Minor Update

So my save was unfortunately corrupted, which is not as big of a deal as it sounds. My last backup was right before the end of the Nigmos rotation and since i write everything down i can fudge the gameplay to match the prior posts.

If anything drastic changes ill update ya'll on rotation 5!

i never thought i'd see this day until @oceansmotion started spamming me with the request... and yes, that is general buzz grunt in the preview. aoife wanted him to remarry pol 9 in her strangetown, and take over jenny's place. how could i say no?

to my delight, the top fits perfectly texture-based on the male nude mesh; the pants have their own new mesh (600 polys). the shoes are the only wonky part; they look slightly... off? idk how to explain it. but if you're fine with that, the outfit comes in just these exact swatches 😊

do you have any idea how happy i was when i rolled these two's gender preference? astra is pascal's only child (atm) and she grew up happily in the bustling curious household along with her uncles + vidcunds alien triplets. it was chaos but they were happy.

ada, on the other hand, was circe's mini-me growing up. they have the same personality, the love for science and wanted to excel in the medicine career. that is, what she made her parents believe. y'see, ada isn't the knowledge sim that her parents wanted. (nor is her twin sister annie, whom rebelled early-on) but ada kept up appearances.

she concentrated on her studies, did biology at university, she was a good girl.

that was until, she met astra.

astra was not raised to be anything other than herself, it was just pure coincidence that she was a lot alike her family (fucking nice). it took many years of their friendship-then-romance for astra to bring ada out of her shell, to make her realize that being a primary-popularity sim is a-okay. now, ada is working her way up the politics career despite her parent's dismay, but it's alright... soon she'll be a curious and they are happy to have her, as is.

Alright, just so you know, I’m also starting up a new modern megahood, which has Strangetown, Widespot, and Land Grant University. Yes I did steal the idea from someone else on tumblr. The thing is, I think my tendencies of posting extensive stories in the style of a simblr is just ingrained in my brain or something and I’ve been spamming my discord friends way too much with photos/stories. To reiterate: I am not abandoning Riverwood Park whatsoever and I have content for it queued up until the end of January so there is plenty more of that to come. But I will be posting some photos of this hood too. sims 2 corruption is wild like in strangetown there’s this poor dude called knut futa right. i mean already unfortunate on account of his name already, along with being a victim of serial killer olive specter, but that’s the least of this mans worries. this dude has the unfortunate distinction of being the most glitchy sim ever. his grave doesn’t even show up because his character file is so fucked he doesn’t even count as dead. he completely lacks any personality, interests, memories, genetics, age, anything, so the game treats the man as a baby despite him being a full grown adult so he just lies on the floor. any attempts to do anything to help him will fail. he cannot be interacted with. he cannot be aged out of his baby hell because the game will crash. his data is SO borked the community full of bonkers talented programming wizards CANNOT fix him. his data isn’t even formatted correctly. this poor man got hit by the game corruption beam and no one can save him. f in chat for knut futa.

I can’t stop laughing Tommy figured out how improv worked and immediately went to Dream and asked him to do minecraft abuse roleplay as his first ever piece of intentional planned lore and first time ever produced the most accurate depiction of abuse I have ever seen in anything ever. Why did you choose your url?

It’s a mashup of a misheard character from “Around the world in 80 days” and my childhood dog. Look, I was twelve and had to think of a good name quick. It’s stuck around mostly due to me loving that dog to bits and the fact that it looks a bit like a first and surname, which I kind of like? And I’ve used it for 14 years now, changing it would be weird.

How long have you been on tumblr?

Since 2013! I’m ancient by simblr standards.

Nah, most of my “story” stuff is queued since I’m terrified of spamming y’all. I’ll even schedule posts if I’m being particularly chatty a day.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

To keep up with all these interesting English speaking Simmers I found.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

It’s Bella! Who doesn’t love Bella! (Lately, I’ve changed my icons to reflect which hoods I’m currently playing - I usually keep the orange background, though - which means that technically, I’d have to switch it to Phoenix or one of her descendants...)

Why did you choose your header?

Um... It looks nice and the post with my Strangetown night sky did well, so I figured you guys might like it? (clashes horribly with my desktop theme/ icon, though)
