. Q9 : What gives you inspiration to write your muse? A9 : Redemption, I guess. Still being worth something even if you aren’t anything more than normal. Q10 : How long did this take you to complete? A10 : Fuck, idk, an hour?
