i think we need to take the idea of media literacy and critical thinking away from the social media masses again. they think the only way to enjoy media is to thoroughly and pretentiously critique it, thus removing the ability to simply enjoy something without feeling the need to smash it into a million pieces. you don't have to justify every single thing you enjoy. crazily enough if you watch something with people in real life, you will find that those people don't tend to bring up every single thing wrong with it! often you all end up saying, "that was fun!" most people on this website dont realize this

Real SasuSaku enjoyers (unlike Kishimoto) should embrace that Sasuke wouldn't fall for a sweet girl next door type and that he's hot for Sakura because she could and would kill him and is otherwise ridiculously competent, but she chooses to cuddle with him anyways. Sakura likes Sasuke because he's resilient, and quietly sweet, and determined, and never makes her feel like a crazy person for doing batshit things. And because he always just casually activates his sharingan when she's doing stuff like punching mountains or pulling off insane healing or intimidating the shit out of someone.

What I'm saying is, stop this brooding badass x sweet girl next door shit and open your mind to the freak4freak pairing they are meant to be!!

I love that she's just basically vibing on an island doing whatever she wants. I even love the fact that she scares Odysseus shitless! She's morally gray and that's why she's FUN.

I just sincerely hate when people try to girlboss her or have her be a victim of SA when she never was Looking at you, Miller. Especially when she was actually the one who coerced Odysseus in exchange for his men being transformed back into humans. And even then, while he was clearly afraid of her, (it's in the language of the Odyssey) she likely meant him no harm after a certain point. He just didn't know that.

Why does she need a reason to do awful things? Why can't she just be a goddess who does whatever she wants? That's the reason why I love her!!! She's fucked up!!! :D
