The Bachelor Pleasentview - Round 3

Natasha and Jodie were caught hooking up in the confessional. There's a camera in there, that wasn't very sneaky of them

On Tuesday the girls were taken to the dining room in pairs to spend a couple hours with Don, but in all the groups the ladies seemed more interested in talking to each other and mostly ignored Don. Is this a strategy? Are they playing hard to get? Or is Don just a bore?

Don played bartender on Wednesday and the first 5 girls to grab a drink got selected for this week's group date. It took a while for the 5th one to wander over and Natasha slammed so many that she wet herself, but she's snagged a place on every group date so far. This girl's in it to win it!

Alexandra was the last to drink up and then decided not to wait for date day, she made her move that night. The next day the lucky five went on a nice but uneventful date to the One Twenty-Five Cafe

Saturday is Want Fulfillment Day and most of the girls chatted to Don about their hobbies or played Marco Polo with him, but Sharon had a want to ask someone on a date so she got the first solo date with Don. They stayed at the house since it wasn't an official solo date but they got to spend a few hours alone in a fenced off bit of the yard

Elimination day and Kristen Loste has a measly 9 relationship points with Don so she gets the boot. But it's a surprise double elimination! Erin Beaker was making some headway with 38 relationship points but it wasn't good enough to survive a double chopping block

Chloe Curious is the only Strangetown Single left in the house but she's not going down without a fight! In fact she gets in fights fairly often

It's been a long time

God, have I not thought about this blog in ages. I didn't even really remember that I had it, until today when I was trying to make a sims 2 blog, tried to use my email and found myself on a sims 4 blog.

So I guess I'm starting up this one instead of creating a new one, as a sims 2 blog that is. I've dabbled in sims 2 supercollection a few times over the years, but never really long enough to learn the game properly as an adult. I played it as a kid, but that playstyle was mainly me and my best friends creating families (often Harry Potter characters), having as many kids as possible and trying to survive. Then, about a year ago, I downloaded the starter pack to my pc (thank god I got it before this legacy edition mess) and stuck around. Started downloading mods and made a spreadsheet to keep track of my rotations. The real ones know, once there's a spreadsheet, shit's real. Now, save has become a megahood featuring Pleasantview, Bluewater Village, Strangetown, Veronaville, Desiderata Valley (katatty's version), Riverblossom Hills (also katatty's version, yes I'm a fan of both her and Taylor Swift. The girls who get it get it.) and Four Corners, with both all three universities and Downtown added. As of right now, I have about 80 households in rotation. It's chaos and I love it.

This is a very longwinded way of saying that I don't play sims 4 anymore. I have started up the game a couple of times in the last year, but I just get bored because it's laggy and nothing happens unless I make the sims. That used to be what I liked about sims 4, that I could just do whatever I wanted, but that's ultimately also why I got bored of it. Coming up with everything on my own without much input from the game was exhausting. Yes, I know there are mods, trust me, I had mods. After losing two saves where I got invested in the characters (one of them being the one I used to post on here), I didn't really have much reason to stick around. Sims 2 throws wacky things at you to incorporate into the story and I love the game so much for it. I love the game so much. Honestly, I don't think I'm ever going back to sims 4 for real. I dabble in 3 sometimes, but 2 is the one that has my heart.

So yeah, that's where I'm at right now. Yes, I'm always this rambly. Anyway, I wanna start posting sims stuff and I'm trying to decide what to post. I have an idea for a BACC that I might start at some point, but I'm also thinking of just mixing in random show and tell from my megahood. I'm not gonna make that one a story, 80 households in feels like a way too large and complicated starting point for posts. Getting through a round takes enough time without posting about it.

Buck moved out to go start his adult life with River, and Kristen moves in.

The General's dislike of going to the doctor catches up with him, and right at the beginning of the round, he dies of sickness.

Tank is a little bit depressed this round, but he tries to move on with his life, especially since Kristen's ends up getting pregnant. She gives birth to a little girl, and they call her Rachel.

been playing sims 2 with strictly maxis + very limited maxis match defaults, it's really inspired me to actually sit down and decorate sims' houses and instead of speed 3-ing constantly through their lives.

this of course in the picture is teen Jill Smith who just discovered the glory of computer games right after sim years of playing only on console. She's from my Strangetown + Desiderata Valley hood that's still in it's 1st round, so she's currently aiming to be besties with Rick Contrary and Violet Jocque :)

Hi, I'm Yuri. I made this account during my ✨preteen cringe phase✨ and I didn't use it for much. It was forgotten for years, but a few months ago I got reminded of its existence. Still, I only used it to like post and occasionally comment. About a week and half ago I was like "I'mma make an Uberhood in The Sims 2". While researching how to do it, I found Pixu's account ( https://pixuou.tumblr.com/ultimatehood https://youtu.be/qIQ4lD_ynJI?si=o0JYn1pEDX9YBuC4 ) and got inspired to use Tumblr as a way to record my gameplay and stories I make about the little pixel people. For those who want to know me a little better, I'm a sleep-deprived biotechnology student from Poland. I'm a lesbian in 20s, who's often described as chaotic. Also, from time to time, I might post art since I like to draw. And I enabled the ask option, if anyone is interested in that. So back to the Hyperfixationhood- Uberhood... Basically, it's a way to play every The Sims 2 neighborhood on one savefile. The setup is fairly easy, you need to pick your main hood and then add other ones as subhoods. I'm playing with Pleasantview as my main hood with added Strangetown, Veronaville, Bluewater Village, Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley, Belladonna Cove, and a custom Downtown ( https://katatty.tumblr.com/post/645638968277417984/im-delighted-to-present-at-last-my-fully-madeover I think it doesn't have any Sims, but adds extra space). I also added all 3 universities (Sim State University, Academie Le Tour, La Fiesta Tech), all 3 vacation destinations (Takemizu Village, Three Lakes, Twikkii Island), and all the Sims from the Stealth Hoods. I use the clean versions for each of those. That was the easy part. Because of the discovery of baby face templates ( https://youtu.be/MFhXpq8E8eQ?si=BWxl77sX-Rg5dmFC ), I decided I wanted my Sims to have genetic infant faces. Every hood had its "babyfied" version. ...Except Belladonna Cove and Desiderata Valley. But I found a tutorial by ivycopur on how to create Sims with baby face templates ( https://ivycopur.dreamwidth.org/439.html ), so I was like "I'mma do it myself". Honestly, it wasn't that hard, just took a lot of time. General gameplay information and rules:

- I'm playing rotationally with each family, but the order of the households varies.

* The very first round (Round 0) will last 2 days, and the rest of the rounds will last 6 days.

- I made myself a custom livespan and custom pregnancy duration, using this tutorial https://s2idownloads.blogspot.com/2016/10/new-tutorial-create-new-pregnancyspan.html?m=1

* Sim pregnancy lasts 36 h, and pet pregnancy lasts 12-24 h.

* 1 day = 6 months

Baby - 2 days (0 - 1 year)

Toddler - 10 days (1 - 6 years)

Child - 14 days (6 - 13 years)

Teen - 18 days (13 - 22 years)

Adult - 76 days (22 - 60 years)

Elder - 20- 40 days (70 - 80 years)

- I'm marking the starting year as 2004 since that's when the game was released. Plus it will be funny when I eventually get into the far future, but the technology won't change much.

- I'm helping myself in choosing my Sims aspirations, one true hobby, and job with the help of a calculator made by Marticore ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15qEDgAZI6Lk8IGKfRmemPYftl5n-mmjOt2CyA5e8dmY/edit?gid=1882396550#gid=1882396550 ). I use it for inspiration often.

- I'm using ACR to choose my Sims' sexuality when they become teenagers, but sometimes I pick it myself if I find it fitting (for example, I headcanon Beau Broke as a gay man when he grows up).

- I'm using several supernatural mods that change the mechanics of occult Sims, found in this video https://youtu.be/FcbEoMHxpo8?si=9hNBwhv9HjEiv6Zl , but I only picked some of them. The most notable ones I added to my game are Alien superpowers, children and teen Plantsims, toddler and child Vampires, child Werewolves, toddler and child Witches, and Fairies as a new occult.

* I have supernatural skins as custom skin tones ( https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=284759 ), and I will change Sim's genetics if they become occult (for example, a Plantsim will get a Plantsim skin in their DNA).

- I'm using The Traits Project mod, which adds The Sims 3 traits to The Sims 2 ( https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr.com/traitsProject ), and the farmhand trait ( https://fireflowersims.tumblr.com/post/651840507529543680/the-3t2-traits-and-the-medieval-caste-expansion ).

* I will randomize Sim's traits, but if a Sim gives me a specific vibe, I will pick a trait myself.

* Toddlers get 2 traits, children get 3 traits, teenagers get 4 traits, and adults (and elders) get 5 traits.

* Each Sim will get at least one trait after mom and at least one trait after dad.

* I also have a chronic illness trait mod ( https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=673581 ). I will give it to my Sims if the pregnancy passes terribly, if the Death by Childbirth mod takes effect, or if it fits story-wise.

- I'm playing kind of half wants-based. I'm going to use the Sims' wants to help influence the story, but they won't be the main deciding factor. I don't want every Sim to turn out the same, and I do have some stories planned.

- Knowledge Sims always go to college, Sims with other aspirations go if they have a want at the end of the teen lifestage, or if it fits the story. The Capp family always goes to college. College is frozen time for those Sims, they don't age there.

- If more than half of the household has corresponding wants to get a pet, they will get one.

- I’m working on a spreadsheet that will help me track and control my gameplay. Apulia Mendoza round. Part one.

She is a sim born in a very old neighborhood of mine. I moved her to Strangetown to introduce some new blood, but also because she's my favorite sim. If you think it's blasphemous to "mix" original sims with premades…I guess I'm here to offend you.

Here are old posts with her on my main blog. In short, she's in love with both General Buzz and Vidcund. She doesn't roll a want to settle down with neither of them though. Buzz proposed to go steady, and she agreed, but when earlier Vidcund made the same proposal, she rejected him, despite having 100/100, love and 3 bolts with him. So it's a mess.

A booty call? But General Buzz is already right outside?

What's he so happy about? Does he think he will be invited to join?

The neighborhood could use some puppies for the adoption pool. So I thought Apulia, being childless and single, could take up dog breeding.

(in case it needs to be said, I'm against backyard breeding and breeding in general tbh, but that's a complicated topic)

Elizabeth Aspir was walking by with her dog, Teddy. I though he might make some interesting looking puppies with Viola, the Apulia's dog. I was so wrong…

The deed was done. What I didn't know was that when you breed a small dog with a large in ts2, all the puppies will be exact clones of the small parent. This sucks, I was so looking forward to seeing a mix of the two breeds :(

Bahus, Apulia's cat, was displeased with all this dog nonsense. He already hates Viola, and now there's two dogs all of a sudden. He didn't know what was coming.

Crystal Mole brought her cat over and they had fun with Bahus.

Apulia is an aspiring author. Her first novel was a huge flop, but everyone starts somewhere.

2024 Simming Goals

Finish Round 3 of Edirann - I got to round 3, but was disinterested for a while so it's not complete. I think we're close to halfway? Finish Breeds for All Needs - Tumblr having a character limit is RUDE. Not So Berry Gen 4 - We did this one! They're toddlers, infants, unborn but we're there. Unlock at Least Two Neighborhoods/Subhoods for UTU Challenge - I got one, Three Lakes, but we're incredibly close to Takemizu Village and Strangetown! Gen 6 for MCLC - Actually made it to Gen 7! Finish 2 Disney Princesses for Different Faces Disney (Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty) - Cinderella ended up being double what I expected, so I'm considering this goal complete given how many sims I pumped out for it. Start Sims Medieval Playthrough - We did it!

All in all, not bad!
