A/N: THANK YOUU!! and i was actually so excited to write this one omg

when Bi-han first met you, he wouldn’t have guessed you were a vampire

besides you being cautious about going out in daytime and not eating anything when you’re on a date with him

the only thing on his mind was trying to get to know you better

he found you interesting

he can tell you’re hiding something though

its like a gut feeling he has

he told Kuai Liang and Tomas about it and they told him he’s just paranoid

Bi-han brushes it off and soon forgets about it

every night, you often sneak out of the house to get a quick snack

a delicious snack

being a vampire was a huge secret to keep to yourself

but you were going to make sure nobody finds out

until one day

you and Bi-han have been dating for quite some time already

you decided to tell him, and if it doesn’t work out.. well? april fools! (imagine it’s not even april)

when it was time, you sat him down and told him the truth

he did not break eye contact the whole time and kept a straight face

when you asked for his thoughts, he said that he’s not really surprised since he noticed your sharp fangs a few times

Bi Han’s irony and pain

So I was doing some research for my mortal kombat au when I came across Bi Han tower ending from the first game.

This stuck out as a little weird to me because well… retiring? From the Lin Kuei? The clan who kills people without remorse? Who are willing to kidnap children to recruit to their ranks? Who will sacrifice their members to create cyborgs. Who are willing to team up with know threats to Outworld? Yeah, if anything I think it more likely Bi Han was going to run away from the Lin kuei and you live off the money he got from the kill. But then that got me thinking… since is from first timeline, he was born in America and raised there with his mother right? What if he was specifically trying to run away to America to find his mom. Okay yes I know that probably not what they intended but ,at least for me it makes sense. We’ve already other timeline Bi Han’s having high reverence for their mothers.

What to say original timeline Bi Han the same. But that got thinking on how that might explain Bi Han actions. Again hear me out. We know Bi Han tends to be more hotheaded and aggressive than his younger brother. But what if the reason for that isn’t arrogance or bloodlust but anger at the Lin kuei itself. Imagine your just living your life as a normal child when all of a sudden you’re kidnapped but some strange people to work for them, forced into hard training regime your body isn’t used too and forced to commit horrific acts at such a young age. We don’t know how old Bi Han was when he was taken but we do know he was a kid when it happened so his mind and sense of self were still developing and he had some time to live a normal life before he was taken. His stubbornness and hotheaded nature were a result of him angry at the Lin kuei for taking what essentially his life away. And maybe his more aggressive ways could be due to trauma caused by the Lin kuei, damaging his mental state. This might also explain Kuai Liang as well. We don’t know how old he was when he was kidnapped but what if he was only a baby when it happened. He wouldn’t have know any other life other than the Lin Kuei. The harsh training and killing wouldn’t affect him as much because in his mind it this was normal. He wouldn’t have a reason to be more angry or aggressive because to him this was fine. Heck who knows maybe while Bi Han may have become more aggressive he could’ve taught his brother about morality to ensure his brother didn’t go down as much of a violent path as the rest of the Lin kuei. Maybe this is why he spared Sareena, not just because of mercy specifically but because he saw another soul who was forced into a life they didn’t want and he was felt bad for her and wanted to give her a chance. But honestly the thing that stuck out the most was the complete irony of his situation later on his life. This is a version of sub zero who constantly fought for his freedom, yet when it was in his grasp, he was killed. And when he entered the Netherrealm, even there he wasn’t freed as he was then made into a servant of Shao Kahn and Quan Chi . Maybe that why he hates his brother in that timeline. Kuai Liang escaped the Lin Kuei, he was free yet he went back to the Lin kuei he wasted his chance which Bi Han in his alter state despises. Or maybe he was envious of the time Kuai was free, feeling that it should have been him. Maybe he tried to take over the Lin kuei to destroy it or build it into something else so no one else would feel the pain he felt. I know all of this seems illogical and stupid and it probably wasn’t what Netherrealm had intended but I can’t help think what could’ve have been, something that could’ve made Bi Han more interesting. But nope now we got a Bi Han Lin kuei extremist who just completely evil and not broken. But hey the noob sailboat trailer gave some interesting hints, which could redeem his character. But then then again, we’ll have to wait and see.

Shang Tsung can sing! He does not do it often, and inly really does it when he's by himself, but the few times he has done it around Bi-Han, the man absolutely loses it. He really, really likes it when he sings.

Shang knows this. Sometimes, at night whenever they are about to go to sleep. Shang Tsung sings to Bi-Han quietly as he holds him, gently stroking his hair.

Bi-Han adores it. He snuggles into Shang Tsung, holds onto him tight and sleeps like a baby on those nights.

Shang Tsung gives Bi-Han the silent treatment whenever they get into big fights. He refuses to apologize or speak to him unless Bi-Han does so first. But Bi-Han is not having it, and so he holds his ground.

Their little feud ends when either one of them misses the other too much. It’s impossible for them to stop talking to eachother for so long.

Shang Tsung hates, and I mean hates the cold. He gets cold very easily and always complains about it.

Bi-Han knows this, and is very mindful of his cryomancy. Unfortunately, he runs cold anyways. Shang Tsung deals with it, for the most part. He actually likes the feeling of Bi-Han’s cold, large hands on him.

Bi-Han is very reserved and keeps to himself when they are out in public together. The second they’re alone, though? That man is all over Shang Tsung. He would rather die than admit it but he LOVESS physical touch.

They like to watch eachother work. Shang Tsung likes to sit back and watch Bi-Han train/practice and Bi-Han hovers around Shang Tsung as he works on his experiments and such. It’s basically their version of quality time with eachother :)

Bi-Han calls Shang Tsung “love” and refers to him as “his” a lot (ex. my sorcerer) and Shang Tsung calls Bi-Han “dear” <3 (he also says things like “my dearest Bi-Han/Dearest Bi-Han” often)

(building off of the last one) Bi-Han does not call Shang Tsung pet names often. He only has one or two and uses them rarely. Shang Tsung is the opposite. He calls Bi-Han every damn pet name in the book (he acts like he hates it, but he secretly likes it).

- if it takes a lot for him to give praises, i believe it takes a lot more for him to laugh- this seals the deal

- "Bi Han! Help!" you'd cry out, and he'd come running to find your knees touching each other as they face inwards. His eyes would find your hands covering the huge rip on your bum, and your pretty, cotton, everyday panties peeking through

- he'd then trail to the bits of thread that come off your pants, then to the nail that holds the rest of the fabric that came off your butt

- i think he'd have a comic book moment. the moment where the character looks at the other character, back to the problem, then back to the character

- if you, reader, don't care about the pants, he'd listen to you and toss them out in a heartbeat. if you did like those pants, he'd do his best to get a servant to fix them

- worst case scenario is that he'd have to find the exact brand of pants you wore

- still, he'd go great lengths to cover you up so you'd have some dignity left. he'd take off that outer layer of his uniform and drape it over you, and it'd do the job well because he's two heads taller than you

- if you try to remind him that he laughed, he'd literally deny it til his death

- still, even as he denies it all, you know he's thinking about it when he looks away from you and his left eyebrow (yes, you studied his facial expressions) is quirked up roughly ten degrees

- he'd show up from a fissure of smoke, face scrunched up in worry as he assesses the situation. you're panicked, and he needs to remain calm or else you'll panic more

- he'd actually find the piece of fabric that ripped off. it'd probably be hooked on a splintered piece of wood from the side-wall of the tatami door. taking it, he'd foolishly look around your bum and leg area to find the rip

- "Hey!" you'd giggle-screech. "Don't be a perv!"

- i think Tomas would be very sad and borderline offended you'd think of him like that. he'd give you a look, that's for sure, and he'd continue to quietly assess your circumstance

- only when he finds the little frills of your lacy undies will he turn the deepest shade of pink possible on the human body. he'd flail around like a fish out of water, stuttering and finding something to cover you

- it isn't until he walks behind you a bit, realizing that there is a reason why you're not getting up

- he'd see your hands failing to cover a hole that was right over the middle of your pants

- then, he'd see the bit of fabric that's being held by a splinter in the wooden floor of the room. he'd catch a glimpse of your panties, the color not all too difficult to miss

- "Do you think we can salvage this?" you'd ask him. Kuai Liang would give it to you straight

- Kuai Liang would also order you new pants. you didn't even get to mention it before Kuai Liang had sent another handmaiden out to a nearby village to find similar, if not, the exact same pants as the ones you ripped
