I wanted to draw teen Sidon and Bazz hanging out in Sidon's room, so it was a good moment to finally plan out said room study (that is just a part of his quarters).
It's actually Dorephan’s old quarters, repurposed after he outgrew them. He's responsible for like, half of the clutter, the rest is all Sidon.
#botw#sidon#bazz#zora#loz#zora architecture#Sidon having that much -stuff- is doubly impressive seeing how average zora has like#maybe three personal items that are not weapons#jewelry or tools#bazz looks at all this and all he can think of is three centuries of nonstop fight with mold#the desk is swithed for a bigger one every 20 years or so#luckily they have a bunch of progressively larger desks and chairs from Dorephan’s growing times#there's no doors or windows since zoras arent too worried about privacy#if sidon really wants there are folding screens and seaweed tarps that can be set up for some extra coverage#they're also used during strong storms to block out the rain from damaging the study#also!#bazz compares the study to his (and Seggin’s) house and i wouldn’t have included it if i didnt have it at least roughly sketched out#its much more normal for a zora living space#just a bit bigger#but before i post about it i have to make up my mind about the general housing policies in the domain#caring about fictional politics makes my life so hard

The fact u use AI for virtually all your fics is fucking crazy 🤣
I’m only going to say this once: I have never posted anything written by AI.
1) It uses an insane amount of water and energy.
2) I write when I need a break from my literal constant studying, it’s a hobby and an escape that can’t be replaced by AI.
3) I have nothing to gain by posting fics that I haven’t written myself. I’m not getting paid for this. No one even knows who I am. I had to take a break for months because I was exhausted from writing and had a nasty case of writer’s block!
I understand that AI is becoming more and more prevalent, concerningly so at times, but unwarranted accusations like this hurt writers who pour their passion and effort into their work.
Also, I’ve been using the em-dash since before AI co-opted it (shoutout to my 9th grade English teacher who used to be a journalist and introduced it to me), but now people think it’s a sign of something generated by AI which is so annoying 😭
#the only thing i use AI for is condensing notes and making study outlines#it can be a valuable tool when used in the proper context#but it cannot replace creativity or soul

Anyway, I'll elaborate on this in the tags bc omg I'm going to yap your metaphorical ear off.
#SO during the whole “affogato almost takes over the citadel situation” dark cacao cookie [whom i will refer to as DC for my health]#dc basically took all the cookies that were hunting/fishing/patrolling the surrounding lands for food and stuff to make them work#on fortifying the wall#therefore two things happened 1] the cookies who still were hunting for food literally couldn't keep up with the apatites of cookies who#were working super fucking hard on the wall and 2] all the farming imports from the villages near by stopped almost entirely because#it was too dangerous to import their goods or get anything from the citadel [like tools] so they had to keep what they could for themselves#so effectively a famine was starting#and so cookies started eating things they probably shouldn't like deer crackers and wolf treats#looking at you Caramel and crunchy chip#caramel just never fully kicked the habit because it was what she had alot of and she would trade her rations for them with the villages#crunchy chip just allways did that tho. he's just like that#Dc on the other hand grew up in those lands before there was real communication between villages or a citadel to depend on for rations#so famine was common and rough. eatting bark and leaves were common place in his home so while he does eat jellys he never kicked the#craving for tree bark#on the plus side hes got a crazy strong stomach and can eat just about anything#whereas chocolate wafer is from a small village near the hollyberry kingdom so they have allways had an abundance of fruits and juice to#snack on. they managed to convince dc to add dried berrys to their imported goods list and now they are considerd a sweet treat#idk how to put this in kinda organically so ill just say the dc kingdom is a place that depends on imported goods heavily#things like precious metals and food usually comes from the hollyberry kingdom [and gc before her isolation]#in return dc kingdom provides military support and has the best medicine in all of earthbread. The reason is simple: it's my birthday (01/23)! And my birthday's digits are SO COOL.#So since this number is significant to me I wanted this offering to be significant to me! (which is why this is late; took my time!)#And so I've included a lot of favorite things as well as some personal stuff. Which I will now divulge!#The overall color palette is my favorite colors combined. I use it in my “mightysen” branding.#My favorite word is “miracle” and my favorite miracle is walking on water. I have a fascination with miracles and have studied em intensely#I know people have very mixed opinions about the concept of erasing Johnny's disability; my preference is for his disability as well#HOWEVER. There's a lot of beauty and depth to the concept of a miracle occurring towards him that I'd one day love to dive in and explain.#I will save that for a potential video essay or the massive fanfic I'm writing though#The mantra itself was one given to me recently by God and plays off the idea of angel numbers. A mantra for the number 123!#I love angels! And angel numbers! 123 is a number that acts like a stairwell. And this also ties into the walking on water concept as well.#And you want to know something else about 123? Those exact digits are contained within the Fibonacci sequence. aka THE GOLDEN SPIRAL.#This mantra feels like it's a central message of SBR as a whole and Johnny's journey through it if you think about it.#Originally the quote was just “Take the next best step” but it felt incomplete. The prayer part was an important addition.#Telling someone to take a step is easy. But people are scared and uncertain. Prayer helps you take the next step.#What is prayer exactly? It's simple remembering God exists. God is just another word for love.#I hope that every time you see the number 123 in your day to day you will think of me and this mantra.
