big shout out to my big bro for finding this classic @jamiroquaihq Return of the Space Cowboy tumbler circa ‘94 Jamiroquai were extremely influential to me in my musical upbringing. Meeting and hanging w/ Jay Kay @stuartzender & co. helped shaped who I am as a musician and bandleader. I’ll never forget showing up to the Space Cowboy listening party at Hollywood Moguls (remember that spot? 🤯) and was immediately given this tumbler by Jay (filled w/ Guinness). Toby Smith, keyboardist and founding member of Jamiroquai, has died, as fansite Funkin and FACT report. He was 46. Vocalist Jay Kay formed the band with Smith, Stuart Zender, Nick Van Gelder, and Wallis Buchanan  in 1992. Smith recorded and toured with Jamiroquai through 2002, before leaving to spend more time with his family. He appeared on each of the band’s first five albums, and he cowrote singles including “Virtual Insanity,” “Space Cowboy,” and “Deeper Underground.” In a memorial post, Zender writes of Smith, “All my fondest memories are of him and the band that we created. The most talented musician I have ever had the honor to make music with. There will never be another like you Toby.”

I love you so much. My big brother Toby crossed over to the other side last night. All my fondest memories are of him and the band that we created. The most talented musician I have ever had the honor to make music with. There will never be another like you Toby. Your light will shine on eternally. Thank you for making mine and everyone's life so bright. I celebrate your love and life! Rest in Love. Your bald brother Stu x
