DUDEEEEE SO there's this dump near my house right. A recycling one. Well the one in my town is quite big. And there's this table where you can leave stuff which you don't want any more but which is still perfectly functional, so other ppl can come pick it up. Well I love me some free slightly old stuff right. So I went there today and there were FIVE!! FIVE!! BLANK DVDS!! JUST THERE!! so yea I'm five empty dvds richer now 👍👍👍👍 there was also a whole shopping bag of Steven King books but i have come to accept that he's not a very good writer (<- read like 4 of his books hoping they'd be good)

OK I'M GUESSING YOU'RE WHO SENT THIS AND THATS FUNNY BC I ASSUMED IT WAS INTENTIONAL AND WAS JUST GONNA ANSWER IT ANYWAYS 😭

ANYWAYS UM so I first played Kid Icarus Uprising when I was 11, and what initially drawed me in was that I liked loud, goofy, funny, flamboyant characters. And still do!! I just really liked anything absurd and memeable (I probably made some mlg edits of him in my mind. Shudders.) Some of it might also be I always liked acting goofy but had some growing shyness from growing into preteen-ness, and so very confident characters appealed to me (that's still a big reason I like him I think, with the tempered "goofy" parts now also being shown through neurodivergent headcanoning & such.) That was also around when my biggest obsession was space instead of fish like it is now so the whole arc appealed to me there. But the other thing is that I was also really into stuff like the scarier episodes of Steven Universe and Gravity Falls and Regular Show and the crazy lore and bossfights in Kirby and such. So I was already hooked by that, then take the stuff that happens in chapter 17 with him turning on you then getting possessed and it just opened the adhd flood gates in my brain. I already was obsessed with Magolor from Kirby before that and this was kinda like an ultra enhanced version of that hyperfixation. I would be 12 and just fall asleep imagining what it was like for him being possessed that way, what happened behind the scenes, what kinds of scenarios could happen post-story? Like when you're a kid and find something horror-adjacent compelling you think about it all the time. Also like. Motions vaguely. Body horror. Hypermasculine character. 🏳️‍⚧️ and such.

The massiveness and unendingness of the hyperfixation is partly because I didn't know I had adhd and autism, so when the pandemic hit when I was 13 I was stuck sitting in bed and thinking about him all the time (including weird stuff I didn't particularly mean to and want to think about) and I thought that meant I was stupid and obsessed and couldn't stop, and it frustrated me a lot. Unironically I truly thought God and Jesus hated me because I thought about him too much and would sometimes unwillingly think "HEY YOU TWO LISTEN TO THIS LOOK AT MY THOUGHTS". I was normal and cool. I learned I wasn't evil only after. Places my head in my hands. the invasive thoughts episode of sanders sides. Yeagh. Because trying to push out thoughts on purpose often just works in opposite I came out of that and I legitimately believe there been very few days in my life that have gone by since where I haven't thought about him at least once. All of my neurons were mylenated with his jpegs. So my obsession with him now is at least partly he's just a cog in my brain now, but also when you think about a character so much you pick out a million potential things to like about him yk. Also a million things that make you rip bark off of trees and grow fangs and destroy things with psychic pulses but that's neither here nor there

ouh boy we have work to do. alright so. labels are typically used to describe what your gender or sexuality IS. for example, im transmasc. which means i changed my gender from the one i was born with to one that feels more like a boy! though, even as a transmasc, i can still present differently (masc, fem, gender neutral, androgynous, etc.), use different pronouns (he/him, she/her, they/them, etc.) and terms (sir, ma'am, mx, etc.), and even use have a gender that ISNT masculine! that is just one example, but that does apply to any label someone identifies with. aka. gender doesnt equal the way someone presents, nor their pronouns/terms, nor their exact experience. sorry if this is a jumbled mess and if it doesnt make sense im trying me best out here</3

As seen in the lyric post and the blog in general; Steven isn’t good in a relationship no matter the type. He will constantly suppress any and all emotions around certain people. Main ones being? Harry and Jake!! Hes slightly more honest with his emotions around his kids bc.. he doesn’t want to loose them.

As for Jake and Harry? Two different reasons

Jake- Even though they knew each other for a LONG ass time. Steven still tries to change himself. Jake can usually pick up on this. Again, another road block in their relationship. Steven has changed so much over the years.. HOWEVER. The more he sees Steven interacting with his kids? He sees more of the same man he did truly love !!! So.. habe a wee bit of wholesome

Harry- ooohe boy. He tries to keep up the employee act near him. He still sees Harry as a dad! Sure. Yet he’ll never admit it. It’s not work-related, so he doesn’t think it’s important to mention. He tries to drop any and all emotions near Harry!!! Emotions = weakness, and weakness = faulty coding. Faulty coding can lead to being scraped. That’s why Steven is hesitant to either see or talk to Harry. He’s supposed to be a manager. He doesn’t need help. Scott never did. So, why should Steven need help? He also thinks it's silly to still see him as a father figure. In his mind, it’s childish; he’s a grown man, but he’s not acting like one.

Plus. I’m sure most of you are aware that!! When coding Steven, Abel programmed Steven so. Again, he couldn’t get too attached to people. I’m throwing the ideas out there that; Abel saw how the close the others got. So, to make sure no more employees were to be distracted! He made sure Steven couldn’t or STRUGGLED to keep relationships!! At times, that’s why he may seem cold and uncaring. Relationships get in the way of work. THANKFULLY THOUGH!!! That coding only shines through in the Scott mindset. Which.. hasn’t been around for a bit. Just… don’t call him Scott n’ we should be fine
