Duck Baker informs us: “Yogi said lots of wacky stuff, but this is not real. It's funny enough, but it was put together by a writer named Steve Chalke for All About Jazz in 2015, as a memoriam to Berra. It was intended as a humorous homage.”
[Leila L'Abate]
Interviewer: Can you explain jazz?
Yogi: I can't, but I will. 90% of all jazz is half improvisation. The other half is the part people play while others are playing something they never played with anyone who played that part. So if you play the wrong part, its right. If you play the right part, it might be right if you play it wrong enough. But if you play it too right, it's wrong.
Interviewer: I don't understand.
Yogi: Anyone who understands jazz knows that you can't understand it. It's too complicated. That's what's so simple about it.
Interviewer: Do you understand it?
Yogi: No. That's why I can explain it. If I understood it, I wouldn't know anything about it.
Interviewer: Are there any great jazz players alive today?
Yogi: No. All the great jazz players alive today are dead. Except for the ones that are still alive. But so many of them are dead, that the ones that are still alive are dying to be like the ones that are dead. Some would kill for it.
Interviewer: What is syncopation?
Yogi: That's when the note that you should hear now happens either before or after you hear it. In jazz, you don't hear notes when they happen because that would be some other type of music. Other types of music can be jazz, but only if they're the same as something different from those other kinds.
Interviewer: Now I really don't understand.
Yogi: I haven't taught you enough for you to not understand jazz that well.

Note
who everyone in hawkins would root for baseball wise would probably unfortunately be the yankees bc u cannot go a day no matter where u live w out running into yankees fans, theyre everywhere like some kind of virus 🙄 also the yankees r like genuinley that baseball team
they won their first world series in 1923
then they won back to back world series in 1927 and 1928
then won again in 1932
they won every world series from 1936-1939
they took a year break and then came back to win the world series in 1941 then they took another year break and won again in 1943
they won every world series from 1947-1953
they then decided to take a 2 year break and let some other teams have some fun but ultimately won the 1956 world series, then took another year break and won the 58 world series
they took another two year break and won back to back world series in 1961 and 1962 ( also technically it was only a one year break because they were in the 1960 world series but they lost in the bottom of the 9th inning in game 7 to the pittsburgh pirates)
there was a nice decade and a half in which the yankees failed to be world champions but ofc when they came back to win the world series in 1977 they decided they wanted to win again in 1978
they took another decade and a half or so break and won again in 1996
then took a year break and won in ‘98, ‘99, and 2000
and their last world series they won was in 2009
obviously theyre in this years world series but they play the dodgers which is ALSO arguably the most popular baseball team as well, it’s going to be interesting to see who wins
also on top of those being just the world series the yankees have won, theyve appeared in 13 others but lost making them appear in a total of 41 world series (including this years)
so overall the yankees are 27-13 with world series, and after this world series theyll either be 28-13 OR if they lose like i hope they do, they’ll be 27-14 which basically means the yankees r batting .500 for world series titles which makes them the most popular team simply because theyre always so good and r extremely successful.
not to mention their past hall of famers like babe ruth, joe dimaggio, lou gerhig, mickey mantle, derek jeter, yogi berra, whitey ford and their stars right now like aaron judge, giancarlo stanton, gerrit cole, and literally everyone else
sorry for the info overload of the yankees but thats all to say that i genuinley think that hawkins familys would be yankees fans just simply due to the fact that the yankees r so good and yankees fans r everywhere bc half of their fans r only their fans becayse theyre so good and theyre bandwagons
or theyd all as a community hate the yankees, but i have a feeling ted wheeler, steve harrington, lucas sinclair and probably every other jock r die hard yankees fans
LMAO that’s fair. even in the UK where literally no one cares about baseball at all you can very easily find a place to buy a Yankees hat. lol. here it’s kind of just seen as like an american/new york style streetwear rather than like… an actual sports team but ig that just proves how big they are.
okay here the second clothing store i could think of is selling about thirty of them LMAO. they had other teams too but so many different Yankees hats and like maybe 1 design for the others.

SERÁ UNA SERIE MUNDIAL DE HOLLYWOOD VS BROADWAY
Broadway vs. Hollywood. Metro vs. Autopista. Judge vs. Ohtani.

Tanto poder tanto poder
Santo foder santo foder
Fuzilo enquanto a amante berra
Actriz diz que qualquer dia encerra
Então doeu a queda ?
O nome do meu inimigo é Cruello
De quem é esse corpo que velo ?
O insano antigo ditado
Matou 2, deram lhe satifaz
A minha responsabilidade já ele jaz
Num blues ou black
Lose yourself on the track
Algo faz crack
Agora o teu cérebro perdeu o Pac
O meu pc ficou Mac
Steve Jobs 0 fucks
Tudo a five bucks
O que disse sucks
Levado pelas drugs.
