I am so curious about how Peter’s 13 years as a rat affected him, physically and mentally.

I’ve heard it said that if a person spends too much time in their animal form, they can start to physically embody that form, and I know it’s noted that Peter did look rat-like after his transformation.

However, I want to go deeper, like does it affect a persons mind? Does Peter’s body have trouble getting used to being a person again? What would it be like to go from having a rat brain to having a human brain? Did this affect his actions after PoA? I am so so curious about things like this, and I know Peter is pretty hated (with good reason) throughout the HP fandom, but I wish we would spend more time thinking about things like this.
