I strongly used to think that if you give your best and sacrifice your wishes for someone, and do things their way, one day your such act would be valued. Valued in the sense that if you'll put forward your point of view, it would be gladly accepted. But that's not the case in reality!

It's just that they get used to you being their puppet. They get used to enforce their wants and needs upon you. And then you are unable to get back to your original self..

Just realized that every action Damon does near Elena rather save her or another thing is based on an impulsive decision. Stefan does every action because he loves her not saying Damon doesn't but Stefan's love is pure as Lexie believed. He takes his time and analyzes so no one gets hurt. Damon doesn't care if someone gets hurt, stefan bases his feelings and actions on that. Yes, Damon is selfish and will always be no matter what. Delena may be passion but Stelena is pure love.
